This is a memorable pizza place that you'll talk about for weeks and think about for the rest of the year. $6-8 per smallish 6 inch square slice -- two is typical. Tables for eating in are few and hard to get (waiting for a few hours is not unlikely). Lines are long for take out. Minimal street parking. Friendly and kind service. It was packed so I didn't look at everything they had, but they had plenty of good looking sweet stuff to ruin your Hollywood diet. I just grabbed snacks to take on my travels. I snagged a bag of melon pan and it looks and taste just like anime told me it would. Also got a couple steamed buns, sadly they were sold out of anko, but I got pork and curry. “What a delightful bakery and coffee shop! I stumbled upon this gem looking around Chinatown for some boba. Their drinks are on the steeper side but they are so good!! Even the cups are cute. I saved my cup after the boba cause the quality of it is so well made that I have to use it again. For 2 milk tea bobas it was $11.They specialize in custom cakes and had a few on display that were mind blowing. The Hello Kitty goth cake was next level.You can find baked treats, custards, mini cakes, and snow ice here ☺️?There’s some seating inside and along the window a few tables and chairs. The soft serve is a nice texture and it's very soft. The milk is a bit too sweet, in my opinion. And you can self serve on several toppings for the soft serve. The taiyaki is very good, just wish that it is a bit more crispy. They give a generous amount of filling inside the taiyaki. Inside is a small place. They only have a bench and a couple of stools. Overall, a great dessert place!“

It was a small little place with some seating outside. There is also a coffee shop next door if you want to grab some coffee to eat with your cake. “They only have take out but it's my go-to cake place. Their cakes are the Asian moderate sweetness instead of the overly sweet western desserts you usually find around the area. Tried a variety of theirs from strawberry shortcake to cream puffs to roll cakes to tiramisu to fruit tarted etc. and got to say I enjoyed all of them! Personal fav is definitely the apple tarte.“

Our box was filled with goodies and we enjoyed 95% of the delectable treats. Our box was filled by a sweet lady but the coffee crew weren't friendly. Not sure if there's one line for baked goods and one line for coffee or if anyone can help-- confusing in a small setting. “I used Pin Up Cakes for my wedding and loved how my cake turned out! Everything was done online and was super easy. I sent them inspiration pictures of what I wanted and for how many people. I wanted a smaller cake for just me, my husband and our wedding party as we were doing sheet cake for the guests. After sending the pictures, they gave me different options and broke it down by how much each would cost. I loved that they did that!Since I wanted a 2 tier cake, but it was only for 12 people, they gave me the option to make the top tier out of styrofoam to cut costs! They also gave me options on if I wanted them to make flowers out of fondant, or I could bring them flowers and they would put it on, or I could have my florist do it at the venue. This also helped cut cost.I ended up with a strawberry cake with chocolate frosting and it was so delicious! I’m not a big fondant person so I was worried I wasn’t going to like that part, but it was honestly so thin and not super sweet which I was very happy about.“

“The downtown location is surprisingly clean and their baked goods and pastries are fresh. They appear to have a regular clientele who stops in on their way to work or class. On the weekdays anyway. They probably sell through their products faster maintaining their freshness. This is a takeout only location. No seating at all. Grab and go. It's nearby several downtown hotels, Sheraton, Hilton, Hotel Per La, as well as several colleges. Staff is friendly and efficient. They keep the location clean and tidy. I have observed them handling difficult people, who are not customers, but who walk in off of the streets, with grace and kindness when the situation needs to be addressed. This is a small, but mighty location. People who work, live, go to school or visit downtown L.A. are lucky to have it as a choice among several Starbucks. Parking is a challenge. Metered street parking and a few parking garages are available.“

I went with the Sprinkle cupcake and at first I didn't realize I could only redeem my cupcake online so I had to place a pick-up order that apparently wasn't going to be ready for an hour. “My first experience with Lady M was last month when my SIL was visiting and stayed in Santa Monica. She went to the one on the west side and got me a slice of chocolate cake. Had never heard of them before. The cake was good and came in a fancy bag. It was very light and mousse like. Reminiscent of Phoenix Bakery or other Asian bakeries. Fast forward to yesterday when my bf and I were waiting to be notified of seating at CPK at the Arcadia mall so we walked around and stumbled upon Lady M. Decided to get the strawberry shortcake. It was $10 for a slice so pricey, we thought. It was good however and again reminded me of Asian baked goods.“
“Nice bakery. With a huge selection. This is a big location with plenty of seating. We got the coffee and mango cotta. The mango Cotta was delicious. It was velvety smooth and tasted just like mango. The fresh cut mango on top was a little tart. Bathrooms are available. They have both women's and men's bathroom. There was no line at the Women's but there was a long line for the men's bathroom. The seating area was busy, but there was still room for us to get a small table. It wasn't clean, but we had napkins to make a table cloth. There was no line when we arrived and got fast and professional service. Drinks were picked up at the bar area. There was a short wait for our drink.“
