A dear friend invited me to experience a bit of "traditional" Hong Kong style hot pot. It was a different experience for me as I had not been to a restaurant where you get literally a hot pot and then you have to dip meat of one form or another into it and you add all the ingredients on the fly -- egg, veggies, tofu? Such a fun experience! Lots of variety. The flat noodles are my favourite, and the mala broth was the perfect spice level. All of the seafood is fresh and good quality. The meat is also good quality.
One of my favorite spot. I drive close to an hr to come here. 2 things stand out to me. 1) the ppl are super friendly and inviting, they talk to you like you're friends and check in on you. I don't typically care for customer service especially in Asian places but here it stands out. 2) they provide quality food options besides the meat and lobster tail.
