“Best Mexican food in town!! Absolutely amazing service and food!! I have no complaints. Price wise, completely worth every penny. You pay for what you get for and it’s nothing but phenomenal service and food. Our Server was very attentive, and helpful. She made sure We NEVER had an empty drink and constantly checked in on us. Get the margarita flight!“
“I don't think it can be expressed with words how good the food is here. Every single time! never a bad experience. the fish taco with the hot sauce; I can eat that every single day and not get bored of it. and also, the family that runs the kitchen: you guys are awesome!! the mom in charge: you rock, and are always smiling, Thank You, please don't ever leave.“
“This is by far the best Mexican restaurant in the high desert, they actually topped the restaurants just down the hill. My only complaint is the fish. For a restaurant with food this good should never serve tilapia (a very bad for you fish) or swai (2nd worse fish for humans to consume). Those are bottom cheap fish for not so great restaurants. At least serve cod or snapper for the price. Other then that it is a wonderful restaurant.“
“Z Tacos provides fantastic taco experience, with carne asada tacos containing tender, expertly seasoned grilled steak and carnitas tacos featuring juicy, aromatic pig. Both are enhanced by fresh toppings and warm tortillas, making them a must-try for taco enthusiasts.“
“Best menudo in the high desert. Hand made tortillas the best! Also the chilaquiles verdes with carnitas are so delicious..!And the tacos de cabeza and tripa good. Not to mention the taco governador is super bomb! And the street quesabirias, so good..This place everything that we have try is so good!RAZ is actually my favorite restaurant!Keep up the awesome work.Thank you for your service..“

“I use to come and get tacos ; they are delicious don’t get me wrong but the POZOLE IS THE BEST !!!!!!!! I love it , very flavorful, lots of meat , that’s falls apart when you push your fork in, it’s so DAMN YUMMY ! The cashier ALEJANDRA IS SO NICE , She knows just what I want every time.“
“This place is so good! We got a mix of everything and it was all demolished. Not a single taco leftover. It's a (literal) hidden gem in the HD. We needed 50 tacos to go and they had it ready in 20 minutes and were nice enough to help us carry it out to the car.“
“THIS IS WHERE THE LOCALS GO!We've been coming here for dinner several times a month for almost 15 years. The margaritas specials every Saturday night can’t be beat, and they make a serious margarita! The food is consistently good and the service is great too. It's a comfortable, family run restaurant - unpretentious, clean, friendly, and consistently good.THE FOOD:ProTip: Ask for the secret off-menu potato taco - it is available most of the time and is just incredible! Trust me on this one. They are large and served with chef Juan's delicious special salsa that is perfect for the potato taco!! Our 15 year favorites on the menu are their fish and shrimp tacos, the fajita tostada (I get steak and chicken mixed), is my all time favorite. The Hubs loves the fish and shrimp tacos and the chicken quesadilla. Also, there's always something deliciously different about ranch dressing at a Mexican restaurant, and theirs is delicious! Try the shrimp salad and ask for the tails off... simple and yummy.Gina and Manuel, the owners, are usually on site and working hard to ensure their customers are happy. Their servers are all very kind and genuinely happy to have you there. The whole staff have all become like family to us, and it's clear that the other regulars feel the same way about them too. Chuey will greet you with a warm smile and bring your drinks with a basket of warm chips and a cup of their delicious salsa within minutes of you sitting down. Chuey is seriously the hardest working person I've ever seen - The man never slows down and does a great job of making sure everything is clean and ready for the next customer. If you happen to be there when Chuey sings happy birthday, it is a real treat! After your meal, order a "CANDY SHOT" - you won't be disappointed - they are handmade in several flavors and served in a pretty little glass - a wonderful ending to the meal.DONT SLEEP ON THE SUNDAY CHAMPAGNE BRUNCH! Do yourself a favor and go for their Sunday Champagne Brunch. First off.... Chuey won't let your champagne glass get less than half full, and you'll love the huge selection of delicious buffet options, including an omelete and waffle bar!!GREAT LOCAL EATS!!!Kid-friendliness: This is a family restaurant and kids are welcome. They frequently have large kid's sports dinners or celebrations on one side of the restaurant while leaving the other side open for dining guests.“
“We ordered the asada tacos the meat was tasty the homemade tortillas were delicious! The beans and rice were great. The ambiance is nice and comfortable. The day we went it was karaoke night so nice. I can't wait to go back! I highly recommend this place if you love authentic Mexican food. Our waitress was very helpful and courteous.“
“Good stuff! The servers go out of their way to make sure your food gets delivered promptly and done right. The atmosphere is cozy and clean, everyone is nice and welcoming... food is delicious and affordable... great experience each time I go there... I'm telling you the servers are on it!!! Customer satisfaction!“
“Delicious Sunday champagne brunch buffet. There are many items to choose from. The restaurant staff will serve the entree and items in this buffet. Soups, salad, dessert, and fruit juices are self service. There is menudo and posole during the weekends. I had a big bowl of menudo. It came with the beef feet in it which made it very tasty. The pata was cooked until tender and gelatinous. Definitely a textural contrast with the honeycomb tripe. The broth is rich tasting. The standard toppings are there so you can add according to taste. I had a plate of rice, beans, chile relleno, breakfast sausages, and carnitas. The chile relleno came recommended and I could see why. It was very flavorful with the cheese filling and came with a fluffy fried outer coating. One of the better chile rellenos I have ever had. Rice and beans were standard fare and adequate. The breakfast sausage appeared to be the Hormel precooked ones, deep fried until browned and will hit the spot for breakfast meat. Carnitas, on the other hand, were not good tasting. The cut seemed to be slices of dried out pork roast sliced in chunks, seasoned with unrecognizable spices, and slapped on your plate with a serving spoon. It is a definite no for me since I prefer carnitas seasoned just with salt water and fried in a vat of lard. Homemade tortillas made in house are always a plus. The desserts consisted of cut fruit, assorted cakes, flan, and chocolate dipped items. Desserts all landed in the adequate and serviceable category. Nothing outstanding here but all fine to satisfy the end of meal sweet tooth. We were a large party taking up two long tables in the back dining room where the buffet service is located. It will be very cramped in the back dining room so navigating your way to and from the buffet line will be challenging. Nevertheless, the buffet is a good deal for $26.95 and I would definitely return for another visit soon.“
“This is fast food, not a nice sit down restaurant, if you keep that in mind you will not be disappointed. The food is good, the service is pretty quick, good fresh salsa with a good variety. The price is about what you would expect for fast food as well. I have eaten here dozens of times with no complaints.“
“Wonderful first experience here at Amy's. The painted ceiling and fun decor is inviting. This was the best Suiza Enchilada I may have had yet. The salsa was perfect, we all loved it. My 18 month old was in heaven trying to drink it. Yeah, she's a spicy one! My husband ate his entire carne Asada burrito and I finished my plate as well. My daughter had part of a quesadillas and French fries. Rice and bean were amazing! I'm used to Puerto Rican red rice but when I have Mexican this is what I expect. Delicious! We ordered Cadillac margarita with sugar. They came with salt, she forgot but they were delicious and actually the salt wasn't over bearing for me. I avoid salt as often as possible. My second one she got perfect and she brought my little one so oranges which was sweet. Honestly, the service was outstanding and from the talk of a couple tables; the server, was picking up for the missing staff on a busy Thursday night. She did fantastic and though I could tell it was a bit hectic, she handled it like a superstar and treated us like family in our short stay.“
