Not fancy in appearance, but it’s very clean and comfortable. A lot more spacious than many San Diego area restaurants.The food was excellent. I don’t know anything about Nepalese food, but I liked this. I’m not a fan of Indian food, and though this food shares a lot of the same seasonings, they’re not arranged in the same way.The waitstaff was reserved and quiet, but knowledgeable.We tried too many dishes and each was more mind blowing. I have been putting this review off as I love,love, LOVE Himalayan Bistro. It is truly a wonderful restaurant with YUMMY food... if you dine at the restaurant. I had the opportunity to have food delivered from H.B. Unfortunately it didn't compare to the wonderful meals I have been served while dining in the establishment. And, food temps, haphazard king, etc... is, I hope, due to the Delivery Svc, NOT H.B. That said, sadly my order 'felt' & tasted, like the usual 'top grade' food...read full review

We got take out here. Ambiance inside isn't fancy. Butter chicken was fantastic. Veggie Korma was delicious too. level 3 spicy was good for us. I like that entrees come with naan or rice. I liked the naan (not too crispy).
