“Hands down the best thai ive had in the city. I had been missing khao soi and this place provided. Food was flavorful and pretty to look at. Highly recommend if you’re in the oak bay areaDietary restrictions: I have dairy sensitivity and accidentally ordered the thai ice tea not knowing it had dairy. My partner drank it but the server brought me a dairy free version free of charge!“
“Had a great experience. The service was quick. I have no doubt that I will come back again. Highly recommend. The best Thai food in Victoria. Hidden Gem. Prices and Portions reasonable.Really enjoyed the curry and the pad Thai which did NOT taste like ketchup close to authentic in Victoria search no more.“
“Love love love this place!! When my wife and I a re looking for Thai.. this is THE place to go. I have yet to have a bad experience here and I would say we go here at least once a month. Their Panang red curry is to die for!! Do yourself a favor and just go to Sabhai Thai.. You'll thank me!“
“Excellent experience tonight. We went for my wife's birthday, I was a little nervous cause we haven't been before. All the dishes were delicious, service was exceptional. And very nice to see the place was busy for a Monday. We will be back.“
“We had the Green Curry (Tofu) and the Red Curry (Chicken). I've had a lot of Thai Curry, this is not the 'thick sauce' kind. The Coconut Milk is delicate and flavors are fresh and clean, tasty, great service, good portions. Very quaint little bistro atmosphere. I'll be going back soon.“
“Great place to get Thai food! They were apparently the first Thai food place in Victoria, according to the introduction on their menu. Happy to stumble upon this place.I got the chicken pad thai from lunch menu, and my husband got some sort of red curry. He was used to food places not being really spicy even if it’s the highest level, so he got a 4 out 5. It was REALLY spicy, so this place is legit spicy lol.Lunch menu comes with a spring roll.Parking: We parked at a nearby paid parking garage and walked over.“
“Good place for lunch. Value is not the best but not bad. When I was dining there the waitress was watching some Asian drama which was a bit distracting. People do not realize how cell phone speakers and their poor quality are to others not watching. Especially not great when it's coming from the someone working.“
“My wife and I have been long time customers and make the trek from Bear Mountain to dine on their Tom Yum and Tom Ka soups. Best we can find in Greater Victoria and we have tried all. The flavour is spot on and they always provide us with a generous portion of vegetables, chicken and prawns. Only negative I'd say is the price is a little more than a few places but I'm willing to pay a premium if the food and portions are good.“
“I ordered C3 based on the reviews, W4 and N4 based on the waiter's recommendation, and ordered A3 myself. The red curry chicken was great, and W4 beef stir-fried with vegetables had a good Chinese flavor. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.“
“My beautiful wife and I had a lovely time at Baan Thai. The food was great - i was wonderfully surprised! It was really good. We went about two weeks ago, and so sorry, i wish i could remember the dish i had. Regardless it was awesome and I'd go again. Our server was very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend visiting Baan Thai.“
“This is my favorite place to go with friends and family. My 11 years old daugther likes Pad Thai with classic source and I like Pad Thai with chili source. Their Grilled chickin with peanut source is also our favorite. I strongly recomend vietnamese noodle soup as well. I have tried several place for Thai food but I am sure this is the best taste. Staff are also kind and friendly. I love to visit again and introduce to my friends.Parking: There is Parking space on the back. Easy to use.“
“No idea what the food is like as while only 5km away they said they don't deliver in this direction. Seems crazy!OK, so I got the food eventually. Go Iber Eats!!! Suggest that the restaurant make a suggestion as to how customers can get a delivery rather than just say no. First world problems I know but frustrating.“
“My hubby and I have been spoiled as in our hometown we've been used to getting really great Pho. Unfortunately, several years ago our favorite place closed and went back home to Thailand. Craving for our favorite Pho we've been on the hunt to find the same flavors we once had locally. Needless to say we've been unsuccessful and spent a lot of $$$ trying to satisfy our palates. While in Victoria we were determined to find a descent bowl of Pho and checked many reviews. Hesitant to throw anymore money away on a blame broth we decided to give Pho Wisdom a try. So glad we did because all our beloved flavors we're spot on and we couldn't get enough. Highly recommend this restaurant. We also had the Pad Thai which was great! Very clean establishment and although it seemed as if there was only one waiter and one cook running the place it still worked. We had an average wait for our meal and price was well worth the portions served up. We took a to go box home and had enough leftover to serve us both again for lunch the next day. Fantastic !!!!“
“We chose the vegan option for everything and the dishes were simply amazing! We tried the red curry, massaman curry, pad Thai, and the Kao Pad Krapao fried rice (all vegan options) and they were all brilliant, especially the Kao Pad Krapao fried rice! Great option for anyone looking for vegan Thai food near Victoria! The hostess was amazing as well, great service with the amazing food! Will go again if we visit the island again.Vegetarian options: We asked if they could make a vegan version of a few dishes which were not in the vegan / vegetarian menu and the hostess was very nice to oblige.“
“The food is quite salty but that's the normal standard of East Asian foods, a good neutralizer for the saltiness is to eat it with rice. Overall, it tastes succulent. The atmosphere is slightly dim and the resto serves alcohol and wine as well. There is a bar “
“Sooooo.....first time ordering and eating after hearing good things about the place. And we just kept forgetting to order there, and would drop by QF and get their takeout, which is ok... BUT then we finally did it! We order from the mysterious Asian Noodle House....AND it was VERY good. The chow mein noodles were almost perfect (I mean who's perfect right?) And the teriyaki chicken had LOTs of chicken and the veggies were tender with a bit of crisp to them which is great. The wonton was great but just throw in some green onion for colour otherwise very tasty. Oh and lest I forget, the dinner for 2 should be called Dinner for 2 Nights! Lots of food, and we ate alot. So thank you ANH for the sneak attack food which was a 5/5!“
“We arr always guaranteed a great meal. The staff is cheerful. We are always greeted with a smile, asking how we are. The service is prompt and not rushed, very friendly.Parking: Lot of parking at the back of the restaurant. There is an entrance to the restraunt from the back.“
“It didn’t disappoint! Authentic food, great service - our server had so much personality and really made the experience :)My advice is go spicier than you think, as the food wasn’t nearly as spicy as we anticipatedOverall great experience and food, good for sharing and really good prices!“
