“We visited again from Sask and did not disappoint! Amazing! Well worth the wait in line! I had the tuna on salad! And my husband had the halibut fish and chips with a side of the chowder. The chowder was his favourite. Still taking about it. The staff were also fantastic. Friendly and very efficient! For the amount of people served and the small space we were amazed at how spotless the kitchen was. Highly recommend a visit here!!“

“This is our must go to restaurant when we visit Victoria via boat for 30 years. First-year there I ordered the BlackBerry halibut and every year since then I order it and it's still my favorite cooked perfect, it's hard to make halibut moist like butter. My husband loves the olive tapenade they serve with their focaccia bread and will get an extra bowl to pour on his pasta. Best cheese cake too. Great culture, attention to detail, they even use copper water pitchers, the water is great.“

“I shall have to come back and try it again, it was very good. I had the Takoyaki Appetizer, deep fried octopus balls and for the main course Black Arashi Tan Tan - Black sesame base with pork belly, egg, spinach, bamboo shoots, crushed peanuts, chili oil, garlic, green onion and nori seaweed.“

“Chicken and ribs were great but steaks were salty, poorly cooked and dry (raw then overcooked dry). Staff was excellent and we've had one great steak there (last year) but now the bad steaks outnumber the good and they now marinate in what seems a salty smoke marinade. Ribs were great though... and service was excellent.“

Everything, from the excellent dark roast brew to the fluffy, totally-filled chorizo, aged cheese, sauteéd onion omelet, to the savory potatoes and lovely sourdough toast…all the best!! Taken great care of by Tre(sp.?) and all of the very pleasant, accommodating staff! Thank you for a great send-off back to Seattle…then New York and Boston! When they state porkbelly and you get shaved roast porkbelly that is not seasoned and because it is thinner than their bacon super chewy and distracts from the other flavours of the dish which are okay. If they rubbed it and braised the belly and cut proper thick slices for porkbelly it would do the oppisite and add to the dish 🥲.“

She was they type of server that knew when you needed her but, never hovered. She always kept our table cleaned for the next course of food..

“This has been one of the best Greek restaurants we’ve ever been to. From the food to the service it was amazing and done right! Would 100% recommend! We had the keftedes, moussaka, lamb shank, and ekmek and they were to die for! We ate everything off the plate, and our serve Dimitri was just the best!“

“The server was amazing, accommodating, friendly, personable, genuine, and asked all the necessary questions (allergies, spice level). I’m not sure if she was the owner but you can tell she knew her stuff. She accommodated all of our requests and made awesome recommendations. The restaurant was inviting, and had nice water and fire features. The food was top notch, and came out quickly. Before they opened for dinner, we had seen people wait outside of the restaurant to get in once they opened, which is always a good sign anywhere you go. Thanks for the amazing food, would recommend and I wish I got the servers (or owner?) name!“

Although I didn't find the menu of food particularly appealing, your needs are probably different than mine, so have at it. The people working there were friendly and knew about their beers. Definitely stop in. If I find myself there again, I'll be trying the gin and whiskey.“
