“Last year I made a disparaging review of a Burger King in Lancaster California. It was well deserved. However yesterday while traveling through Barstow California I once again stopped at a Burger King on Main Street in that town. What a difference. The place was immaculate, the service was outstanding and the food was exceptional. If you're traveling I-40 through Barstow California do give it a try. You won't be sorry!“
“The PitStop has really changed for the better. The atmosphere is great and the food is tasty. I like the green chile quesadilla, yum! Just don’t get in a hurry and eventually someone will come by and take your order. Pro Tip: order 2 beers at a time so you don’t have to wait 20 minutes for the second one.“
“Angelenos and the World should be so grateful that Tommy's put a Los Angeles right of passage out here in Barstow. Always good to stop here on the way to Vegas. It's one of the nicer locations of the newer built Tommy's. Super Clean and a great Tommy's experience.“

“Wow!! Really great burger spot!! Best in town for sure! It has your typical Douglas or Tam's burger flavor and ingredients, but very well made. The buns weren't soggy or stale. Perfect portions on the burgers they weren't sloppy. Delicious. My family loves In n' Out but I can't eat there too often I get tired of it. This is definitely my new spot. The prices are better than anything around. If you are pretty hungry and fat like me you will need the combo. I could have eaten 2 burgers easy. They are decent size though not small. Large menu. “Staff is extremely friendly, the food was amazing, however, the atmosphere was slightly trashy. Would recommend the double western burger. Pink lemonade was amazing with just the right amount of sweetness. If it weren’t for the atmosphere, the place would’ve been outstanding.“
“Today I stopped at Foster Freeze for lunch and I had the best lunch ever especially in Barstow California. The fries were cooked and seasoned to perfection. I am not exaggerating when I say that the fries were the best fries I have ever had in my whole life. The service was impeccable. “Food was ok but everytime i get a breakfast sandwich the eggs are just a little under cookedbto where sometimes you can see the yellow from the yolk but its not runny. It's just right there. Another 2min they would be perfect. Also one of the main reasons i don't like this location is going thru the drive thru you have to yell and they never fully here what your saying so you always have to repeat it most of the time. Overall it's ok better when you go inside and eat.“
“This is right next to a McDonald's, and the burgers are much better. However, I have to say, the restaurant is a bit older, and it needs updating. It gives you a feeling of not being as clean as you would like. The bathrooms are also not great. This all makes for a cautious first impression. That said, there are good-sized tables inside. We appreciated that because we had some planning we were doing and needed room to spread out. The food was very good. We just had burgers and fries, but the burgers were charcoal cooked, and you could really taste the difference compared to frying on a flat top. The fries were also very good, and they provided a huge portion. We could not finish everything. They also have a drive-thru window if you need to grab your food and go. Overall, I would select them over the other fast food options available.“
“I saw a tik tok about this place. The owner and her son work the place. They were super cool with the tok toker that passed through. The food images he posted looked good also. The fries, for example, looked really tastey. I haven't been that way in ages, but if i do go that direction i will make a point of stopping here. “This IHOP, in Barstow, CA. Is the best I've been to. The "Colorado omelet" with shredded "Beef Colorado," freshly diced veggies and cheese is simply amazing. Well made, plenty big enough and tastes great. The service is very good, even in the midst of all this virus scare and it's extremely clean. Wish the one where i live would take some lessons.“
