Could have been 4 stars but docked off points because they don't speak English... they need to be more inclusive and hire bilingual staff. Even just 1 bilingual staff would suffice. This is Alhambra not China, and LA let alone CA let alone the US is the most (linguistically, racially, ethnically) diverse place in the world... you can't escape it here. Food was AWESOME. My table ordered the ChengDu Spicy Boiled Roast Duck, Salted Egg Yolk with Corn (this was bomb), Stir Fry Bamboo Shoot, and one other spicy item that I can’t recall. The portions were GREAT for the pricing, more than enough for 4 people to eat with some leftover for the next day. The fried yellow throat is highly recommended. The boiled beef is also very good. The pepper fish is okay. The roast duck has a lot of ingredients. Friends who like spicy food can give it a try, but it doesn’t require a big table.
