“I went for my birthday dinner tonight with my three girlfriends and we were delighted! It was the first time for all of us and we were not disappointed. The service was great, the food presentation was top notch and delicious! We all agreed to come back regularly and make our way through the menu!“

“My wife and I went for dinner on Wednesday 5/15/24. We had visited Cambria and Hearst Castle earlier in the day. Both of us were famished. My wife ordered the Shrimp Carbonara and I the 14OZ Ribeye Steak. Lord… both were very good. We paired this with a Chronic Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon. Delicious. Staff is extremely friendly. The owner, Margarita Diaz opened and poured the wine for both my wife and I. Loved the place and we will be returning.“

“I had a great food experience at six test kitchen! Only thing I would say is the service wasn't up to par for such a restraunt as a michellin starred. But the food was absolutely amazing plating was superb and it was so much food and it honestly was a great time and I would highly recommend it to anyone! Was a great time and the wine paring was to die for!“

“This place wasn’t *that* revolutionary but there’s something for everyone and it was really good food for the price!! It is a lot of meat so perhaps don’t come here with a vegetarian. The sliders are bigger than average and picking just two items for $16 filled me up! I loved the burger I got (fig and chèvre) and the Brussels sprouts were yummy too.Service was also friendly and quick. It’s street parking so come early. We didn’t have any issues.“

“Valentine's Day dinner was excellent, 5 courses delivered by Daniel. It's a great little spot, tucked away in the lobby of the hotel. Honestly, the ONLY issue was a family sitting behind us with a 5-6 year old watching YouTube videos full blast. Not the end of the world and the staff very politely got that situation under control.“
“If you're in Paso and want to do some non pretentious wine tasting you must stop in at Broken Earth Winery. It's conveniently located just off the 101. We stopped in on a Friday afternoon on our way to Santa Barbara. We were greeted and seated right away. We did a tasting flight and ordered a pizza. If you're smart you'll ask to have Annie pour your tastings as she is so much fun to interact with. She also recommended another stop. Friendly relaxed vibe in a cool setting. We'll be back.“

“One of the best places on the Central Coast. This hidden gem is on the 41, between Downtown Atown and Morro Bay. This renovated garage/barn turn modern ranch chic is the home to a fresh/natural/modern culinary experience. Once you enter you are greeted and have menu's on a little table at the door. When you're ready, you go up and order. I ordered the Rock Burger (Beyond Meat and no Bacon), comes with fries, the Bahn Mi Tots and Beer Battered Onion Rings. The Rock Burger is what you want. Beautiful fluffy Brioche bun from Back Porch Bakery, Central coast creamery blue cheese bringing the funk/creamy/saltness to cut through the burger, the caramelized onions for sweetness, the fresh mixed greens for that earthy bite, and whole grain mustard sauce for a little more acidity. The fries are done to salty, crispy, yet soft inside perfection. The Beer battered onion rings are served the a beautiful house made ranch and bbq sauce. Cooked perfect, just wish there was more. And the Star of the show, Bahn Mi Tots. The mix of tots, fresh vegetables, creamy sauce, soft meets crunch, vinegar balanced by fatty creaminess of the sauce, gives you full Umami! Just an awesome concept, that works to the fullest! The power went out while we were there with our friends from out of town and instead of kicking us out, they brought over candles (which was made by someone dinning in at the time) and asked if we needed anything. This is truly a first class operation and am honored to say they are in my own backyard. We've introduced many to them and we'll introduce many more.*What happened to the CHEESE CURDS?*“
