“This is one of our favorite breakfast and lunch spots. My personal favorites are the breakfast quesadilla and the fried chicken salad. My husband’s favorite item is the mimosas.The staff are always super friendly and fast moving. We place orders for pickup now and then and they’re always on top of it. They can get very busy so you may need to wait for a seat sometimes, but it’s just because they are a local favorite.There is indoor seating but we love the back patio. There’s a large open “bowl”-type area, I’m not really sure what its purpose is, but my kids love running around in it. We also see people with their dogs back there pretty often. It’s nicely shaded and there is a large water fountain.To get to the bathrooms, you have to go outside and up the stairs, or there is also an elevator. Make sure you read the code off the A-frame chalkboard before going up.Parking: Parking can be rough. There are other businesses that share the building so it’s not open parking wherever you want. While there is a small, tight, parking area right up front in front of the main entrance, we always drive straight to the back of the lot, and come into The Nest from the back patio entrance. There’s usually better parking in the back.“

“Went tonight for the first time, super good. Prices look expensive but they are so big you really get two meals out of it if you are a normal person. Owners were very kind, food was fast, hot and absolutely delicious. I asked for BBQ sauce for my triple pig when it came out because usually pulled pork is a little dry at restaurants but after i actually started eating i didn’t use the sauce as i thought it was a disservice to how moist and flavorful the pork was. Will definitely be back!“

“One of the best places on the Central Coast. This hidden gem is on the 41, between Downtown Atown and Morro Bay. This renovated garage/barn turn modern ranch chic is the home to a fresh/natural/modern culinary experience. Once you enter you are greeted and have menu's on a little table at the door. When you're ready, you go up and order. I ordered the Rock Burger (Beyond Meat and no Bacon), comes with fries, the Bahn Mi Tots and Beer Battered Onion Rings. The Rock Burger is what you want. Beautiful fluffy Brioche bun from Back Porch Bakery, Central coast creamery blue cheese bringing the funk/creamy/saltness to cut through the burger, the caramelized onions for sweetness, the fresh mixed greens for that earthy bite, and whole grain mustard sauce for a little more acidity. The fries are done to salty, crispy, yet soft inside perfection. The Beer battered onion rings are served the a beautiful house made ranch and bbq sauce. Cooked perfect, just wish there was more. And the Star of the show, Bahn Mi Tots. The mix of tots, fresh vegetables, creamy sauce, soft meets crunch, vinegar balanced by fatty creaminess of the sauce, gives you full Umami! Just an awesome concept, that works to the fullest! The power went out while we were there with our friends from out of town and instead of kicking us out, they brought over candles (which was made by someone dinning in at the time) and asked if we needed anything. This is truly a first class operation and am honored to say they are in my own backyard. We've introduced many to them and we'll introduce many more.*What happened to the CHEESE CURDS?*“

“Great spot in Atascadero. They are fairly new and took over the old Burrito Express location. Though they have the same menu I was told they are not affiliated. Ordering through their web site or app "from the restaurant" is super easy. I had a chile relleno burrito and it was delicious! Came back two weeks later for another. This time I also ordered a carnitas burrito for my Gramma. She loved it. Not too many places in the north county to rave about when it comes to Mexican food but this place has not disappointed. Another important thing is the prices. Very reasonable!! I have paid much more for much worse. Staff is friendly. Inside the restaurant is a big space for dining and attached they have a banquet room that can be rented for parties! Congratulations to the new owners I wish you much success! Can't wait to come back and try another dish.“

“Such a cute place old pictures of Atascadero & Movie Stars very cozy. The food is so good there too I highly recommend this place. It cost 40 bucks for breakfast they give you plenty of food. I have enough leftover for breakfast tomorrow too. The staff is really friendly & they come check on you several times to see if you need more coffee or anything else.Parking: There is plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible right in front of the restaurant several handicap spots.“

“Classic Mexican fare, tasty and generous, nice flavors— we had fish tacos, enchiladas and tamales. Huge sodas and lots of chips & salsa. Interior looks like it’s been there forever, a much-loved local spot. We were happy with both food and service.Dietary restrictions: A corn allergy was nicely accommodated by the chef who substituted a flour tortilla on an enchilada— and it was delicious.“

“Had the the Chorizo omelette and it was delicious. The hashbrowns were the best I've ever had. It tasted like they were fried in butter. The service was really good the only downside was that there seemed to be a black spec or two in my drinks, could have been a piece of pepper mixed in on accident. Other than that great service.“

“When I lived in Atascadero, Hush Harbor was the place to go to get the best croissants in the county. The Black Forest ham croissant in the morning sold out quick. If you're fortunate enough to get one, you'll love it! A croissant that is flaky beyond comparison. I've lived in Central Oregon for 4 + years and have not found a better croissant than those at Hush Harbor. The quiche offerings are quite tasty too!“

“Came up here to relax before the Winter wonderland started. They were super friendly and welcoming and the dogs were super sweet. Super comfortable tasting room, nice wines at good prices. “It's been awhile since we have been to this cider house! This was our go to place in the area until other cider houses opened with outdoor spaces! Given we were staying nearby by, we popped in for a drink or two! And I am glad we did! This cider house has really developed since we've been here last! If you like traditional British cider, then this is your place! If you fancy sweet cider like ACE, then you make want to skip this place! This place offers really dry ciders! Typical of what you will find in the UK! So the name of this cider house is appropriate! The cider are also strong: ciders range from 7-11 percent! Yes 11 percent: that's a good punch for a cider! All the ciders were great! We appreciate the bartender in letting us sample the ciders before getting our pints! The cider house also features music! During music nights the place fills up: so get there early for a good seat! The couch is super comfy! In summary: definitely worth the stop if you like dry cider!“

“Me and my sister went for lunch and it was amazing we got the spicy edamame, salmon appetizer, big baller roll, and one I can’t remember the name but it had spicy tuna and scallop inside with ono on top. Honestly the best sushi I’ve had in the area in a long time. The service is amazing and everyone was very polite and nice. 1000% recommend!!!!!“

“When I go to a gym, I prefer a low-frills, clean, pleasant, and functional facility. I'm unimpressed by juice bars and fanciness. Same goes for breweries since I'm there for great beer. Tent City Beer Co. has outstanding beers, indoor/outdoor seating, friendly and efficient bartender, without the frills. No big screens, music pounding, or fancy furnishings. This I like and I'll definitely be back! Thank you Tent City for keeping it real. Tip: parking in the back and use the back door to enter.“

“Great place! They were open after kids' baseball games without the shame of "arriving too late for the kitchen." We were greeted with smiles and positivity. Our server Courtney was absolutely delightful! She was pleasant, kind, effective, punctual, and just a downright asset to the service industry. We thoroughly enjoyed our family dinner. “Thai Elephant Morro Bay a locals favorite! Food is always PHENOMENAL! Great authentic flavors, with fresh ingredients. The restaurant is small, most clients use the takeout service. For those eating at the restaurant location please take note that there is not much space between tables. Wonderful eatery!“

“The shrimp fajitas were on special and were absolutely phenomenal. The service was excellent. Our fully attentive waitress brought us three baskets of chips, and she never let a drink go dry. I had to comment to my wife how we never see service like that many places these days.Kid-friendliness: They offered a high chair but gave us a booth and we didn't need it. They were pleasant towards our daughter.“

“I love the customer service here. The ambience is pretty traditional and plain but they do have seating both inside and outside. The process to purchase is quick and easy especially to go orders. The food is always delicious and the soup is always very hot. I requested extra meat and it was very affordable. This was my second time dining and I really enjoyed it. Thank you.“

“Our favorite place for Mexican food! Great staff who helped explain the menu. We ordered and paid then ate in their dining. Great complimentary chips with various salsas to choose from all excellent. Dining area is roomy and clean. Portions are generous and pricing is great. You can choose combinations plates or ala cart. “I really enjoy Toshi! We have visited several times and each time, our food is very good and always cooked quickly. The Ramen is so flavorful, with lots of chicken, noodles, egg and veggies. One bowl easily feeds two people! We also love their cheese bombs, which are just cream cheese and crab meat in a wonton with sauce! So good! All the rolls we have ordered so far are made well, great flavor, and good size portions. I especially love the Paso roll! That's my favorite!“

“This is a cozy artist style café with fresh baked items and full coffee bar. They also have a breakfast and lunch menu available. - I ordered the chai tea latte with almond mylk. I t was yummy & I really appreciated the affordable pricing, the art that was displayed, and the welcoming staff. - The space looked a little bit sparse as far as pastries were concerned. I would love a few more vegan options.“

The Country Touch Café was selected from Yelp reviews and the meal did not disappoint. There were four of us and everyone reported they enjoyed the good foodI ordered the Cowboy Omelet with hash browns and sourdough toast for $16.50. Folded into the middle was a large portion of Ham, Sausage, Bacon and melted American Cheese. The plate was then smothered with a thick Country Gravy. That was a 5 Star meal right there. One of my friends stated that he always orders the Chile Verde when he goes to a new place. That is the yardstick he measures them by. He gave this place 4.5 out of 5. 5 Stars for the food and a half point off for the toast being a bit late. Hey, he likes his toast...Still that small inconvenience was not enough to mar the experience. If in the neighborhood again I will go back again.“

“This place is good. It's not super authentic, the burritos are stuffed with a rice mixture that's not my husbands favorite and their chips are nothing special, but for the price it's decent. The servers are usually friendly and helpful, ambiance is nothing special but their new building is nice!“

It didn't taste sickening sweet like syrupy pie filling from a can... it tasted like my homemade peach pie with my homegrown peaches.The restaurant looks like a 1950's diner, with chrome legs on the tables & red vinyl upholstery. They also have booth seating. “Very very very good tacos! Had two asada and one pastor. They were very good size and the flavor was on point. No grisly pieces of carne and just the right amount of heat. Ingredients were fresh and I really liked the way they cut their onions rather than dicing. Tasted like I was at a friends house eating his mom’s homemade food they were that good. 10/10. Guillermo even offered me a glass of water after ordering. Now that’s service!“

“My husband and I stopped here for breakfast on the way home from SLO. It's a small place, not far from the Charles Paddock Zoo. It was early but there were already guests enjoying the breakfast burritos. We each ordered the breakfast plates. His with chorizo, and mine with ham. ($13.99) The meal included eggs, rice & beans, a small salad, and three tortillas. Delicious salsa, onions, cilantro, and cheese were sprinkled nicely across the meal. We were both amazed at how delicious everything was. Very fresh and authentic. There was more food than either of us could eat, but we both agreed it was worth taking what remained home. The establishment was clean and the service was wonderful. If you are passing through this area, we highly recommend you stop in for a quick delicious meal. Sorry for not taking pictures. “Holy wow I have so many positive things to say. First off. The flavor of all of the food! I got the vegetarian/vegan sampler plate #1. It came with hummus, grilled veggies, pita,4 falafel, 4 dolmas, and tabouli. The falafel was herbacious, moist, and soo crunchy. My mouth actually watered from how flavorful it was. There was sweet and tangy from the dolmas, smoky from the veggies, fresh from the tabouli. Best part is this whole meal is less than 20 bucks! Will definitely be coming back!“

“Took my friend here for her birthday. To start off, the service was great! The host was nice, and the servers were very attentive to everything we needed.The food was AMAZING! There were so many delicious items on the menu it was hard to make a choice. I had a hot sizzling stone bowl with beef. It had beautifully crisp veggies, the meat was well marinated and tender, and it came with a bunch of sides. I also ordered a couple of sushi rolls. I got the sushi pizza and the popcorn lobster. The sushi pizza was SO GOOD! It had this crispy rice thing on the bottom which complimented the toppings nicely. The popcorn lobster was also really good. The little popcorn lobster bits on top were perfectly crunchy and crispy.At the end of our meal, the servers brought my friend a free ice cream with a candle for her birthday. It was decorated, and they sang to her! So glad we came here. It was such a great experience!Vegetarian options: They were very accommodating to my friend’s dietary needs. They recommended lots of vegetarian options, and informed us that a decent amount of the menu can be altered to be vegetarian. We ended up with a Greenland roll, a power veggie roll, and a tofu hot sizzling stone bowl. They were absolutely delicious!“
