“Mixed meats Molcajete big enough for 2 or 3 people. Delicious! Margaritas are really good here!Parking: Extra parking in the back of building.Kid-friendliness: Waiter Victor is super funny and friendly. Just because of him I will definitely come back.“
“I had the green aguachile and the cóctel de camarón, it was amazing! Great taste, lemony how it should be! My husband had the enchiladas and he was also really happy. I was surprised the establishment doesn’t have better reviews, would recommend!“
“I only had the taco and enchilada Taco plate tamales are very good. Unfortunately they were out. Will have to try next time. The interior is very basic I really love the fireplace I want to return when it is actually going. I think that would be cool.“
“Huge portions, just straight up huge. I'm used to downtown san diego portions of a small tostada for 12$. Not here, for that same price a got a mountain of ceviche on top of an already full plate of ceviche. And the quality and flavor was fantastic too. The tostada does get a bit soggy under all that, but with a side of chips it was easy to deal with. Aguachiles were nice and spicy, the shrimps did have some icy bits as if they were still defrosting though. Despite all that the experience was still great. Service was very friendly and eager to suggest things once they knew it was my first time there.“
“We have been coming here for years. When I moved to another state and found out they didn't know how to make the Carne asada burrito? I panicked moved back to Ramona . Salsas we are hooked! Tortas, enchiladas and TACOS! ALL GREAT HERE! A must try for authentic Mexican and clean quiet environment!“
“Chicken tortilla soup... this location has the best I've had. and their chips and salsa are PERFECT. Their ribs are the best in Ramona with only one close competitor. While another local establishment has good ribs, we opt for Nuevo for overall appeal. Without doubt, they're fresh and made onsite. THAT is awesome! This spot is a cozy go-to for mid-level dining; a place you'd want to go when you want something nicer than takeout, but not too overpriced. Nuevo is perfect for that! Friendly staff, always clean and seating is almost always right away. If there is a wait, it isn't long.“
“This is a great place to stop for a quick bite to eat at the food counter and the tacos were bomb. One of the hosts at Milagro Vineyard recommended we stop here on the way out of town for Mexican food. The eating area is a food counter and one or two small card table size tables. So, if you need a full restaurant experience, cloth napkins, etc., good your food to go and enjoy a picnic. If you like sitting down at a casual food counter, stay and enjoy because you'll want seconds. So glad this place was recommended to us.“
“I've had street tacos from different establishments all over San Diego, these are on my favorite list. 1$ taco Tuesday street tacos- Carnitas from here hands down are my favorite! Every time I order through the drive thru the staff is always friendly and fairly fast, but most importantly consistently great food! Thank you guys“
“I visit Rubio’s here and there but I’ve only ever gotten the chicken street tacos.Came tonight and decided to try the Mexican street corn bowl and it was sooooo good! I got with grilled chicken and added grilled onions. Swapped out the cilantro lime sauce for sour cream and it was delicious! Great portion size and everything is nice and fresh. I’ll definitely be coming back to get it again! My only “complaint” about Rubio’s is they tend to be really slow however the employees are all friendly. If you haven’t tried their bowls yet, definitely do so!“
“First off let me say, this is a real decent Taco bell I'd give it a 5 had it not of been for location. It's on the end of town though in a small plaza, pretty dark there. Not a real good atmosphere at all.Food is as always has been, I mean it's taco bell, it's consistent.Seems a little pricey though for just a burrito supreme and a drink. I mean it's not the actual size of a burrito. Not much to it. Prices high all over though. If you use the drive thru you can get in pretty easy and there's never a wait. When I go back I'll probably do the same. It's definately not an in eat location but nice to have in Ramona.Parking: Very small parking lot shared between a handful of businesses.“
“My family and I have been coming to La Cocina for years! It’s always quality food with good service that we can count on. I typically go with the rolled tacos which are great but this most recent trip I got the shrimp burrito which I think is my favorite. It was fresh, filling, and fabulous! The beef flautas are also recommended. I look forward to my next time in Ramona where I can enjoy a meal at La Cocina!“
