“Food was good. Prices were outrageous for the Portions . Easily can be around 30-35$ per person for burger, fries, and a drink. Good food though just the price is not justified, especially with the size portion burger was smaller and similar to In-N-Out sizes.“

“Am I in Bakersfield? This place is sure to wow! Walked in to a dark, intimate little bar on an alley corner. We got much more than expected. The bartenders were friendly and quick to recommend a drink based on our preferences. We all had the "Ultimo hombre." The drink was tasty, fresh and had the perfect amount of spicy, if you're into that sort of thing. The decor is quirky and fun! Stop in for a quick drink before dinner or a concert!“
“I believe it's a damn good sign if 30 minutes prior to opening there are many cars outside waiting. The hubby and I found ourselves among at least 6 cars of people waiting to eat the infamous Chef Lino's delicious food. I had been hearing about the great food at the hole in the wall bar for many years. I decided to finally give it a try. I've been to the Pour House on a Saturday night and watched live bands play but this was the first time trying the food. I got the Chicken, Swiss and Avocado burger and the hubby went with the Cuban Sandwich. Everything was delicious and I will definitely come back and try the Philly cheesesteak sandwich.“

The vibe and atmosphere reminded me of a bar I love in San Francisco. Drinks were great and the food was delicious. Glad Bakersfield has a bar and restaurant like this. “I always come specifically for the bartender Sheila Winchester! She is the most attentive, sweetest, cutest bartender you are going to find in Bakersfield. They have cornhole, AMI, and a patio for chillen. Drinks are cheap here… Like the cheapest. This bar is better than The Highland Cafe, Longbranch and the train bar if you are searching for a cool spot. It’s old so don’t expect too much.“

“I had a really good experience at Buena Vida. The food was so delicious and it came out in good time. The staff were all friendly and helpful and its a nice roomy area with plenty of seating. We got the chicken taquitos and the Aguachile de Ribeye. Great flavors. On the pricier side, but worth it.“

“Grenadier is a hole in the wall bar in East Bakersfield. I have had mostly great experiences here especially when Ashley is bartending. She is very attentive, personable, and makes the best drinks. They have a jukebox that has a wide range of music and even a app that you can use on your phone. The crowd has always been different every time I've gone and it's always pleasant. I'm only giving 4 stars because times I have gone when "Irene" was bartending it was a terrible experience. Irene neglected people at the bar so she could play pool with her friends when she noticeable saw several people had empty glasses/bottles. I will never go to Grenadier if Irene is working....all the other bartenders are great!“
“I've never had a bad time coming here. Ever. I've been coming here for years. Well, off and on through the years. Played 1000's of Pool games here. Danced more than a few nights away. The Bellvedere is a good old neighborhood bar. Great live music, pool and dancing. I would recommend this place to everyone or most everyone. “

The music is live after 6 pm and is attention grabbing .This restaurant is family oriented and is amazing for group celebrations. My cohort and I came to celebrate our graduation.We had a wonderful time chatting about life after school. We ordered a round of drinks and the drinks came out quickly . I also ordered a chicken salad , it took a bit of time coming out , but was beautifully plated nonetheless. We had a fun time here and we're excited to visit again.“
“Long Branch is pretty mellow nowadays. They remodeled a couple years ago and it's looks great. Very comfortable atmosphere, bartenders are attentive and call you by your name. It's very eñjoyable. Go check it out for yourself. Try their homemade soup while your there!!!“
“First time at this place. Curious to try a restaurant that is part of the 'Blue Zone Project'. Tried the Oaxacan mole, grilled cauliflower, and Mango Haus fish taco. It's really tasty, and the portion is just enough. The cafe de olla and mojito are also really good. The best part is I didn't feel stuffed or bloated after lunch!Plus point for nice decor.“
