When I went to the Fort Langley location I had their gold digger drink, I was very impressed with all the flavour combinations! I tried their monkey business muffin and keep trying to go back for another! The “cream cheese” was so satisfying for my hunger for real cream cheese.”

“My fiance and I had our first date at Ulis 4 years ago. The food was delicious, the service was amazing and the view is beautiful. So when our 4th anniversary came around we decided to have our first date all over again. We went to Ulis again for some delicious food. When our server asked us what our plans for the day was my fiance told him that we had come to Ulis on our first date and that it was our anniversary. Our server was absolutely amazing (I wish I could remember his name, but unfortunately I can’t) he went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely experience. He even brought us out some compliantly cheesecake for us to celebrate our anniversary. Our server had no idea that my fiance had plans on popping me the question that night. I would like to thank everyone at Ulis from the bottom of my heart for helping make our special day that much more special, memorable and for the amazing service and yummy food. If you are looking for a restaurant that has absolutely amazing service, delicious food, and a beautiful view you need to dine at Ulis. Highly recommend!”

The food quality was top notch. We had pakora and paneer Kathi rolls and my wife and I fell in love with them. The owners are very welcoming and made us feel relaxed and we did feel homely. Really loved every bite and every minute.”

We chose to sit outside and it was warm when it did get a little chilly we had blankets from the staff. Serving portions were amazing for their happy hour menu, and the beer is local red truck, which went down perfectly with what we were eating overall 11 out of 10.”

Loved the Indian fusion concept — the Aachari burger and peri peri paneer burger were packed with flavor. Even the noodle burger was so unique and delicious. The mango and Oreo KitKat shakes were rich and refreshing. Cozy ambiance, indoor games for family time, and a perfect location with a beautiful view. Highly recommend!”

“I have to write this yesterday March 8th went for a nice walk and then to moby dicks for the there famous fish and chips, service was a hit n miss, food was great, my wife ordered a cesar with NO tabasco in a sleeve, waitress left i could tell she seemed a little complexed. She then came back to clarify and voila she received her drink, well took a drink and could tell it was spicy and some people cannot take spices period, she did not want to say anything drank approx a third of it and put it aside, sorta mentioned something to the waitress, but nothing happened, we paid the bill the left and not soon after she started with gag reflex over and over and over to vomiting all over herself, now me on the other hand would have taken her back to the restaurant to show them but anyhow she asked me not to. She is a senior also, another gentleman complained to the waitress about his order that what he ordered was not what he received, Its a shame nowadays to go out and expect the service that one would receive at one time, then oh don't forget they also want minimum 15% tip for this, comon ???!! not very re-assuring!!”

“Growing up, we always preferred Moby Dicks. Today we thought to give Coney Island a shot as I’ve heard ownership changed at Moby’s years ago and it hasn’t been the same since.

No shade to Moby’s but Coney Island is surprisingly impressive. We bought one order of Cod from both Moby’s and Coney Island just to compare both.

Moby’s: seems like 1 large filet cut into 4. Batter is lighter but somehow significantly greasier. Oil just coats your fingers and drips all over the cardboard. Meat was mushy sadly. Honestly it’s always tasted this way and I just thought it was the norm.

Coney Island: one large filet, in a thicker batter but not greasy at all actually. It was cooked perfectly. Crust was way more satisfying, crunchy exterior but a bit soft and chewy inside. The meat wasn’t greasy at all actually, the cook took time to rest it in the basket before serving it, I think it truly made a big difference. The meat was cleaner tasting, more dense, not mushy at all. The batter-to-fish ratio was surprisingly way better than Moby’s.

Fries were solid.

Truly impressive. Fish n chips tend to sit in my stomach and make me feel nauseas. This one didn’t at all. Will recommend to others. Hopefully the owner doesn’t change a thing. Well done. Fair value. $22 for One piece combo is a good snack for 2. The best I’ve had.”

The fried potatoes were the best - not the little frozen McCains fried jobbies. My previous regular breakfast haunt, under new management, made the classic new owners mistake of changing the offering - namely the fried potatoes - game changer.”

“To this cafe for the first time. First impressions inside the cafe was unique, clean and comfortable to dine-in. The staff also very friendly and helpful. The cafe isn't spacious but full of customers. I have ordered their Ham sandwich and cappuccino, and it was so good. Bread, I chose the toasted wholewheat bread. I really like their coffee, have very bold taste and fresh. Price is considered on a higher side, but the quality of their food and drinks is worth it. Recommend to give them a try.

“Went to The Bund, February 12. Went for dinner. Sat on patio. Heaters kept us warm. Had pineapple chicken, Shanghai fried noodles, and beef and greens. It was all amazing. The couple who own it and run it, are beautiful. My new favorite restaurant.”

“We started off Remembrance Day 2025 at our favourite brunch spot, IHOP in South Surrey. We reached around 10:30 a.m. and had to wait about 15 minutes for a table, which was totally understandable since it was a stat holiday. Once seated, we began with some tea and coffee, and the service was friendly and quick.

The Tres Leches Pancakes were absolutely mind-blowing. Soft, sweet, and so satisfying.

We also tried the Country Fried Steak, which came smothered in sauce with buttered broccoli and two fluffy buttermilk pancakes on the side.

The Crispy Chicken Sandwich and Classic Chicken Sandwich with avocado and bacon were both excellent, crispy, juicy, and full of flavour.

The Jalapeño Kick Steak Burger was another hit with its spicy mix of sautéed jalapeños, serrano peppers, onions, and crispy bacon.

Overall, it was the perfect way to start the day. Great food, warm service, and the cozy IHOP atmosphere we always enjoy.”

Got the Gang KeoWan curry. Its well made, no complaints. Generous amounts of chicken. Highly recommended to pair with a bowl of coconut rice. They really don't skimp on the amount of coconut cream used. Though it costs $3.50, its still worth it. I think there's quite a lot of vegetarian options as well on the menu.”
