“Make a note that this location is an "Original" Del Taco. Aesthetically the building may look like your everyday run of the mill Del Taco, But I promise it's not. The original owners still own this and a few other locations and the ingredients and flavor are pretty much unchanged from the corporate cost (flavor) cutting model that's so prevalent in today's food marketplace. I ordered the original Barstow taco's and honestly not another QSR can hold a candle to the portion and flavor of these taco's. Packed full of meat (predominant ingredient) with lettuce, cheese, and a tomato slice on top, these tacos were truly flavorful and filling.The location was busy for Monday lunch, but the staff were cranking out orders and running like a well oiled machine. I waited no longer than 5min for my order to be handed to me.I look forward to visiting again!“
“So good! Just like I remember as a kid. Had a fish taco, a Barstow taco and a green burrito. Got 2 Bun Tacos to take home. All were perfect and delicious. Staff is friendly and the place is clean. Staff cares about the place. My only gripe is it doesn’t have outside seating but the location outside isn’t very appealing. They have Coke Zero on tap and cherry coke too!!!Parking: Limited but parking on the street.“
“It was super cool to experience one of the 3 ORIGINAL Del Tacos in Barstow, CA! I'd highly recommend stopping in and trying their classic Del Taco and carnitas burrito. Everything from the service, order accuracy, speed, and ingredient quality was top tier.The Barstow Del Taco locations are clearly different from any others around the country - and that's because the original owner, Ed Hackbarth, and his family still own and operate these locations to this day. These locations have items and offerings that no other Del Tacos have like their signature "Bun Taco". The Taco meat isn't soupy and mushy like Taco Bell or Jack in the Box. They clearly used real ground beef, chicken, and pork.“
“Last year I made a disparaging review of a Burger King in Lancaster California. It was well deserved. However yesterday while traveling through Barstow California I once again stopped at a Burger King on Main Street in that town. What a difference. The place was immaculate, the service was outstanding and the food was exceptional. If you're traveling I-40 through Barstow California do give it a try. You won't be sorry!“
“I live in a town without a raising Cane's, but was introduced to them a couple of years ago while on a trip to New Orleans. When it comes to chicken tenders, I don't know if another fast food joint that does it better than raising Cane's. So why the 4 star rating you ask? On this trip, there was something off slightly. I think the dipping sauce was missing the light spicy kick that I'd experienced in New Orleans and while good, it was not amazing this time. Would I return, absolutely. However, the sauce needs just a bit more spice to have me return whenever I can possibly get there. Also, while not bad, I was disappointed in the lemonade. It was fine, but felt a little watered down, especially compared to Wendy's all natural lemonade, this didn't even compare. Anyway, so far my experience is in New Orleans, Raising Cane's is a must visit...in Barstow California... You don't need to avoid it, but probably don't need to go clear out of your way to get it either. Solid 4 star restaurant, but can improve in subtle ways still.“
“The food was delicious. The burger cooked perfectly. The fries perfect crispness. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. The service was great, we were greeted as soon as we entered. We had never been there before; the helpful order taker was super patient explaining to us the items we had questions about. We will definitely go there again.“
“We stopped by chance because my eyes were watering a lot and I couldn't drive anymore. Food OK, deserves 5 stars within the fast-food proposal. For those from Brazil, it is an alternative that we cannot find in our country. Lots of manual workers nearby, which is great to get a feel for the local atmosphere.Parking: The classic fast-food parking lot: lots of open spaces.“
“Staff is extremely friendly, the food was amazing, however, the atmosphere was slightly trashy. Would recommend the double western burger. Pink lemonade was amazing with just the right amount of sweetness. If it weren’t for the atmosphere, the place would’ve been outstanding.“
“Today I had set meals no.1 and no.8, which were beef noodles and fried chicken bento respectively. They were very delicious. In this place where there are not many Asian restaurants, they were really good! There are also some Asian snacks available for purchase, highly recommended!“
“Food was ok but everytime i get a breakfast sandwich the eggs are just a little under cookedbto where sometimes you can see the yellow from the yolk but its not runny. It's just right there. Another 2min they would be perfect. Also one of the main reasons i don't like this location is going thru the drive thru you have to yell and they never fully here what your saying so you always have to repeat it most of the time. Overall it's ok better when you go inside and eat.“
“Ok let’s be honest, fast food is just food that is fast. Food wasn’t half bad. Mac and cheese bites were pretty shocking. Pretty solid snack for the drive. Fries were actually perfect. Service is what made me give it 4 stars. Staff very friendly and watched them deal with fussy people with patience of a saint.“

“This flying J has been a frequent stop when camping/RVing in the surrounding desert. We have used it for their clean and well organized store as well as for their RV dump station and fresh water fill up. The dump station is clean and offers an automated payment system ($10 at the time of this post). No hassle and easy to use. Will continue coming here when in the area.“
“This is right next to a McDonald's, and the burgers are much better. However, I have to say, the restaurant is a bit older, and it needs updating. It gives you a feeling of not being as clean as you would like. The bathrooms are also not great. This all makes for a cautious first impression. That said, there are good-sized tables inside. We appreciated that because we had some planning we were doing and needed room to spread out. The food was very good. We just had burgers and fries, but the burgers were charcoal cooked, and you could really taste the difference compared to frying on a flat top. The fries were also very good, and they provided a huge portion. We could not finish everything. They also have a drive-thru window if you need to grab your food and go. Overall, I would select them over the other fast food options available.“
“This Jersey Mike's is awesome! Came in 30 minutes before closing while the staff was beginning to clean and they were not grumpy at all! They were so cheerful and polite and happy to get me and my two friends anything we needed. When my two friends upgraded their sandwich order from Regular to Giant they were only to happy to adjust on the fly. It's like if Chick-Fil-A staffed a sandwich shop. Wish all of my fast food orders were like this. Thank you!“

“Subway is our "go to" road food. This one is inside a Pilot. The gas prices were reasonable and restrooms were clean.We arrived at noon on 9/17/23 and were warmly greeted at Subway. I should have gotten her name because she was a sweetie. We chatted while she made my sandwich and it was clear that she took pride in preparing good food and keeping everything clean. We put extra in the tip jar for creating a good customer experience.“
