When I went to the Fort Langley location I had their gold digger drink, I was very impressed with all the flavour combinations! I tried their monkey business muffin and keep trying to go back for another! The “cream cheese” was so satisfying for my hunger for real cream cheese.”

“My fiance and I had our first date at Ulis 4 years ago. The food was delicious, the service was amazing and the view is beautiful. So when our 4th anniversary came around we decided to have our first date all over again. We went to Ulis again for some delicious food. When our server asked us what our plans for the day was my fiance told him that we had come to Ulis on our first date and that it was our anniversary. Our server was absolutely amazing (I wish I could remember his name, but unfortunately I can’t) he went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely experience. He even brought us out some compliantly cheesecake for us to celebrate our anniversary. Our server had no idea that my fiance had plans on popping me the question that night. I would like to thank everyone at Ulis from the bottom of my heart for helping make our special day that much more special, memorable and for the amazing service and yummy food. If you are looking for a restaurant that has absolutely amazing service, delicious food, and a beautiful view you need to dine at Ulis. Highly recommend!”

“Everything was excellent, as White Rock area provides. Sadly the place was super cold as the walk through windows were kept open (to please one set of guests) in today's rainy weather. When requested again after half an hour, it was only closed after a second request, that took almost 40 mins after the first request, took permission from the 'guests' to close the windows. Otherwise, Chaiwala is Chaiwala! Excellent restaurant and ambience. Thank-you for your service”

“Amazing New Burger! I tried their new burger today and it was so good. The chicken was super crispy and juicy, and the glaze on top added the perfect sweet-savory flavor. The bottom layer of their new creamy onion sauce was a great surprise too and it paired perfectly with the pickles and chicken. Highly recommend trying it!”

“We started off Remembrance Day 2025 at our favourite brunch spot, IHOP in South Surrey. We reached around 10:30 a.m. and had to wait about 15 minutes for a table, which was totally understandable since it was a stat holiday. Once seated, we began with some tea and coffee, and the service was friendly and quick.

The Tres Leches Pancakes were absolutely mind-blowing. Soft, sweet, and so satisfying.

We also tried the Country Fried Steak, which came smothered in sauce with buttered broccoli and two fluffy buttermilk pancakes on the side.

The Crispy Chicken Sandwich and Classic Chicken Sandwich with avocado and bacon were both excellent, crispy, juicy, and full of flavour.

The Jalapeño Kick Steak Burger was another hit with its spicy mix of sautéed jalapeños, serrano peppers, onions, and crispy bacon.

Overall, it was the perfect way to start the day. Great food, warm service, and the cozy IHOP atmosphere we always enjoy.”

Got the Gang KeoWan curry. Its well made, no complaints. Generous amounts of chicken. Highly recommended to pair with a bowl of coconut rice. They really don't skimp on the amount of coconut cream used. Though it costs $3.50, its still worth it. I think there's quite a lot of vegetarian options as well on the menu.”

Tia, at the cosmetic counter, was outstanding with her knowledge, honesty, and charm. I did not feel pressured in any way,. Tia!!!! Your the Best. :). then i was looking at some out door plants, and Stephan the produce manager took it upon himself, to bring more to show me from the back. My family has been ordering take-out and dining in at Penang for at least 10 years now and they've always been super accommodating and knowledgeable of my gluten intolerance, modifying dishes for me, etc. Thanks so much, guys, you know it means a lot to me! My go tos are curry prawns, Thai chicken or tofu, House Special Fried Rice, and Mixed Vegetables, but I'm excited that there's so much on the GF menu to choose from now.”
