“Comparing this one to the one on Pico/Crenshaw, parking is much much easier and closer to the freeway. The chicken indeed seemed a ted less spicy hot but all the favors are there. (Went to Crenshaw 2 days later and clearly able to compare) As usual, ordered the biggest 20 piece dinning in and it was hot and juicy, especially the breast. Busy on the chicken left the fries cold but still nothing left to take home. The chicken was fresh from the frier as one was bubbling on the table. Teared up one of the breast and juice immediately drip onto the plate. I wore eating clothes every time I go to GUS to refrain from having ruined clothes to regret later. They gave me forks every time but I had never used them. Go wash hands and get dirty!“
“You guys are awsome. Stela and the cashier were awesome tonight.We came in almost at close and they were super nice and even cooked fresh food for us. We came from far and barely made it but they made our dinner and night perfect. You need more like your crew you had tonight. Starting from management all the way to your cook. Had the best smile and ready to make the food even if it was time for them to almost go home.“
“If you like the style of cooking then this spot is for you. Pricey but big sized pieces. Cooked after ordering so there is a little wait. Good variety of flavors that I wish I could try more of but alas, the style of cooking/ food is not for me“

“Went for lunch yesterday with my wife and went to the counter and ( Leo the manager (whom I just met) Leo was super friendly and helpful, he took our order for two "Sweet Corn double chicken bowls (manager Leo was so efficient, and kind; everything you could ask for in an employee. Our meals were absolutely delicious. We will be going back to this El Pollo Loco again ! Manger Leo was later in the lobby asking customers (including us) if everything was okay; Wow this means a lot to people; good old fashioned we care attitude. “Always crowded but ordering ahead makes it super easy to get in and out. Occasionally gets orders messed up but they always make up for it.Parking: A lot of spots but it fills up quickly. People also don’t mind stopping in the middle of it means they get where they want quicker.“
“I don't know WHAT they put in these chicken fingers, but I keep coming back! I don't even like chicken fingers like that. I swear it's some kind of magic dust hidden in the recipe. Don't laugh, I'm serious! I wanna know what TF is in this chicken. I haven't even mentioned the toast. That thang is something special! I now understand why the line is long. Don't let it stop you from trying it out. Even though the line at this location is long, it moves efficiently.“
“Such a great experience here! Place is exceptionally clean and the service is quick. It was my first time at Dave's and Jessie the cashier answered all of my questions. The chicken was tender and crispy, just the way it's supposed to be. I'll be back the next time i'm in Burbank!“
