“This place absolutely rocks. Really good specialty pizzas that they're willing to do half and half on without any fuss. Excellent serving staff that are kind, attentive, and if it's not too busy will actually have a short conversation with you. Personal favorites of mine here are the bacon and date pizza and the sausage. They also have a selection of beers, wines, and ciders. Their desserts are very decadent and I will be back if not for anything else for the desserts.Parking: It's like parking anywhere else in this town. Just find a place along the road. Leave your car there and go grab some grub.“

“My wife and I ate dinner at Pico. Our cocktails were both excellent. Using a clear ice cube would bring the quality up a notch however. All of the food we had was also very good and worth the price. In particular, the cauliflower appetizer was outstanding. The service on this night was lacking. I wonder if our waiter was new. He was clearly not knowledgeable/confident in his description of the food when reviewing the menu and specials. Courses did not come out correctly spaced. When we asked for the check, the waiter had to come back to ask us which glasses of wine we had previously ordered. Overall, I would return.“

“The good things about Norman's definitely outweighs the bad so I'll start with the good. Fabulous unique drinks. Presentation is top notch. The bar tenders are friendly and knowledgeable and make tasty beverages. The view is gorgeous. Bring a light jacket or sweater as it can get chilly outside in the evenings. The inside decor is tres chic and inviting. Makes us feel like staying awhile. About 90% of the clientele are young and trendy and it's enjoyable to watch the next generation enjoy life. Now for the bad. The star rating was a toss between ok (3) or great (5) so I decided to go in the middle with good (4). Let's start with the parking. Hotel guests stay at the top of the hill for convenience to their rooms understandably. But us being locals, there is no need for an over night stay, so parking for only food/drinks is at the bottom of a hill. It is quite a steep walk, but it's doable, just not in heels, and the "ride up" isn't always available. But I guess I DESERVE THE WALK to justify the margaritas I plan to have once I make it to the top. Now for the food. Sometimes the food is a hit or miss so we usually stick with what we are familiar with so we aren't let down. There are some vegetarian options offered so that is a plus. We know they can make great food as we've had it before so not sure what the issue is with the consistency of quality. I won't go into much detail because we truly like going there and don't want to harm business, but the one thing I will say is, what's up with that "cold pizza?" Flatbread Full of Life's is right down the street. All in all, it a great place to have in town, they just have a few kinks to iron out.“

“Worth a trip from...anywhere. I could taste individual ingredients as well as how they played together. The components were fresh and high quality, with perfect seasoning. Order at the counter and they bring the food to your communal table. The person who took our order was great. Be aware that food comes out when it's ready, not necessarily the same as your companions. Loved the butcher block paper menus. Just a gem.“

“For those of you who are needing a place to stay locally and visiting Solvang area, this is definitely a place to check out! Found this gem and was staying there a week and have to stay I love how it is located very conveniently off the 101 FWY, have lots of amenities on the property, and the staff go way above and beyond! Love also the fact that they have Sideways Lounge if you want to chill and have a brew as well and they have a nice food truck with homemade sausages. The location is also very strategic as it is just only 5 mins from Solvang and very close to other places like Ojai, Santa Maria, Santa Ynez, etc. I will definitely make this my go-to place!“
