Wow! My albondigas soup was so good, and my husband liked his carnitas burrito so well that he picked up another one the next time he went through Barstow. Totally funky hole-in-the-wall place, but the food is great! Portions are generous.
Our entire family grew up eating here. It's always been one of my favorites. Now I bring my kids here to eat every time we pass through Barstow from AZ and Las Vegas. It's a definite stop! The food is great. The original family that owns it we grew up seeing every time my grandpa took us there as kids. Plata's is a piece of our childhood memories
