“I’ve been to grounds and greens a few times! Not disappointing each time. When I went to the Fort Langley location I had their gold digger drink, I was very impressed with all the flavour combinations! I tried their monkey business muffin and keep trying to go back for another! The “cream cheese” was so satisfying for my hunger for real cream cheese.”

“My fiance and I had our first date at Ulis 4 years ago. The food was delicious, the service was amazing and the view is beautiful. So when our 4th anniversary came around we decided to have our first date all over again. We went to Ulis again for some delicious food. When our server asked us what our plans for the day was my fiance told him that we had come to Ulis on our first date and that it was our anniversary. Our server was absolutely amazing (I wish I could remember his name, but unfortunately I can’t) he went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely experience. He even brought us out some compliantly cheesecake for us to celebrate our anniversary. Our server had no idea that my fiance had plans on popping me the question that night. I would like to thank everyone at Ulis from the bottom of my heart for helping make our special day that much more special, memorable and for the amazing service and yummy food. “This is an awesome joint. The menu is expansive, food is amazing.. my daughter loved her mini donuts and we loved our chai and salted caramel Mocha. The people running the place are very friendly and loving. You can tell they care. Everything here is homemade including the bread. The joint is very clean. I recommend this little family run joint to everyone.
Very good vegetarian menu as well. The veggie burger was absolutely scrumptious.”

“Went in for a pistachio gelato. It’s incredible rich in flavor. I would say it’s by far the best pistachio gelato I have in town. The daughter of the owner is so friendly. They made their own gelato. The hazelnut is soooo good too. I wish I can bring back home by bucket. 😋😋 Other ice cream stores along the streets may have fancier interiors, but can’t beat the homemade delicious flavors, authentic ingredients of the gelato, affordable price, n friendliness of this cafe 😊”

“Excellent service and atmosphere. Our server, Vanessa, was so kind and attentive without being overbearing. We arrived around 2:30 pm so the restaurant was not busy and we got a table on the patio with a great view of the beach. We had the mole taster and squid chiccarones for appys and the chicken Hurache and the Mole Amarillo (pictured). And the Horchata and Cucumber, lime soda for drinks. The food overall is authentic and tasty. We'll be back.”

“After spending a day, searching for shells, we were excited to experience the seaside restaurants, and I’m glad we picked this one. The food was amazing. The staff were attentive. We chose to sit outside and it was warm when it did get a little chilly we had blankets from the staff. Serving portions were amazing for their happy hour menu, and the beer is local red truck, which went down perfectly with what we were eating overall 11 out of 10.”

“My wife and I had breakfast recently. Absolutely terrific! Had 2 poached eggs,sausages, fried potatoes, toast and endless coffee. The fried potatoes were the best - not the little frozen McCains fried jobbies. My previous regular breakfast haunt, under new management, made the classic new owners mistake of changing the offering - namely the fried potatoes - game changer.”

“After spending time at White Rock Marine Drive Beach, we stopped here and it was such a great find! Loved the Indian fusion concept — the Aachari burger and peri peri paneer burger were packed with flavor. Even the noodle burger was so unique and delicious. The mango and Oreo KitKat shakes were rich and refreshing. Cozy ambiance, indoor games for family time, and a perfect location with a beautiful view. Highly recommend!”

“I have to write this yesterday March 8th went for a nice walk and then to moby dicks for the there famous fish and chips, service was a hit n miss, food was great, my wife ordered a cesar with NO tabasco in a sleeve, waitress left i could tell she seemed a little complexed. She then came back to clarify and voila she received her drink, well took a drink and could tell it was spicy and some people cannot take spices period, she did not want to say anything drank approx a third of it and put it aside, sorta mentioned something to the waitress, but nothing happened, we paid the bill the left and not soon after she started with gag reflex over and over and over to vomiting all over herself, now me on the other hand would have taken her back to the restaurant to show them but anyhow she asked me not to. She is a senior also, another gentleman complained to the waitress about his order that what he ordered was not what he received, Its a shame nowadays to go out and expect the service that one would receive at one time, then oh don't forget they also want minimum 15% tip for this, comon ???!! not very re-assuring!!”

We ordered the tikka chicken wrap and fries, the food was served fresh and hot, the quality of the ingredients are definitely worth stopping by. This is one of our go to places now when we're in white rock, we will be coming back here again and trying some of their other items like their poutines. We recommend anyone to stop here and try something out.”

“We started off Remembrance Day 2025 at our favourite brunch spot, IHOP in South Surrey. We reached around 10:30 a.m. and had to wait about 15 minutes for a table, which was totally understandable since it was a stat holiday. Once seated, we began with some tea and coffee, and the service was friendly and quick.

The Tres Leches Pancakes were absolutely mind-blowing. Soft, sweet, and so satisfying.

We also tried the Country Fried Steak, which came smothered in sauce with buttered broccoli and two fluffy buttermilk pancakes on the side.

The Crispy Chicken Sandwich and Classic Chicken Sandwich with avocado and bacon were both excellent, crispy, juicy, and full of flavour.

The Jalapeño Kick Steak Burger was another hit with its spicy mix of sautéed jalapeños, serrano peppers, onions, and crispy bacon.

Overall, it was the perfect way to start the day. Great food, warm service, and the cozy IHOP atmosphere we always enjoy.”

The hot and sour soup is flavourful to my taste, but it is really an acquired taste so don’t expect the soup to be fitting to your taste because it is likely different from each restaurant.

There are special daily dishes written on a whiteboard place over the cashier make sure to check it out before you order.

it’s really a unique taste because they serve authentic Shanghai Cuisine. Shanghai Cuisine are not flavourful compared to other Chinese cuisine. It is in fact quite sweet. What I’m trying to say is that the dishes wont be as flavourful as Wok places or other restaurants.

Overall a decent restaurant they you should visit. Whilst the food is quite good, BUT don’t expect it to be boggy or clean like the newer Chinese restaurants.”

“Our first visit to Natures Fare Markets and it most certainly will not be our last! To start, we were assisted in-store by a wonderful and helpful employee, Ceceul, she was so kind! We drove up from Bellingham WA., to purchase the line of Aidens Gluten Free products (they are not available in the USA), loaves, baguettes and English Muffins, with Ceceul’s help we found them all. The store itself is very well merchandised with a great selection of products not found in most of your “customary” grocery stores, this made the adventure in-store that much more enjoyable! We joined the Natures Fare Frequent Buyers Program but unfortunately our first purchase which was over $100 did jot qualify, that was the only downside to our visit. Hopefully corporate would consider revisiting this program to ensure the first purchase as well as any subsequent purchases all apply to the ongoing tally. Don’t offer a program and then immediately cause a negative experience, that is simply counterproductive in my mind. At this rate we will be visiting this location every other week for the foreseeable future.”

“One of the most luxurious sushi experiences I’ve had. If you’re looking for $7 California rolls, this is not the place for you. This was an experience from start to finish.
I started with the miso soup, which was solid, but the tako sunomono was the standout early on. Perfectly balanced acidity, generous portions of octopus, and incredibly fresh.
Next was the Miyazaki A5 Wagyu Aburi alongside the yellowtail and tuna belly nigiri. Absolutely incredible. The wagyu had an amazing char and melted in your mouth, while the fish was rich, fatty, and velvety smooth.
To finish, I asked the server to recommend a roll and she suggested the Takas Fire Roll. It did not disappoint.
Highly recommend for date nights, special occasions, or anyone looking for high-quality sushi and an elevated dining experience.”
