“I really like this place, its the best ramen ive had so far, between a handful of other places. I feel like it has the most flavor. The sushi is also really good, good appetizers. All around its a great spot.Ive been here a few times and always enjoyed it.“
“Ordered karaage with came fresh and tasty. I ordered tonkatsu ramen after asking about the spicy tonkatsu ramen. The waitress said it was spicy compared to hot Cheetos which I don't do so I opted out, the broth was creamy I just prefer more garlic . I could have added on to the bowl I ordered for an additional fee but I decided not to. The chashu pork was a bit salty, my sister ordered the same bowl and shared it was too salty for her. Overall it was good, staff was friendly and the restaurant looked clean“
“It's a bit out of the way, but when we're craving Korean home food after Disneyland at fair prices, we'll swing by here. The food is VERY reasonably priced for the amount of food provided. My husband and I share a soup (usually Kalgooksu or Ddukk mandoo gook) and a fried tempura plate. This is enough food for the both of us.You're given rice and radish-style kimchii to start off the palate, and then your main dishes come out. I love the kimchii and the rice -- call me Korean bc I most definitely am. The soup is always consistent. The tempura plate is HUGE. The restaurant is in a strip mall that has plenty of free parking.“
“It just doesn’t get any better than this. I’m telling you, it’s the best ramen in America. The tonkatsu broth is cooked for 24 hours and you can taste the depth of flavor in every bite. The crispy chicken is a perfect starter. Served fresh and hot and super crispy. Edamame is fantastic as well as the pork buns. They add the tip on the total, So be careful not to double tip the server. (Unless you want to!) Strip mall has free parking, but the entire area is busy, so you may have trouble finding a spot.“
“One of the best meal I had that was dry noodles and the flavors was fantastic. It was call Tokyo mazemen, it was recommended by the server, great recommendations and the vegan options is amazing too. The noodles was spot on in texture and the flavors is amazing. A must try place. Great quiet free parking lot, decent price and it does match the portions sizes. The staffs were friendly and the atmospheric was nice. Definitely will try it again! Hidden gem!Vegetarian options: Great options to select from and the vegetables were fresh and awesome.“
“I highly recommend this hidden gem here in orange county. The fish and the quality is top notch. Super reasonable. The waitress and owner was very polite and their so welcoming. I had to order the sushi about 2_3 times. It that good. The ramen is very fresh and so yummy. We are recommending this spot to all our clients friends and family. Great aesthetic and very clean place. Free sake with your order. I really enjoyed my time.“
“Amazing food, amazing service, one of my favorite restaurants! If you’re vegan or vegetarian you have to come here! Do yourself a favor and come here!!Vegetarian options: Amazing vegan options! Truly one of the best spots for vegan ramen and sushi!“
“I ordered the tuna nirvana, animal roll & Lucia roll. The tuna nirvana had a great variety of veggies inside, I want to try more vegan rolls! I loved all the rolls and I will definitely come back to eat again. I did take out and love all the packaging. They put the sauce on the side for the rolls so the rice doesn't get soggy, I love the details!“
“Ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen and it was so delicious. Stopped by after some shopping and this place was packed. They sat me down once I walked in and their service was excellent. I received my meal quickly and it was delicious. I will definitely come back again.“
“I really can't say enough about how good Kashiwa Ramen is; I love it so much I've eaten here several times in the last two weeks. This has to be one of the best ramen spots in OC currently. It originally started in Japan and came over to the States. In terms of quality, it definitely seems authentic.I've tried several items on the menu, and every time, it's delicious. I highly recommend dining in, but even if you order to go, or through doordash, it always comes piping hot and high quality.Today, I tried the Tsukumen, which is hard to find at other shops because it is a traditional dipping noodle where you dip it in the soup. I would highly recommend trying their tonkatsu ramen, although they also have other great items like smaller portion chashu rice bowls, which I swear the meat is so soft and tender. The chashu pork comes out great every time. The soft boiled egg is perfection. Both the straight and wavy noodles are wonderful. They also have a swirl broth, which is absolutely delicious; it's a mix of their pork and chicken broth together. They also have green tea, which tastes really crisp and fresh. They also have chicken if you don't eat pork.Overall, I really love Kashiwa and plan to continue frequenting it. The only critique I can give is that I wish the waitresses would check in on the tables at least once or twice every so often. Everyone is so kind and polite and the service is very fast. Dining by myself, i am in and out in under 30 minutes or so.Thank you so much for the wonderful meals, I plan to continue coming here in the future, and I hope more people come too.Vegetarian options: They do have tofu as protein for all ramen, miso ramen, sea kelp ramen, and other various side dishes like egg on rice.I would double-check with the waitresses to make sure the broth is 100% vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: If you do not eat pork, they have chicken as a protein topping as well.Parking: Big parking lot in a busy shopping center.Kid-friendliness: There are probably not a ton of options for kids, but if your kids are more adventurous, im sure they would enjoy it. I believe I've seen kids eating pretty plain ramen, just noodles and broth.Wheelchair accessibility: I'm pretty sure it's accessible to get in, but it is a small store and pretty tight. You may be able to fit your wheel chair at the counter if you ask.“
“If you like ramen, this place is fantastic with red and white miso broth options. The spicy tao paste is over the top spicy so be careful. The service is traditionally awesome. The atmosphere is also traditional Japanese decor with matching music. However, the outdoor seating is a couple of folding tables pushed up against the window 3 feet from the parking lot.“
“Best tasting ramen I've ever had and the prices are super affordable. The atmosphere is really chill and clean and the staff is very friendly and welcoming!Dietary restrictions: I have a garlic allergy and they were very helpful with accommodating me!Parking: There's more parking behind the restaurant, but there is accessible handicap up front!Kid-friendliness: Very open space and room in the booths for kids“
“Got the Tokyo Mazeman regular everything (garlic, etc) and it was AMAZING. Glad they gave rice for the end because I wanted to soak up the leftover sauce and chives. Also, adding their house vinegar really makes the mazeman and cuts into the oils of the sauce - highly recommend. The regular Tokyo version has a small kick, so I also had their draft Asahi to make the experience just right.Vegetarian options: There's a separate section for vegetarian and vegan optionsParking: Parking is easy in the plaza“
“Delicious ramen! The Chuka Soba was phenomenal. The broth was perfectly balanced. Not too bland, not too rich. The inside is cozy and very chill. We sat at the bar to watch the cooks prepare the ramen.Gyoza was also perfect, the sauce was also quite excellent. Really enjoyed the variety of the music being played as well.“
“Love this local spot. The ramen is so good, love the Spicy Miso especially. It's got good flavor but not too spicy. All the rolls have been yummy too! The vibe is anime which is super cute and casual. Service has always been solid even when they are busy. Have been back several times and it's consistently good!!“
“Great birria de chivo. Im not a fan of birria de chivo in general. I prefer beef birria but this birria is great. I can tell its made and cooked fresh every day. Perfect consume flavor and not too gamey. If you LOVE birria de chivo you will love this place. The quesabirria tacos were meaty and plentiful too. Open bar for the condiments meant you got all the fixins you want.“
“Tried this place out for lunch and left very happy! It was pretty dead for a Thursday at noon but I assume for evenings they get busier. My husband got the OG Platter which came with two tacos, a quesadilla, and a mulita and he was happy with the portion size. I got the Birria Ramen and man was it full of meat. They normally put cheese but I didn't want that with my ramen. The broth is so good and not too oily like other places. I really enjoyed that the meat was not too fatty so you are getting good quality. We also got a churro with lechera and strawberry ice cream which was so good I forgot to take a picture. I enjoyed everything so much I can't wait to go back!“
“Little hole in the wall. Never new this place existed until I googled sushi places near me. Tried it for the first time. Their sushi is very delicious!! Very good deals too. Buy 2 get 1 free. Super yummy, have lots of flavors. Service was good. Am definitely going back to try more of their deliciousness.“
“I really like this restaurant! We have gone here several times after mountain biking Fullerton Loop. They have GREAT ramen, the happy hour deal appetizers are excellent, their Thai tea is awesome, beers are nice and cold, and their sushi is fresh and very tasty. They are open late, go check it out!Vegetarian options: They have a vegan ramen with spinach noodles“
“I absolutely love Sushi and this is one of the best tasting sushi places I have been to in a long time. Maybe I was hungry. I had Tonkatsu Raman and the Raku Roll. The raman was very good and the Raku Roll was OUTSTANDING!! The roll was very large including ample fish and non-rice fillings. Price was also reasonable. I will be back next time I fly to SNA.“
“Small, husband & wife shop. Beef and Chicken Teriyaki Bento - came with salad, 4pc California rolls, 2pc egg rolls, and rice. Heavy packed with the rice and meats. Tasted actually pretty scrumptious. Only minor complaint would be the beef was tuff.“
“Such a hidden gem sushi restaurant! They have premium sashimi and great Japanese dishes. Many parts are from Japan like the uni. It’s very fresh and doesn’t smell at all. The salmon is from the ocean, not farmed salmon. Toro parts are very nice and delicious. Sushi menu was really worth trying. The servers are especially friendly. I really enjoyed the vibe as well. They play relaxing music. It gives a relaxing feeling like slow-life countryside in Japan. Totally recommend!“
“Place is ok, there are so many better places though! I would eat here if I didn’t want to go out too far. Black garlic ramen was seriously lacking flavor but the udon was good. Sushi was standard and the hoedeopbap was tasty, just didn’t have much fish. Maybe I’ve been spoiled but service was poor. Girl was trying to talk to me across a loud room and ordering was slow. It was only her working this particular evening so it might have been overwhelming. We were told at 9:10 that they closed at 9:15 (nicely told us to gtfo), but we were confused because google says they close at 9:30. Didn’t matter too much because we were about done anyways. Despite the negatives, definitely give it a try, palettes are always different. It wasn’t so bad that I wouldn’t come here again, could’ve been a one-off night and I always like to give establishments another shot.“
“SO DELICIOUS AND FRESH! I can’t believe how good EVERYTHING was. So happy to have stumbled upon this place! We got the extra salmon crunch spicy burrito which was 100/10. The gyoza was hot, steamy, and fresh. The Tonkatsu Ramen had the most delicious pork I’ve ever tasted in Ramen. 10/10! Can’t wait to come back.“
“Our server was tin! He was very kind, easy to talk to, and attentive. Location is a bit hidden on the left side of the building and you may have to ring the doorbell on the stand outside the double doors. We enjoyed the new vegan gyoza as well as the delicious tonkotsu ramen with pork belly. We’ve visited about 5 of their locations and food always delivers. This one is a bit smaller compared to the others but just as busy. Come give it a try!“
“The food here is always incredible and has to be my favorite Ramen spot by far. I always get the chashu ramen in mild with an egg. So bomb I swear I am salivating at the mouth just thinking about it. My favorite ramen. Always drink the broth, that's the best part!! It's so packed with flavor. I can't get enough and even when you take it home to reheat it, it tastes just as flavorful. You get bomb ramen for a great price. The ambience is chill and relaxing. I love the amount of outdoor lighting it gets. I also love the barstool setup it feels so chill. The service is always excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful, not like some cold restaurants where you feel unwelcome.“
“This establishment provides a dining experience that closely mirrors authentic Japanese cuisine. Its forte lies in sushi, showcasing a range of expertly crafted rolls and nigiri that cater to both traditional and innovative tastes. However, the culinary delights extend beyond sushi, with other offerings like Ramen, characterized by its rich and flavorful broth, and Karaage, which is their crispy and succulent fried chicken, also standing out. The staff here are exceptionally courteous and attentive, contributing to a welcoming and enjoyable dining atmosphere.“
“Ordered a tonkotsu ramen bowl while the wife ordered a beef yaki bowl. I'm not sure if I was just hungry or if the portion of the tonkotsu ramen was smaller than usual locations I've been to but it was delicious and I finished the entire thing! Not very common for me. I tried some of the beef yaki and that too was also quite nice. I would recommend this location for ramen and beef bowl lovers. The atmosphere is a bit rowdy but I was not bothered.Parking: There was plenty of spaces.“
“My friend and I ordered cold soba noodle combination with fried shrimp and veggies, takoyaki, curry soba and fried cartilage. They were all on point. The handmade soba noodles were cooked just right - chewy and bouncy. The fried shrimp with sweet soy sauce on top of white rice was also ?. I highly recommend this place!FYI, my friend is Japanese, and she approves as well!“
“Was a little confusing at first when walking in, they had a menu you can look at as soon as you walk in and the confusing part is there is a kiosk for order strictly to charge either credit or debit cards if you want to pay cash you have to wait for someone to attend the register. You can choose from different types of Ramen or udon noodles or a platter with rice or a bowl of rice with whatever toppings. It's on the pricey side but the food is pretty good in flavor. Restaurant is kept clean and even has a dine in patio.“
“Vegetarians and vegans rejoice. This place has so many veggie options. I had the V2 Motto Special and my partner had the V4 Miso Ramen. Both were delicious! I liked mine because of the creamy broth and high quality toppings and my partner liked his because of the smoky/spicy flavor of the broth. Everything was made to order. Nice clean environment and they clearly put a lot of care into the place. Really amazing service too, the lady serving us was hilarious and so sweet! The condiments available were perfect. We will definitely be back to try the other 3 veggie ramen options. Zero complaints! So good! Thank you!“
“Hanano Ramen hit the spot on a cold and rainy night! I took my daughter and her friend there since we were craving ramen. They both ordered the chicken ramen and I built my own since I'm not a fan of spicy food too much. The ramen was flavorful, and I very much enjoyed the extra thick noodles! It would be nice if they included the whole egg in the soup, and not just half an egg. We ordered: Spicy Tuna Roll-very good but a bit priceyTonkotsu RamenChicken Ramen“
“Made a reservation and had seating 30 mins early. Could barely hear the staff over the peppy music choice but the establishment was also at peak hours. Service was great, checked in constantly and were patient when speaking over the music, making sure we heard what was said. The food was better seasoned this time, previously when we went the seasoning was harsher but this time it's perfect. You do have to scan a qr code to see the menu and its not the friendliest user interface but there is a variety of options and servers are willing to explain and clarify questions.“
“Soooo good! Lots of choices. Fast service in bringing out the food. I was sooo hungry when we finally got in. The wait was a little long but it was worth it. Our server was also very good Aaron. He always came back to check if we were doing ok. Definitely something I would recommend. I'll be back soon.“
“THE BEST RAMEN EVER! I normally go to the Irvine location on Michelson, so I was SO excited when I saw there is new Hiro nori closer to me in Tustin! Hiro Nori ride or die here and this place NEVER disappoints. I've been to multiple different Hiro Nori locations over the years and the ramen is consistently amazing at all of them. Service is always quick and employees are always friendly. I think the Tustin location is my favorite, decor/design wise. They did a great job, it's such a vibe inside! Every single item here is absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. I've tried every single menu item and equally enjoy them all. If you go here and the wait is long, WAIT! I promise you it will be worth it.“
“We made reservation via Yelp. This restaurant is located in a small plaza with limited parking spaces. The service was excellent. The restaurant looks like a typical Japanese yakitori restaurant. It's clean. The ramen tastes alright. The yakitori tastes alright too. It's a nice restaurant just have a drink and to hang out with friends.“
“Kitakata Ramen Ban Nai is like a noodle symphony for your taste buds! The broth is so rich, it's practically doing a backstroke in flavor town. The noodles are like the Michael Phelps of the ramen world – perfectly slurpable and champion-worthy. The only problem? I need them to start offering a loyalty program because I've officially become a ramen-a-holic. I might need an intervention, or just another bowl of their amazing ramen. Delicious addiction, here I come!“
“My husband and I have been looking for a good ramen place and we found this restaurant. We both ordered tonkotsu ramen and a sushi to share, and everything was delicious. The server was so nice and attentive. This restaurant became our favorite place we will definitely come back soon!Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs“
“This is the first place that I have had tsukemen which was fishy!!! It's a pork based dipping broth, which I much prefer. The noodles themselves have a great chew and the dipping sauce was appropriately flavored and not too salty like some dipping broths I've had in the past.“
“The food court environment makes this seem like it wouldn't be that good but I love the Ramen here. It's also a big plus that they re-did the seating in the food court area... Used to be almost impossible to get seating on a weekend.“
“Grand opening! We saw the sign and decided to try (assume new owners). Staff was very nice and the food was excellent. We tried their signature “pan fired buns” which we will get again. Next up was the “pork soup dumplings” which were tasty and on target. Then, we tried the “beef roll” which was delicious. Definitely coming back to try other menu items. The owners treated us to their dessert dish which was perfect compliment. Nicely done.“
“Stopped by on Saturday noon, but restaurant was not crowded at all. Had a tonkotsu spicy miso ramen. As a ramen lover, the food was OK. I like the soup base and topping but the noodle seems overcooked or maybe it's just the noodle that was mushy and soggy. Tables were unstable, not just one, and I hope that could be fixed.“
“This was the closest ramen spot from our hotel which was perfect after a late night that resulted to a sore throat. There was no wait list even though it was lunch time. The space itself is compact but had a welcoming atmosphere.I ordered the Mild Slurpin’ Ramen with chasu. The spice level had the perfect kick. The broth was creamy and delicious.Would definitely come back again!Parking: This is a compact plaza with public and valet parking.“
“One man hosting, serving, cooking and cleaning when I showed up with a date. He deserves the absolute best! Give him all your tips! The food was very delicious. Chashu melted in your mouth and noodles were just right. The tonkotsu spicy miso was awesome.“
“Such an amazing place!! One of the best ramen places I’ve been in OC. It feels authentic and the vibes are nice (music 10/10!!! Servers are amazing and the price is right! The karaage chicken is delish and the black garlic ramen 10/10. Serving portion is perfect!! Would definitely go again. おいしい!!“

“We have been coming to KH for years, decades! The quality and authenticity of yakitori is just legit. All parts of the chicken is used and grill to perfection. Try them all, maybe in a few visits to you will be able to taste all the skewers! you will not be disappointed. When you enter KH, you are transported into the land of Japan and you will enjoy this ride so much, you might plan your next trip to the actual country of Japan. Enjoy this little trip to one of the best izakaya in the OC.“
“We came for lunch and I ordered the spicy miso ramen and made that a lunch combo ( small chasu bowl and small salad). The noddles cook just right, chewy. The miso is not too salty and I almost drank all the soup at the end. The runny boiled egg and they pan fired the chasu before cooking it which is special. I’ll recommend this place!“
“Excellent small restaurant with AMAZING prices. You can get a legit bowl of ramen or a bowl of poke for $10! That is unheard of in today's insane greedflation economy.First time here and they had high quality service and eager to please workers taking care of the orders and prep which was nice and made the experience smooth and pleasant. The food itself was very tasty and sizably portioned. I was shocked at the quantity and price. I ordered the sushi burrito for $10 (I usually pay $15 at my favorite poke spot by my house as a comparison). I highly recommend going to this spot before the prices shoot up 40-60% in the next 12 months. They deserve your patronage either way.“
“Had dinner with my daughter we had the Tonkotsu Shoyu and Tonkotsu Black ramen which did not disappoint. Great service as we didn't have to wait to be seated or for our food. Definitely coming back to try the ribs with the ramen next time.“
