“Al Pancho's has been my favorite Mexican restaurant since we moved to Alpine. This a cute little place, plenty of seating inside and has an outdoor dining patio. The staff is very friendly and professional and the food is super yummy. They have been in business since we moved to Alpine in 2003 and I'm sure it was here long before us. It feels like a family run restaurant complete with the great service and tasty offerings only a labor of love a family could provide. So, if you're looking to dine at one of many Mexican restaurants we enjoy here in Alpine, this one tops my list, hands down! Our others in the same category are all excellent but this one is MY favorite“
“I would give 5 stars but I've only been here once. The service was great. The food was great. I even took some home to Yuma where I live. That's right I drove all the way from Yuma to try it out. I used to live in Santee and went to that Marieta's every week for 20 years. There is nothing that good in Yuma and I was really craving their food. They did not disappoint“
“The outside garden area is beautiful but the inside of the shop is a little outdated. The food was great, we tried their signature burrito, california fries, tacos and an orchata drink. Everything was really tasty, and made to order. The orchata was in a mixer machine and tasted home made.“
“Helpful staff and great tasting food. Don't worry about the fact that it is in a gas station, this place makes really good tasting Mexican food. My kids love their bean and cheese burritos and French fries. I'm a big fan of their carne asada burrito and their carne asada fries. My only complaint about the burrito is that the cheese is rarely melted when you ask them to add cheese. My wife really enjoyed their shrimp quesadilla. Don't go into this place expecting anything fancy as far as ambiance, but as a kid, we always found the best food at the dive shops, so enjoy.“
“Never thought I'd be driving out to Alpine for a Mexican food fix but here we are. And am I glad we did. Serving size is hefty AND the prices are affordable. Great bang for your buck. They have a self serve tortilla chip, salsa, and condiments station. Their tacos and burritos are all solid.“
