“Today was our first time here and we absolutely had a great experience overall. Food was delicious and full of flavor. The service was on point (server was Angelica). I ordered the Pastrami Burger and my wife got the Monterey Chicken Club. Both were very good, and the fries were really good as well (lightly battered and seasoned). We also got the mimosa flight, which was really nice and a good deal for $25. Our server was genuinely nice (not the over the top, fake friendliness), and checked on us regularly. I 100% recommend this locally owned/family owned restaurant.“

I’ve witnessed first hand the equally amazing service and respect their staff provides. As gay couple I haven’t experienced such respect in a Bakersfield restaurant before. It felt like every waiter was checking on our table to ensure we were ok. The prices were great for the large portions and our drinks were made perfect. I had a $10 Philly Cheesesteak which was much much better than $22 7 inch crappy overpriced sandwich from pink lunch truck SIZZLIN BUNS on Rosedale food court. I went with my family to carousel and we spent around $32 plus a banana split. Customer service was kind and attentive even though busy. will recommend will go back! Thank you“
“Very quaint and elegant to eat in Bakersfield. I ordered the filet minion with butter garlic and parmesan. Mmmmmmm. It had su h great flavor in every bite. Vegetables were cooked to perfection and the mashed potatoes were whipped and prepared with an excellent blend of seasoning. Very small area for a golf course country club but nice e and quiet. Use to be for members only but they are open to the public. Has a dress code but still can be casual. Service was excellent. Enjoyed the conversation. Definitely a place to dine for a special date.“
“We had a reservation for a table of 8 at 5:30 on a Saturday night. We were promptly seated upon our arrival. They were immediately there for our drink menu and appetizers. We were let know that it was our table for the evening if we wanted. From the drinks to the acoustic assemble to Johnny Owens the night was fantastic. We danced, had cocktails and a great dinner with not a single disappointment. I highly recommend this place if your in Bakersfield. Hard to find a good dinner and entertainment. Not only that it was the wholesome family experience. We are older but enjoyed seeing everyone participating. Will definitely go back.“

“Bucko's has been a spot my family would go to frequently years ago and only recently did I start coming back. The food tastes exactly the same, the burgers are juicy and cheesey, the fries are generously seasoned. The food comes out pretty quick too which makes it great for lunch breaks.Highly recommended. It is way overpriced at $18 but nevertheless it was good, just not worth $18.My friend ordered the sliders, and he said they were very good. “We started off with the mushrooms, which were really good. The crust on the mushrooms was nice and crispy, and the dipping sauce was perfect. I had the pecan crested halibut tacos, and my husband had a Hudson Burger. I thought the flavor on the Hallett. Tacos was delicious in complimented by the till the wine sauce. The garlic aioli is so tasty and it is a well balanced dish. I have tried multiple menu items here and have never been disappointed. With everything being made in house, you can taste the quality. “Well, now that I moved back to Bakersfield, decided to give them another try for happy hour and man was I happy that I did stop by. Was very pleased with my visit today. Came by at 3pm and sat at the bar where the friendly bartender let us know that on Tuesdays, it's happy hour all day. They have some really good deals there for $5 plates of food and good prices on beer/drinks. They have a happy hour menu, daily specials menu and the regular menu so make sure to check them all out. We decided to go with the $5 nachos and the $5 birra tacos and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT. It was so good! Would have to rate both dishes a 10/10 as flavor and quality were both GREAT. Got a $5 amber beer on draft as well that paired very well with my food. Overall, I can't wait to come back again and try more things. Thanks Camino for a yummy lunch today, till next time.“

Drink order was taken and served BUT no one ever came back to refill the water or see if we wanted another drink. We had to track down a waiter to take our meal order order. The food was very good. No one ever came back to see if we needed anything else AND we like many tables had to bus our own table at the end of the meal. We had to go to the bar to ask for our checks. When the person at the bar said, I will find your waiter, I said you were our waiter. It was a fun night with the bands but with the horrible meal service, I question whether I would return.“

“So many delicious options to choose from. This is my go to when I want to go breakfast with someone. I have never got a bad meal here. It's been delicious every time. Their pancakes bomb, sea food omelette bomb, biscuits and gravy bomb! I love that they have healthy options too. They have an option to get Ezekiel bread for your toast, they have sugar free syrup, and Himalayan pinks salt for those that care about that like me. My favorite there are the omelettes and their potato's are delicious! There's so much to to choose from. You'll walk away satisfied for sure, and the waitresses and waiters are always so kind and so such a wonderful job. It has a local restaurant diner feel but with high quality food and ingredients. 5 stars!“
