“This is our second time going now. Service again was very good and super attentive. The wine selection is outstanding and honestly overwhelming. We just usually get the flights to be able to sample what they recommend. The flatbread pizza is very tasty with good crunch texture. Will go back again!“

“We stopped here for a quick bite after arriving in SFO and had to hit the road to go to Napa. Delicious sandwiches and although this place had a beachy vibe. It was really quiet and staff didn't seem terribly friendly or welcoming but our party of four just wanted to get some food and leave anyway.“

“I recently had the pleasure of hosting a private event at TwelveMonth in Burlingame, and it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. From start to finish, every aspect of the event was nothing short of exceptional. The venue itself exudes sophistication and charm, with its elegant decor and inviting ambiance. It provided the perfect backdrop for our gathering, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening. What truly set TwelveMonth apart, however, was the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. The team went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care of, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy the festivities. The private party space was spacious yet intimate, allowing for seamless mingling and conversation among guests. The layout was well thought out, and the amenities provided added an extra touch of luxury to the event.Overall, our experience at TwelveMonth was nothing short of amazing. It was a private party for the books, and I can't recommend this venue enough for anyone looking to host a memorable event. Huge thanks to the staff for their impeccable service and for helping to make our event truly special. We will definitely be back for future celebrations!“

“Walking with a friend on Laurel Street we stopped in for a glass of Champagne and a Cheese Plate. Seating at the bar was comfortable, friendly bartender, an entire wall of wine you will surely find the perfect accompaniment to anything on the menu. Atmosphere was relaxed, casual and service en pointe. Parking can be difficult especially on weekends.“

“My friend and I had dinner at Twelvemonth last night and it was an amazing experience! There are several parking lots in the downtown area, as well as street parking. The theming and decor here is so cute and would be great for a date night! We sat inside next to a big tree, and the whole vibe inside was amazing and felt upscale. I can't wait to come back here during the warmer weather and sit outside! They also have a bakehouse around the corner, but I don't believe it was open when we went around dinnertime. Everything here is vegan, and although I'm not vegan, I truly did not miss the meat at all and thought all of the food we tried was flavorful and delicious! We started with the crispy maitake mushrooms, which were so chewy, crispy, and flavorful! They had hot nash seasoning, pickles, and whipped ranch, and they came with a delicious dipping sauce which was equally as yummy. I had the Winter Chopped Salad as my entree, but I asked for feta instead of the blue cheese. It was such a delicious salad that I'd definitely order again, but I'd probably pair it with another entree, as I was still a little hungry afterwards. I also had the Windfall mocktail which was refreshing and light! I really enjoyed it. My friend ordered the spaghetti and a glass of wine and enjoyed them both! The servers were very attentive and our water glasses were never empty. They also answered any questions we had and were very friendly! Side note- the restrooms are also so cool here! I recommend checking them out! (I didn't take any pictures but they are so cute and very clean!) I never though I'd drive out of my way to go to a vegan resturant, but I'd do it again! I can't wait for my next visit to Twelvemonth!“

“Was around the San Mateo area and decided to try this new place. They have a variety of Japanese food options but doesn't specialize in anything. They have fried/grilled tapas, sushi, ramen, donburi, bento boxes, and more. They open until midnight which will be great for late night eats with a couple of drinks. Service was decent and space was large. Ankimo - great deal (10$) for a decent size and taste fresh. Curry with pork Katsu - not much meat and it was a lil tough to chew. It seems like the cutlet was uneven fried. Curry was not anything special. Crazy monkey roll - eel inside and hamachi/sake on top. Classic roll, I would recommend ordering a side of spicy Mayo for extra flavor!“
“Amazing place! Great service and ambiance. I feel that I could hang out here all night if they didn't have a closing time. I ordered a Pina Colada style cocktail and it was made to perfection! Hope to come back soon. Highly recommend this bar!“

“Stopped by three times during my week stay in Palo Alto. Chill, laid-back bar with Pliny on tap. Why try anywhere else when you found something right up your alley? Will be back next time my travels bring me to Stanford. Didn’t have food but looks surprisingly good.“

“Another terrific find! This came to my attention when they catered my hospital's event. It was delicious! I have visited a few times dining both in and outdoors. The staff were friendly and engaging. While the prices aren't the lowest, you definitely get your money's worth and more. On my most recent visit, I tried the on-tap beer and even got to sample the brisket burnt ends...YUM!“

“We usually eat next door at Bagel Street Cafe during the day and sometimes get a beer at Grill House. The bartender was cool because he used to let me bring a pint glass to the outdoor seating area. We prefer sitting outside because this is our midpoint during our bicycle rides. This is my first time eating at Grill House. I came here because Riley's hot food self station was closed at 7:30pm. I ordered a cheeseburger with garlic fries $20. It came out in about 10 minutes. It tasted OK. The bun was really dry and they put too much mustard on it. It tasted sour. A better option would be garlic aioli sauce or even plain mayo. Red onions would have made this burger 2x better but it was not included. The garlic fries needed more garlic taste. No garlic burn here. Service was excellent. Good job crew at Grill House.“

“Ummm, wow. Super inventive and delicious. Great beer selection is what brought me here, but I love a good curry. Went with wiater recommendation and got the Curry chicken masala pizza. DEEEEELICIOUS!!!The dough itself is pretty pedestrian, but the toppings and flavor had me over eating and then still debating if I want to eat another slice. Worthy, for sure“

“This is a fun spot to get together with friends after a day at the corporate office and hang out at the social office! They've got a good menu and large selection of beer. You can sit down and start a tab on trivia nights (Monday 7p). There's a heated by fire pit outdoor space or some tables inside or at the bar. Parking is street and the staff is friendly but don't expect too much chitchat. They're often busy!“

“We went on a Sunday night. Very lively atmosphere, it was full by 6:30pm. Attentive, efficient service. The pork belly hung lay was amazing, as was the roti with coconut chicken curry. The tea leaf salad was mixed in front of us for a bit of drama, but the pieces of baby gem were a little too big for even distribution (would have been better if shredded). The rest of the dishes (deviled eggs, beef kebat, eggplant) were good but not super memorable. We were surprised that shan tofu wasn't on the menu, but I guess this is supposed to be contemporary fusion rather than traditional Burmese cuisine.“
