“I have been regularly visiting this fabulous restaurant to have lunch or dinner for last 26 years. This is my most favorite restaurant for Pakistani/Indian Mughalai style food in the U.S.You can get delicious authentic Mughalai dishes in Los Angeles only in this restaurant.I especially love their Karhai Chicken, Chicken Tikha Masala, Chicken Biryani, Dal Masala, Tandoori Roti and Garlic Naan. The dishes are very reasonably priced. The owners and staff are very nice, friendly and cooperative. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is very good.Bismillah Halal Tandoori Restaurant truly deserves five stars.“
“Wow!! Everything about this place was amazing. The decor, the staff, the food. Can't wait to come back. Galata Turkish Halal Grill is on the corner of Belmont and Nieto. Depending on what time you come free parking can be difficult to find. They provide indoor seating and a few tables outside as well. I came with a friend and were seated within seconds. We ordered the Galata salad, a chicken donor wrap, and a beef donor wrap. To our surprise they brought out a plate of sun-dried tomatoes in herbs and oil with some fresh warm bread to start, so good! The food we ordered was delicious. We both agreed that the beef donor wrap was our favorite of the two. As for the salad, I thought corn was an interesting topping to add but I felt that the flavors went well together. The dates and the caramelized walnuts were a nice touch. However, my friend was on the fence about it. She mentioned it was too lemony for her taste. So keep that in mind if your preference is similar to hers when ordering the Galata salad. The staff had to have been the best part of the whole experience they were all so kind and very helpful when we were not sure what to order. They even gave us complimentary pomegranate tea when we finished our food. This place is a must try in my opinion.“
“been going here the past few months, gotta say they have never disappoint. great service, owner is down to earth person and very personable. food is likely some of the best in the area. hoping to be coming out there for many more times to come.“
“This was a great gem to find in westminster! My husband and I were on a business trip and enjoyed the food and hospitality so much we returned the next day and brought a friend. We absolutely LOVED the falafel, kibbeh, and humus the most. We also really enjoyed the chicken kebab and beef shawarma. My favorite meat was a chicken they made special for the dinner buffet. I was so disappointed to learn it wasn't a menu item that could be ordered ?. I also liked the Barbosa dessert it as s coconut flavor without being over powering and the lentil soup was also AMAZING so creamy and smooth. Definitely top tier lentil soup he swears its just blended lentils but there must be some magical ingredients or process because that lentil soup was SOOO SMOOTH. ("Just like the ocean under the moon" silently singing Santanas song withbthe mtch box 20 guy in my head now)Ahmed the owner was really nice and so was the Mexican lady working for him. I don't remember her name, but we were thankful she spoke Spanish as when we came in the forst time, the only two people there were her and another guy who only spoke Russian. Neither had good English but luckily my husband spoke enough Spanish and we pointed at the menu items and were able to order. Ahmed speaks fairly good English and so did the lady who was their the next day. This food was so yummy we would come back even if no one spoke english or spanish. We will definitely be back again. It's been a while since I've had really good falafel, so that was a super pleasant surpise. The venue is small, only about 6 or so tables that seat about 4 each. They do have a high chair if needed but no changing table in the bathroom. I wouldn't call this easily wheelchair accessible as the threshold is a bit high, and the space between tables is a bit limited. It would be challenging to maneuver through if all the tables are full.I highly recommend checking it out if you are looking for yummy Mediterranean food and are not afraid of language differences. ?“
“When I walked in, I wasn't too sure about the place. However, the owner was extremely nice and helpful. Then, I was presently surprised with some of the best kabobs I have eaten. They take great pride in their cooking. This is a good find, especially if you're like me and tired of fast food chains.“
“Nadoosh Shawarma is the best shawarma in Orange County, hands down. The friendly cook provides prompt service with delicious and filling meals. Grease and salt are not too over-the-top and the sauces are mesmerizing (that garlic tahini tho). I literally visited twice in the same week. This is like something out of Curb your Enthusiasm, you get it into your stomach and you won't get it out of your head. A food truck to remember and to share with your friends, do not sleep on one of the best hidden dining experiences of SoCal.DON'T GO TO THE RALLY'S ACROSS THE STREET.Dietary restrictions: Halal, with vegetarian options available.Parking: Off-street lot. Near a salon.Wheelchair accessibility: Open space, clearly marked.“
“A lovely place with delicious food. The service was friendly and the food was amazing. We ordered a large serving of their Believe Stew to go, it was that good (and it comes on most of the dishes on this menu).Generally Caribbean, they have a wide variety of salads, bowls, and tacos. Definitely worth trying their menu here. This faces a parking lot that is extremely busy. Looking for parking at some times of day might be difficult.“
“I ABSOLUTLEY love this place!! The food is amazing and fresh. The owner is so polite and helpful. I buy the frozen falafel so now I don’t have to make it myself. I’m so happy I found Kareem’s. I’m not sure who hurt that poor guy with the negative review. Boy bye!! This is the best Mediterranean food in SOCAL!!!“
“The best Indian food I have eaten so far since I moved from India which has been over 13 years . We were just visiting LA and our kids love to eat Indian food so we found this restaurant on google and landed here. The food was one of a kind .All the staff and the owner are very kind , polite and hospitable . The owner is very friendly and makes sure everyone is having a good time . I know where to go now if I am craving for an authentic Indian meal ?. If I was living in California , I would be here at least one day of the week . Food has true flavors of indian spices . It definitely feels like the food has been made with so much love . The service was really quick . We were super hungry and barely had to wait for our meals to arrive . I am in love with the food . I would 110% recommend this restaurant ❤️“
“Upscale Lebanese restaurant with variety of dishes sporting authentic taste of Beirut. From delicious vegetarian choices to succulent meats, all with just the right amount of spices.Vegetarian options: Falafel is the best but there are many more to try.“
“So glad we found this place during our trip to Cali! Cozy atmosphere, wonderful service, and delicious food! We had the kadai chicken, chicken tikka masala, and garlic naan. Generous portion sizes and very reasonable prices. Highly recommend, we would definitely go back!“
“We tried habibi grill first time . We order shawarma wrap and taaooq plater ,hummus and kunafa. Everything was so delicious and tasty like not over cooked neither less cooked everything on point ! Wanna eat those again and again . 100 % recommend if you like Mediterranean.Must go place and chef was so Nice man and knew how to cook! ?“
“As entreprenuers we travel the world and the unknown and get to have great experiences with people. Today we visited World Famous Grill in Downey and Hassan was the perfect gentleman. He helped us with a Kabob Combo Plate with hummus, rice salad and pita bread along with their famous Western Burger which was monstrous and delicious. Our daughter was also able to order chicken nuggets and fries as well. We appreciate these small businesses opposed to all the BIG corporations who usually say no to us asking for food. Thank you again World Famous Grill.“
“Great for take out. Don't in it's also available but there's only a couple tables. Food's great though.Vegetarian options: No meat pizzas, garlic bread, pasta, saladsDietary restrictions: Keto PizzaParking: Shopping center isn't too busy, parking is ok. There's a much bigger parking lot somewhat attached.“
“My family and I recently decided to explore a new dining option, Khan Saab, following high praise from my sister. Our experience at Khan Saab was thoroughly enjoyable, living up to the anticipation. We delved into a variety of dishes from their menu, finding each selection delightful. The Butter Chicken stood out for its excellence, though a tad more sweetness could elevate it from excellent to outstanding. Both the Garlic and Plain Naan were scrumptious, perfectly complementing the mains. The Chicken 65 was flawlessly executed, and the Paneer dish matched this high standard of culinary excellence. The Mango Mojito, while great, was noted for its smaller serving size, leaving us wanting more. The Pani Puri was a hit among the family, universally loved for its authentic taste. The service at Khan Saab added to our positive experience, characterized by friendliness and efficiency, with all our dishes arriving swiftly. In summary, our visit to Khan Saab was a delightful culinary journey, marked by delicious food and exemplary service. A slight adjustment to the sweetness of the Butter Chicken and serving size of the Mango Mojito could enhance the dining experience even further.“
“First time here after moving to California, my cashier Saad was an amazing and friendly guy, they’re food is delicious, I especially recommend they’re black angus burger (double patty), their Nashville chicken sandwich, and their biscoff pudding.“
“I’ve been ordering off of DoorDash and honestly this is my new favorite place the 1st time ordered the food blew my mind. Even my mother who’s picky on certain foods was also amazed. I found my new favorite place.Kid-friendliness: has kid friendly foods fish and chips and chicken nuggets.“
“My wife and I got the biryani bowl, the Frankie roll, and the samosas. Everything was delicious! The green sauce is good but the tamarind chutney was amazing. Such a great balance of spices. I'm so glad we saw this place on Instagram and we can't wait to get this again!“
“Incredible food. Absolutely delicious dishes and warm, friendly service. Accommodations for special diets available. Chicken Coconut Curry and Lamb Biryani were excellent. Finished the meal off with Gulab Jaman and Handsome's Spiced Coffee. Will return again and again and highly recommend to all. Thank you, Indian Restaurant and Gary, for your help.“
“Absolutely mind blowing food! 100% I have traveled a lot and tried food different places but this one was the best experience so far. We ordered ribs and burger. Both were made to perfection. Highly recommend. The owner himself and his employees were very hospitable and welcoming. Thank you for such a pleasant experience.“
“Tiny little place in the corner of the building, Dining in is not really an option unless you are by yourself, plan to order ahead and take it to go. I've seen this place before, and finally decided to give it a try based on a recommendation from a friend.Food tasted really good, decent price too. Beware of the spiciness! As a desi person who eats medium spice levels, order mild here lol.Dietary restrictions: Halal“
“It's a good addition to your spicy fried chicken roster! I had the combo #3 and the Yoon(?) fries. My spice tolerance is on the higher side and hot wasn't spicy enough, so you can be a little adventurous here! Chicken and fries were cooked well and portions are good for what you pay. I wish the chicken was a bit crispier though, hence the 4 stars. Yoon fries were good and filling, basically fries with a chopped up tender with coleslaw and drenched in ranch. I generally love ranch but it was a bit much even for me, and it made the chicken a little soggy. I got some of their special sauce on the side and it's pretty good!“
“Drove down from van nuys to try this place out with my two younger siblings, and I quote from two 16 year olds.. the most worth it thing ever haha the portions are great Liza made us feel right at home and when u say we were absolutely satisfied with everything you gotta try the asada hot Cheeto fries they are to die for and the lebamex sauce really brings everything together 10/10 you guys would make a killing in the valley Ali!!!“
“I usually don’t like trying new places cause I hate when I get disappointed but my boyfriend really wanted to try this place out & OMG IT WAS THE BEST. The food was so delicious & the main guy in the front was super welcoming & just super nice. Will definitely be going every time we go to the wolf lodge.“
“I visited Byrd's twice while I was in Anaheim and I have to give them mad props. Both times I was greeted and served by friendly people who wanted to tell me about their favorites on the menu.I'm pretty basic and easy going so I got the sandwich both times; one hot and the second supahot. Both were made to order, hot, crispy, juicy and Delicious.I like spicy so I really enjoyed both seasonings and I didn't really have a favorite. If I lived here I'd definitely go back“
“The chicken skewers portion much smaller than in the photos, however, overall quite tasty. It's a single man (owner/server) who is trying his best to serve but it took a long time to get the food out... need patience...If I'll ever go back then maybe I will put the order over the phone so it will be ready when arrive.“
“Was looking for a late morning snack with my family after driving from San Diego and was glad we found Al Amir. We ordered the mini zaatar manakish, mini zaatar and cheese manakshi and a regular meat manakish and they were so good. The zaatar tastes home made, the flavors were so fresh. We were all happy and satisfed.“
“I’m so so sorry for all those that miss out on this little gem tucked away in this little strip mall cause you’re certainly missing out on some of the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in ages. Superblylicious!!! The place is small and very unassuming and in fact I thought I had walked in the wrong place if not for the yummalicious smell of the food in the air that had pulled me further in…my son picked this place out but I’d been wanting to try it for several months. I had the Lamb kabab dinner my son had the steak and then ordered a chicken kabab on the side. They were so delicious and tender I will order all 3 again. Yep. All THREE and share. Oh oh…the Garlic potatoes are off the rocker. So Ah-May-Zing! One order is enough for 2 people. But let’s talk hummus…seriously let’s talk. I love hummus and they do hummus. 5 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ for the hummus. So to recap we ordered the kabab dinner which are served over a huge bed of fluffy flavored rice with a grilled onion and tomato, huge serving of hummus ❤️ plus pita bread, salad, pickled spicy onions and the best garlic dip EHVERRRR! They have wraps, bowls and all kinds of items. The food is done right and I’m already planning to go back this week. They have 2 other locations. The one in Long Beach is a larger restaurant that is a larger dine in serves wine and beer. Going to try there too.“
“I was lucky enough to win a business card raffle and got a free catering meal. I had only gone to DonerG once before this and the DonerG Bomb was really good! Mediterranean food is one of my favorites and this catering meal came with the chicken, beef, rice, salad, and a bunch of sauces plus the pita bread. I had a delicious dinner with family and now I plan on getting a catering tray for my birthday this year! I can't wait. Thanks DonerG Anaheim!“
“this place has consistently good pizza. Growing up I was never allowed to eat pepperoni pizza since it was not Halal, and once i was able to find Halal pepperoni, it was still not that appetizing. All that changed with big Al’s pizza. Their beef brisket used to be my favorite, but now I like the simple pepperoni. The saltiness of the pepperoni complements the cheese and sauce so well. The crust is amazing and is chewy yet crispy. just recently I became pregnant and could not tolerate any food during my first and second trimester however, big Al’s pepperoni pizza saved me as it was one of the only foods I could eat. It was delicious and provided me some nutrition as well and I’m sure when my baby grows up inshallah, he too will love big Al’s pizza.Dietary restrictions: Halal“
“I’ve came here 4 times in a row and the food is consistent. The orange chicken is amazing especially because they give you big chunks of chicken unlike other Chinese restaurants where it’s more breading than chicken. If you are in a rush call ahead or else you’ll be waiting awhile. The kitchen makes as it is order. Good food takes time!“
“The best Indonesian food I’ve had in SoCal. On par with the best food I’ve had while in Indonesia. I would drive an hour every day to this place if I could. Try the Sate Kambing, nasi goreng sapi, ox tail soup. People there are super friendly. Dishes may seem priced a bit high, but the quality, taste and quantity makes it more than worthwhile.“
“We love Adana Grill! The generous portions of exquisitely seasoned tender meats and fresh savory sides offer texture and flavors that compliment perfectly. Whether creamy or crunchy , roasted or pickled there is something for everyone here. We often start with the crispy Cheese rolls or Kibbeh. The house special Adana Kebab is excellent, and chicken and beef kebabs are some of our favorites. Don’t forget to finish your meal with Turkish tea and sweet treats of baklava and Turkish delight. Beautiful photography and lively music complete the casual atmosphere. Every meal we have here, or take home , we end saying, “That was so delicious and satisfying. I am so happy”!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly Great for family, date, friends group or just solo mealWheelchair accessibility: Easy roll up to tables for 1-“
“Best Middle Eastern restaurant in town!! It’s my favorite so far in the Area. It was my first time to try it and definitely will be my favorite spot every time I visit LA. Shawarma was so delicious and kufta was sooo good. Baklava was so fresh and delicious. Also You definitely need to try the lemon mint too. They are really friendly and the owner came to check on us couple times to make sure everything is good.“
“Stopped by their pop up at my Paramount Apartment and got this awesome little combo for 14$ with a drink. Food is really good, never had Indonesian but I like it. The textures in the noodles are delicious and there's little sides of fermented veggies, crispy garlic, and a spicy little chilli. All the flavors are good and there's a great portion size. I think the noodles have so much flavor I forgot there was yummy bits of chicken. Will visit their in store restaurant next for lumpia!“
“My boyfriend and I absolutely love this place and are frequent visitors! This is one of the only places that has great tabbouleh and turkish salad! I would recommend to call ahead so you can pick up your order quick, and don't forget to ask for the yogurt sauce! It pairs amazingly well with the pita bread. Lots of room to dine in, but they also get a lot of togo orders.“
“I just finished eating my pizza with my husband and we loved it. Fresh ingredients and good service. Not greasy at all and home made ranch was also a very good win. Recommend to all if you want to grab a bite to eat and just sit outside while enjoying the good weather.“
“Amazing food! My wife and I stopped by for lunch. The seating area is very clean. The staff was very friendly and professional. We were helped by Yare. She explained everything on the menu and was very helpful in picking the right dish for us. We ordered a rice bowl with a lime tasting salad of cucumbers and tomato topped with shredded chicken and beef plus pita bread! Thank you for the great experience Yare!!!“
“Looks and smells pretty good. I tried a piece but, my daughter ate most of it. Just ok. Long wait times in the drive-thru line but, was expected as the food is made to order . I think. The staff didn't seem to be too happy or jolly. They were not rude at all but, not too cheerful.“
“It's a small hotel with a friendly staff and exceptional taste. I savored a delightful zinger burger and chips, followed by a memorable papri chat reminiscent of Karachi's Burns Road. I'm giving it a well-deserved 5-star rating ⭐️, considering the reasonable price.“
“In my time in the Greater LA area, I've stuck with trying mostly Asian eateries as those are typically the spots I feel the most comfortable with. But with the diverse food offerings in the Rowland Heights area in particular, I felt inclined to try something new. With that said, a friend recommended me to try Halal Guys after having previous experiences enjoying halal meats. For this experience, I ordered Halal Guys off of Uber Eats on a Monday night to avoid the traffic on the 60 and chose to try their Beef and Chicken Combo Platter which was around 14 dollars before tax. And from that point, I waited for about 30-40 minutes for my food to arrive at my place. Upon arrival, the food was bagged in layers which kept the food warm which was a nice touch.Opening the bag, each item was given in a foil pan with a plastic lid which helped keep the food inside warm without making the food soggy. And with that, it made receiving the food that much more impressionable. Opening the lid, I was quite surprised by the amount of portion given inside. About 70% of the bowl was filled with large quantities of beef and chicken. Because of this, the dish was meat dominated and ended up being quite filling. The tomatoes, lettuce, and four pieces of pita bread took up the remaining area and prevented the dish from tasting too meaty. For last, the rice that layered the bottom was given in good portion too: not too starchy, and not too scarce. In all, the large quantity given was well worth the expenditure at 14 dollars in the Rowland Heights area. There was so much given, in fact, that the single combo lasted two meals! Price to portion ratio? Very good! The taste of the food was also very impressive! Starting off, the turmeric and cumin-seasoned rice was quite light in texture and was seasoned generously. This allowed the flavor profile of the rice to give the rest of the items in the dish a baseline to work off of. For next, the lettuce and tomatoes tasted fresh, just like you would imagine them to taste: watery, crunchy, and a tad sweet. As for the pita, the texture was soft yet dry, which helped to absorb the moisture from the added white sauce and hot sauce. Furthermore, the bread interior had a hint of what I identified as olive oil which helped the bread taste a bit doughy and subtly salty. As for the meats, the chicken was my favorite of the two as the pieces inside were lightly seasoned with black pepper which tasted heavenly with the flavor of the rice. The chicken's texture was very soft despite the fact it was fully cooked, making each piece melt in the mouth. Although the beef was good as well, it was more on the dry side and tasted much heavier. This could be in part because the meat was sliced thinner, causing the meat to dry out faster and for seasoning to dominate over the amount of area well on each piece. The dish was fine by itself. But including the packaged white sauce, I found the overall taste even more memorable. Tasting like a lighter ranch, each component of the dish was able to attain a greater cohesive texture and creamy taste. Achieving a balance like this is very difficult when you add sauce to a dish, leaving me to crave more of their famous large packets of white. On the other hand, I found the hot sauce to be too spicy to the point that it dominated over any texture or flavor of the food. On a scale of 1-10, I'd say the spice level was close to a 6. Definitely eat some pita to counter the spice should your spice tolerance be low.For this experience with Halal Guys, I would argue Halal Guys deserves a 5 star rating hands down. The portion size was very large for the price compared to most other eateries of this kind and restaurants in this area in general. For the price, the quality was definitely there, having better meat quality than many places that charge almost double the price. Although I found the beef was over-seasoned and on the dry side, it's not to say it was bad by any means. For the next time I return though, I would opt for Chicken Platter instead. In all though, great portion of“
“The most delicious, freshly prepared, juicy, well seasoned chicken breast sandwich I've ever had! It was great. At first, I thought it was burned because it was a really dark brown. But that's because it was saturated in seasoning. I chose the hot one and it was hot! Took a few minutes to sink in. The sauce that came with it looks like thousand island dressing but doesn't taste like it. Kinda hard to describe the taste except it Kinda cools down the intense heat and pairs well with the chicken. I really enjoyed my sandwich and I'll be back.Vegetarian options: Fried cauliflower wings substitute for chicken“
“Fresh, clean, pleasant atmosphere, delicious. If you're looking for a meal that is clean and not full of grease this spot has you covered. It's refreshing and tasty. The cheesecake is delicious. would recommend to anyone and everyone. Staff is on point direct customer service and very descriptive in the items offered. I had the beef with all the offerings of toppings over rice and also opted for some humus will be back to try the other items in the future. The signature sauce is also a great addition to the meal. Putting everything into one conveniently packed bowl. To summarize check it out.“
“Amazing authentic Levantine food (Lebanese, Syrian, Palestinian etc.). You should try their Kafta and Batata Harra, the best I’ve eaten away from home. The service was great and the prices are very reasonable! We will definitely come back when in the area.“
“My family and I are from Xinjiang. it’s super rare to find an authentic tasting dish from our region, but this place knocked it out of the park. The chef is a Kazakhstan, and makes the best hand pulled noodles. We eat here at least once a week.“
“We finally got to try this place with legendary roots in New York. The food, service, and atmosphere were all pretty good. We had the small combo plate with rice, vegetables and choices of proteins. It was a delicious and balanced lunch. We have a young puppy so we appreciate the outdoor seating area.Parking: There are plenty of free parking at this large shopping center.“
“Great authentic middle eastern food, everything was perfect and the service was just as good the wait staff were attentive helpful and efficient.Vegetarian options: Restaurant is clean with a charming atmosphere, lots of families and couples etc.Definitely worth the visit as the food is delicious and vegetarian and vegans are well catered to.“
“I came in here for a snack and found the interior to be a delightful surprise - how charming! The brightly colored painted walls and lights made it so bright, cheery, warm, and welcoming. The service here was focused, professional, and kind. I loved how our food was brought out on a charming tray and our server removed each individual item with care and patience. It was a quaint experience to end our night with. I was also surprised at the culinary experience. We did not order much, as it was only meant to be a snack. I felt that they went above and beyond to complete our dining experience. The food felt very homemade in the best way possible - it was homey and comforting. The bread that covered the spinach pie (which was way larger than I was expecting) was fluffy, filling, warm, and just out of this world. The ideal bread experience! I am personally not a fan of the chicken shawarma here - it was reminiscent of street food/the Halal guys in the sense that it was more boiled meat than shawarma meat.. but the garlic sauce was uhhhmazing, as was the hot sauce, which was spicy with a hint of a sweet aftertaste. I am not a huge fan of soda, but if you have not tried Vimto, it is a MUST try. It complemented our food so well and I was beyond satisfied with this purchase. The food here was not exceptional, but I would give this experience overall 5 stars.“
“I go here pretty much every Sunday to pick up lunch for myself and my family. Leah and Genaro have always been friendly and professional. Restaurant is always clean and there’s always more than a handful of people dining in. The food is cooked to order so I pretty fresh and it tastes great! Wait time for food is what you would expect and food always comes out hot.I suggest you stop by and give them a try…I think you’ll be happy you did.“
“First time here, ordered Chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. The chicken itself was good, the sauce was too sweet for my liking. Garlic naan was really good.I will not fault the restaurant for the sauce, this is the way they make it,and it’s not bad by any means, just too sweet for my tastes.“
