“We absolutely love Susie Cakes. Every cupcake and cake that we have gotten there have been so delicious. The chocolate flourless cupcake is probably my favorite, it is like biting into a chocolate pillow.Today we tried the candy cane cake, champagne cupcake and mimosa cupcake. The candy cane cake is chock full of candy cane pieces. The mimosa had a light orange flavor and the champagne cupcake had a very light flavor in the frosting.“

Customer service is great and the cupcakes...OMG...so good. Hard to choose a favorite. The one that caught my eye was the Boston Cream cupcake. I love Boston Cream anything so of course had to give that one a try along with a few others including red velvet, cookies & cream, chocolate and vanilla. I did not try it, but they also have a vegan cupcake which I'm now intrigued about. Highly recommend. Stop by if you are in the area.“

More of a classic panederia now vs the modern Mexican that was there before, but still very good. The new owners are definitely “mom and pop”, very hard working and very friendly. They didn’t have what I was looking for, which were the mini churros with dipping sauce for my office mates, so I tried a few other options and everyone seemed to love what I brought in. They gave me a card and said I can pre-order anything I wanted, including the mini churros sans dipping sauce as well as other mini versions of their regular pastries. Will definitely be back!“

It's probably best to go early in the the weekdays if you want your pan dulce fix because on weekends it can get really busy at peak hours. Nonetheless, this panadería is a must go if you're visiting el sereno and you want to satisfy your sweet tooth.“

“Sprinkles cupcakes will always be my favorite cupcake shop!!! The nostalgia of my UC San Diego days at their La Jolla location warms my heart every time I get a sprinkles cupcake. I've tried all the flavors and they don't disappoint. Sometimes they have too much buttercream frosting for the amount of cake but it clearly isn't a problem if I come back again and again. From the fact that they offer vegan and gluten free options to the specialty nostalgic flavors like circus animal cookie cupcake I can't get enough. Sometimes I go to the Americana just for sprinkles. It doesn't help that my doggie also loves their pupcakes. Adorable and the perfect doggie treat size!!!I know this Americana location has bad service reviews but you can't expect super speedy service when the Americana is always super busy no matter when you go. Needless to say I've never had an issue because I rarely wait in line and if there's more than one person in front of me I order from the self checkout window "cupcake ATM" machine in the back of the stall. Highly recommend this sprinkles location!!!“

I notified that they support local business, if you buy a pizza nearby (business on flyer) you’ll get a discount there at cold stone upon showing receipt.“

“On March 25,2023 it was my granddaughters sweet 16. We ordered a cake from a person that makes them out of her house. When we got the cake it had collapsed. The party was 4 hours away and we had no cake. I walked into this bakery and I explained what happened, it was a long shot who's gonna make a cake in such short notice. I asked the lady if she can please help me and she went to speak to her baker the baker came out the first thing that they both said was, this cake was done at someone's house, I agreed then the baker said I can have a duplicate of this one by 5 pm. Surprisingly he called me at 4 to pick up the cake. The cake looked way better than the first one and the taste was amazing very moist. All my guest enjoyed it. I am very grateful that we were able to have a much prettier and amazing cake. Thank you so much.“
