“Came here for my lunch break today & was seated right away. Surprisingly, it wasn't super packed considering that it was lunch hours. We ordered French toast & Belgian waffles with the breakfast platter (eggs, bacon, & hash browns). Our server was very attentive. She took our order right away & the food came shortly after. Love her attentiveness! She brought water refills without us even asking for one. I've been here on multiple occasions and overall, I'd say I've had a positive experience each time. Definitely a great spot to come to for breakfast/lunch if you're craving for traditional American food. This is a family friendly establishment, so there will be times where you'll hear screaming children when you're just trying to enjoy your meal, lol.“

“I've had this place saved for probably over a year so when I had a meeting downtown it was my first stop when it ended. I ordered the vegetarian burrito and the vanilla bean coffee. Both were delicious! The sauce that comes with the burrito is a perfect touch. I'm a sauce person so I loved drizzling it on the burrito. I was a little nervous about the jalapeños but they weren't over powering. I've already been here twice and I'm sure I'll find any excuse to start my day with them moving forward.“

“I went with my friends to get breakfast. We had a good time and enjoyed the food. I love waffles and the one I had here was really good. I also loved the orange juice. It tasted freshly squished. My friend accidentally ordered something thinking it was one way but it turned out to be a different thing and they nicely replaced it. I will come back here. The chapo specials have a few type of meats they kind of compete with each-other and I would skip the chicken in that specific combination. The breakfast burrito was a HIT. Next time I want to try it with hash brown/refried beans. Everything else was good , will be back for sure . Service was good, not a Michelin starJoint but the price is right and it's definitely a neighborhood joint. “This is where we go for special occasions when we want solid Korean food, particularly savory soups. But that is not to say the other stuff on the menu is not worth trying. Some of the dishes deserve special recognition, because they are not typical (in my experience) or because they are exceptional. Not typical could include the Yeolmu Boribap, which is daikon radish greens mixed with barley rice and other ingredients. Very tasty and filling, even if I can't recall having it elsewhere. We really like it. Seasonal? Maybe. Exceptional could include the Doenjang soup/chigae, which we all agree is maybe the best we have tried in years. It is a treat. Many regard this dish, served elsewhere, as a pedestrian food, ordinary and a staple, but here it is elevated. The Chunggukjang is a more rustic version of the Doenjang soup/chigae, and it is very delicious. For the uninitiated, this is a stew made from something like (Japanese) natto, and it isn't great for a hot day, but rather, awesome for cold weather dining. Delicious, not for the delicate. In sum, this is a mom-and-pop style place, not some corporate chain, exactly the kind of place we like to support. People in the area who seek good homestyle Korean food will know this place and appreciate what they do here.“

I had the avocado toast and my wife had the smoked salmon toast.The presentation was phenomenal and the flavors blew my mind. “Crossroads is a nice little cafe with a great variety of sandwiches. My friends and I ordered sandwiches to-go and they were so yummy! I had the spicy chicken sandwich and loved it. It was a good spice level for me but may be a little bit spicy for some. Everyone else really enjoyed their sandwiches as well. Overall, it was a great meal and I will definitely be coming back to try more things in the future.“

“I came there for lunch one day while on recess from Jury Duty. It's one of the closer place's that are in the area. They do have a pretty big menu like a restaurant and food that's already there made like all cafeteria's, so you don't have to wait for your order to be made.“

“The wait wasn't too bad on a Saturday morning around 11AM (after a late morning hike). The server was nice, although notably a bit flustered as it was busy inside. I had an iced Rose Latte, which was delicious and not overwhelming. Both the Croque Madame and Croque Monsier dishes were flavorful and large portions. “Attention L.A. Court Jurors! If you're looking for a good spot to eat close to the DTLA court houses, check out the Galero Grill in the Cathedral complex. A five minute walk from the court houses with good food at reasonable prices. Plus, there's a lovely patio with tables to enjoy your meal in peace (other than the Cathedral chimes on the hour). It's run by the Patina group so, although the food isn't fancy, the quality is very good.“

“This is one of the closer places I could find 肉夹馍 rou jia mo (Chinese hamburger), so I stopped by and have a try. We just came back from a trip to Xi ‘A which is the birthplace of this food. The taste was ok. They added some chopped green pepper which I don’t think the authentic version has it. The bun is also a bit more burnt compared to the authentic version. Overall not too bad but just don’t expect it’s the original version!“

“The service was good, we went in at a perfect time on a weekday. I wish they carried Dr.Pepper and I miss being able to have the variety of syrup choices. They need to bring the choice's back? The only thing that took a while was when it came time to pay. We had to wait for our waitress to serve other table's before we were able to pay due to their policy of pay at table now.“
