Walked by Nana's Green Tea enroute to dinner and stopped on the way back for dessert. Opted for the matcha cheesecake. The presentation and taste were excellent...not overly sweet and the matcha was nicely balanced. It was a very positive dessert experience.
This cafe serves matcha-based (and other Japanese-flavoured) desserts and drinks and some Japanese comfort meals. The sweets are their speciality but I do like the savoury dishes too, they're simple but it's a refreshing style of food and they seem to use good ingredients including fresh seafood. I have tried the ikura & salmon and teriyaki unagi dashi chazukes, and the tofu & avocado donburi (this is the one vegetarian savoury and it's kind of a "secret menu" item in fine print...read full review
