I like the soup base and topping but the noodle seems overcooked or maybe it's just the noodle that was mushy and soggy. Tables were unstable, not just one, and I hope that could be fixed.“

“I've never had mazemen before and I would 100% have it again. I had the cheese mazemen and honestly, I felt like that food critic from Ratatouille. I was felt at home from the first bite and by the end of the second one, I was in bliss. I felt like I was transported back to another ramen place I've visited a few years ago where they made the ramen fresh. I wanted the full experience, so I took an allergy pill beforehand so I could try the mazemen and it was worth it. I would totally suffer palpitations again!“

“The vegan options aren't just plentiful but they also taste amazing. Blends of savory and sweet, crunchy and smooth. The service is also fantastic; they frequently bring out little extras to taste which is a lovely way to expand our palates. It is frequently very busy so show up early if you're not getting that out. Also, the kitchen extractor fans are insufficient; your clothes will smell like fried oil after dining in.Vegetarian options: The vegan Inferno Roll is my favorite but all of their vegan options are amazing. The vegan Hellfire ramen isn't really all that spicy if you have a high spice tolerance.“

It was only her working this particular evening so it might have been overwhelming. We were told at 9:10 that they closed at 9:15 (nicely told us to gtfo), but we were confused because google says they close at 9:30. Didn’t matter too much because we were about done anyways. Despite the negatives, definitely give it a try, palettes are always different. My husband got the Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen combo with the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice as well. Both ramen were great! Deeply savory broths and the chasu pork was so tender and flavorful! They also put a generous amount of spicy tuna on the crispy rice, which was a tasty appetizer. This is a perfect dinner on a chilly evening. “The food here is always incredible and has to be my favorite Ramen spot by far. I always get the chashu ramen in mild with an egg. So bomb I swear I am salivating at the mouth just thinking about it. My favorite ramen. Always drink the broth, that's the best part!! It's so packed with flavor. I can't get enough and even when you take it home to reheat it, it tastes just as flavorful. You get bomb ramen for a great price. The ambience is chill and relaxing. I love the amount of outdoor lighting it gets. I also love the barstool setup it feels so chill. The service is always excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful, not like some cold restaurants where you feel unwelcome.“
“Good food with great presentation. The food were really good, they had great flavor. The price is competitive compared to similar sushi places. Everything was good. The salmon was the only thing that was probably slightly off, it wasn't bad at all but not on par with other places and that is the reason they don't get 5 stars. “Was a little confusing at first when walking in, they had a menu you can look at as soon as you walk in and the confusing part is there is a kiosk for order strictly to charge either credit or debit cards if you want to pay cash you have to wait for someone to attend the register. You can choose from different types of Ramen or udon noodles or a platter with rice or a bowl of rice with whatever toppings. It's on the pricey side but the food is pretty good in flavor. Restaurant is kept clean and even has a dine in patio.“

“GREEN CHILI SHIO RAMEN every time! Anytime I'm around Buena Park, I make travel plans to be around this Ramen joint for lunch. We are always looking for Tonkotsu Ramen, but you need to try the green chili from here. A little different than the richer broths, but the freshness and spiciness can't be beat. Definitely a must try spot.“
“Yesterday was Good Friday. My family and I had originally planned to go have dinner at Grab Crab, but the wait was outrageously long. I believe that when I checked in, we had 18 people ahead of us. So, instead, we decided to go Sosom Ramen Bar & Bossam. Luckily, when we got here, it was nice and empty. We got seated right away, and the order was taken really quickly. This was our second time coming to this place. The first time we came, I dont remember much, but we decided to come back anyway. This round was much rememberable. The waiter was on top of everything, making sure we had refills on our water and gave us extra sides. He checked up on us multiple times to see if we needed anything else. Honestly, the food was just perfect. Like 10 min into our dinner, the restaurant started to fill up. The vibe with the customer everyone enjoyed their food. If you want to try Bossam, this is going to place. I don't think they will let you down. Meat is super tender, and the sauce is yummy. Just writing this makes my mouth water.“

Broth is flavorful and their takoyaki has a unique taste compared from the usual takoyaki i've tried. “Grand opening! We saw the sign and decided to try (assume new owners). Staff was very nice and the food was excellent. We tried their signature “pan fired buns” which we will get again. Next up was the “pork soup dumplings” which were tasty and on target. Then, we tried the “beef roll” which was delicious. Definitely coming back to try other menu items. The owners treated us to their dessert dish which was perfect compliment. Nicely done.“

Second reason 4 not 5 is that I've been to the Santa Monica location and the food / ambience was better, not way better but still better.
