“The burrito was seriously so good and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The rice, beans, asada, sour cream, and all the other toppings went together perfectly. I really appreciated how they listened when I asked for no onions or anything I didn’t want. Everything was made exactly how I asked, and the asada was especially delicious. The environment was really nice and welcoming, and the service was amazing and friendly. Overall, it was top notch and definitely a burrito I would get again!“

“OMG 😳 The Ceviche (not counting my wife’s handmade ceviche) is the best I have ever tasted, and I’ve tasted a lot of ceviche. It’s soooo good. I had the Mango 🥭 Avocado 🥑 Shrimp 🍤 Ceviche it was like an explosion of flavors in my mouth, I couldn’t stop eating it. Great tacos 🌮 everything was beyond my expectations. I have probably walked by Puesto’s a hundred times but not anymore it will be my restaurant of choice when in Concord you have to try it. Sorry no picture of the Ceviche 😋“

“We just started going here on a whim and we've been twice now. Service and food are consistently very good. I appreciate the consistency. The shrimp tacos are excellent, their carnitas are almost as good as mine 😉, and we reeeeaaaly like the flavors of their salsas maybe a little more spice for my husband (he likes a sauce to punish him!). “My sister and I went in on a whim. We had no idea that we would leave so wholly satisfied, and we left feeling like we had been guests at an old friend's house for lunch. The authentic warmth of our server, who turned out to be the owner, and the amazingly prepared food combined with the thoughtful, modern decor left us looking forward to our next visit. The Posole Verde is the best I've ever had, Haurache Asada will out you into a joyous food coma, the Caldo Tlapeno is a go to anytime I need comfort food, and there are so much more here. “Quality at its finest! If you are in the area or even remotely close it's a must stop. Had the super taco with carne asada and medium salsa. Will be in area for a few days and this will be my lunch for every one of those days. The table also al pastor and birra taco plates and both were superior in flavor. Portions are amazing for a very affordable price. Staff is friendly and informative if you are not familiar with style of cooking. The restaurant is attached to the library in Pittsburg, dont let that fool you, walk through the door and experience the flavor.“

“Taqueria La Plaza is a neighborhood gem!

My husband and I love walking here for lunch: He usually gets a burrito and I go between enchiladas and a breakfast burrito (which is offered ALL DAY!). There are so many meat choices! They throw in a bowl of chips and unlimited access to their salsa bar. I also enjoy their aqua fresca or horchata on occasion.

You can eat indoors or outdoors (both covered and sunny tables), or take your food to go.“

“I came here because someone recommended it. The place was clean, and the food was good overall. It took about 20 minutes to get my burrito, which wasn’t a big issue, but it came uncut and with beans I didn’t order. The red salsa was really good.

The only downside was that the A/C wasn’t working, and it was very hot inside, which made it uncomfortable. Other than that, the food was good. I’d give this place another try.“

Since they reopened, they are closed on Monday’s, our usual day so it’s been 3 years since we’ve been there. They still recognized us though! “We had their burritos at a Convention in Antioch. Though they were severely over priced at $18 each, you expect to get ripped off at conventions. However, this was the most satisfying wallet molestation my son and I have ever experienced. (4 burritos and soda/water...$100). We can't even tell you what specifically makes them so good, just the perfect blends of all. We live an hour away but we are gonna try to find the restaurant and see if they are better priced than the truck. If so, we found our new spot when visiting the East Bay.“

“My wife and I get tacos here every Wednesday. Yes a day late but we can't help but love it. Ashley the hostess is absolutely wonderful. She is kind, knowledgeable and makes our experience special every time. This restaurant is family owned and operated and that is what makes it so great. “When I was new in my profession, I interned in the Acalane's school district, and ate here a lot because it was nearby. We used to have some staff, but now he's doing it all on his own. The chips are really good and the lime cilantro steak is always my go to. It's this humble establishment, but I really appreciate that nearly every time I come.He does something like offer me a free soda. Just because. Very kind guy that seems to appreciate his clientele.“

“It was our first time dining at Bar Camino and it won't be our last. Everything about it is excellent. The menu has a large selection ranging from appetizers to dessert. The service is excellent and friendly. There were four of us and we each enjoyed our choice of food. Three of us had the combination main meal. I had a cup of tortilla soup which was more the size of a bowl and I brought some of it home. My entree was the Chile Relano. The chile was crispy on the outside. I had never tasted a Chile Relano as good as this one. And, I have one at every Mexican restaurant where I dine. This was by far the best ever! The restaurant seating is comfortable. And, as I mentioned before, the service and servers are friendly, helpful and welcoming.“

I did like the burrito I had at Mecca I asked for chunky beef, rice (no beans) on a super... medium sized burrito. It was very large and 3/4 of it, would have been enough.
Came with bean dip,chips, and salsa.
Was tasty too.
The service was sweet and kind. I do want to go back there again. I might try something else.

“I drive to the Concord location from Antioch because I don’t feel safe walking dogs or running errands in Antioch. I tried several other restaurants for burritos before settling here. Great chili verde burritos, always hot, fresh, pinto beans upon request, really nice people. Cinco sells enchilada sauce for people like me who like to make a tray of enchiladas at home to eat for a couple of fays. Reasonably priced.“

Everything is all good, but some of the hostesses working at the register...attituuuude! I selected the alambres and a cheese quesadilla. Despite my considerable appetite, I was unable to consume the entire portion, which speaks to the generous serving sizes provided. The food preparation area was impeccably maintained, and the staff exhibited exceptional courtesy. The only minor inconvenience is the absence of a dedicated dining area, which necessitates consuming the meal within one's vehicle or at home.“
