We like to stop here on our way ftom Vegas to California. Usually not extremely busy and food and service are good. They offer a wide variety of food options. We had breakfast on this day. It's a staple of Barstow located next to McDonald's.Parking: Plenty
I just enjoyed a cheeseburger combo here. I got tired of all other fast food restaurants serving the food warm, instead of hot, hard or old fries, getting orders wrong and to add salt to injury, D.T. is serving food in trays allowing the food to get cold fast. No other restaurant makes burgers and fries like Tom's. I enjoyed this combo for the following reasons: 1. Lot's of lightly crisp soft fries with the right amount of salt. 2. This is right next to a McDonald's, and the burgers are much better. However, I have to say, the restaurant is a bit older, and it needs updating. It gives you a feeling of not being as clean as you would like. The bathrooms are also not great. This all makes for a cautious first impression. That said, there are good-sized tables inside.
