My son and I drove up to Barstow from Victorville to go to this specific Del Taco. This was the second Del Taco ever built, and they had the "classic" menu of things that are no longer sold elsewhere. We had the Bun Taco, and it was really good. The only complaint I had was that the prices were higher there than at any Del Taco I've ever been to and my Taco wasn't hot.
Ed Hackbarth Original Owner still works at 90 such an ethical business man and a great human being.So you want to know the secret sauce it’s him. His warm welcome beautiful soul of a man, greets all his clients. You will see the difference in the portion sizes and presentations of your meals here, fresh food and large portions.Must stop in and get a warm welcome from him, and a great meal.Thank you Ed wish more owners were like you.

So good! Just like I remember as a kid. Had a fish taco, a Barstow taco and a green burrito. Got 2 Bun Tacos to take home. All were perfect and delicious. Staff is friendly and the place is clean. Staff cares about the place. My only gripe is it doesn’t have outside seating but the location outside isn’t very appealing. They have Coke Zero on tap and cherry coke too!!!Parking: Limited but parking on the street.
