“went to the Backdraft today been going there since they opened under the original owner. This is the worst I have ever seen it. the serve flat out SUCKS. unless you are in with "one of the mangers" then you get good service.I will not be back untill the change owners.”

“Today was my first time coming here! The girl at the window was so helpful and knowledgeable about all the products! She was even able to make my white chocolate mocha with toffee nut! 24 oz and inside is 4 shots of espresso ( I was sold on coming back just for that!) it was so yummy I had a hard time putting it down that half my drink was gone before I got home! I also got a pastry and that was amazing too! This is a hidden gem and so close to home for me I will be back!”

“Delightful and much needed in this food wasteland. $$-$$$ but a Charcuterie Board, which is generous, at the bar is adequate to give a you a sense of the place and you want to make a full dinner commitment. Drink menu is creative as is the dinner menu. We sampled bit of every thing and our favorites were the beet salad and the scallops. The band was good but I would preferred sitting a little farther away for talking. Perfect place to break a sparkly dress!”

“Jay has never ever disappointed in providing the most amazing and fast service. Not only is she so quick and very sure to make your dining experience great, she's funny and makes you feel like you're so welcome. For the food; Chef Peter's Chicken and the Lemon Chicken are our favorites, and the singapore street noodles are spicy yet satisfying (my husband LOVED them) We're here often, at least once a couple months, and it's been a knock out of the park every single time.”

All those staff is totally happy and welcome you with a smile. I've always taken my dinners out, so I haven't eaten inside the restaurant, but when you walk in you are greeted kindly”

“My wife and I decided to try Cortez Mexican Food...we've passed by it numerous times over the years going to and from Oceanside. It's small and very informal. We ordered the California Burrito, Taquitos with guacamole & shredded cheese and tacos Al pastor. The service was fast and made fresh to order. If you're in the area or just passing by, please consider trying Cortez Mexican Food...I promise you won't be disappointed. On a side note: The tacos are not your typical street style tacos...they're much larger and very filling.”

Amazing evening -- Insalata de Nochi (braised Pear Salad) was perfect-- I had the Short Rib Pasta -- made with Pappardelle Pasta, moist flavorful short rib, mushroom cream sauce (yum!)--absolutely scrumptious! Bob had the Chicken Marsala, and he said the chicken was tender, very good! and of course (2) Glasses of Cabernet, from Paso Robles--The staff are always so amazing, fantastic customer service-- Thank you to the man, Leone!”

“Best dive bar ever. This is the only bar in Bonsall so it is always filled with locals, usually between ages 35-70. This used to be a stopping spot for traveling bikers so there is still often bikers that come in. The drinks are strong and decent priced. There is a happy hour special. You can also drink and smoke cigarettes on a small patio, if needed. They used to allow dogs but lately, only service animals.”

Restrooms available. Ordering via kiosk, mobile or cashier are all quick. Status monitor for orders were accurate. Parking lot is shared with Gas station convenient store and parking spaces are limited. Easy in/out to RT76. Drive thru available. Hit and miss with fries but the burgers are well cooked and consistent.”

“Honestly didn’t care for the food that much but the woman who rung us up (who I think was the manager) was super nice and when she found out it was my first time at a Jack in the Box she threw in some extra sauces.”

“I've only eaten here once, but it was fantastic. As you might suspect, this is one of those places where you're going to pay quite a bit, and you're going to do it specifically to be somewhat outside your usual comfort zone. Portions are small but not unreasonably so. Flavors are going to be complex and rather experimental, even unconventional, so only come here when you're in a mindset for being adventurous in eating. That will ensure you have a positive experience and get the most out of your adventure. During my meal with friends I learned that I can absolutely love rhubarb and sweetbreads, two things I've not liked before. But this place turned them into new magic. The halibut and wagyu beef were to die for, but not in any way that I have ever tasted before. I wasn't a huge fan of a bone marrow appetizer (although friends loved it), so the servers gave us a complimentary round of champagne. Pretty fair, if you ask me. Speaking of drinks, the bartenders have as many tasty and unique tricks as the chefs do. Order a gin gimlet even if you don't usually like them. I was hooked. Remember, adventure and new flavor experiences are the reason for coming here, not just to have food made from the best ingredients. Decor is romantic and sort of mid century mod, spacing is cozy but not tight, and the atmosphere is vibrant, perhaps even a little loud. I will definitely be coming back for more new flavors.”

“We eloped yesterday in the desert and drove into Carlsbad to have a relaxing day near the beach. We have heard such great things from a close friend about Campfire so it was a no brainer where we would eat dinner.We had no idea how fantastic of an experience we were in for, or how insanely delicious the dishes and mock-tails would be, and lastly how the service and hospitality would be so beyond that it would bring us to tears.We felt so special and honestly cared for by our waiter Zach and even the management. Being that it was the day after our elopement they went to beautiful lengths to make me and my wife feel special. There are no words to capture how emotional that was for me and her. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. Campfire and Zach will always be a part of our wedding story!Thank you thank you thank you for being beautiful people!! We hope to make it back there one day! Maybe an anniversary trip! ”

The cocktail program is spectacular, extremely unique and well balanced original cocktails coupled with excellent classics.Food is also really tasty and unique with thai inspired dishes.As if Same Same wasn't great enough, they have gluten free dishes and clearly someone is aware of cross contamination in that kitchen, because I have celiac and woke up feeling great which is kind of rare. So BRAVO Same Same. Your staff was amazingly knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining as well. “Food was great! I love ramen and this spot is one of the best I've had! We got the Gonzo black and the tonkatsu along with some takoyaki. The Takoyaki was average, but the ramen was superb! The broth was rich and was very flavorful. The staff was really nice and the food came out quickly as well. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely stop by again!”

I particularly loved the Well D'Onion burger; the spicy ranch had flavorful kick with just a little tingly on the lips, not burning your mouth off. Good stuff. From telling us to sample every flavour, recommendations to similar flavours after we found one we liked, to the most perfect scoops I’ve ever seen.Oh, and the ice cream was smooth, creamy and as flavourful as it comes. The food is alright at this one, fries are great but the truffle sauce needs a rethink. The crunch wrap is good but mainly full of lettuce. The Chicken Bites are pretty yummy but I don't care for any of the sauces. So some good and sucky things here, I honestly rather go to the other one that's a restaurant, it's better with more choices.”

They even had their take on chow mein for the picky kid.Chose a 2 spice level and everyone was satisfied but not “burned”. Probably would do a 3 or 4 if it was just me and the scale was reliably linear. But 2 was nice.If you haven’t tried Nepalese, try this, it’s not what you think. It’s pretty unique.”
