I just went to Red Maple Cafe for the first time today and really enjoyed the experience. My wife mother and daughter all loved our food and the ambiance. The fried chicken and waffles were very flavourful and unique because of the blackberry sauce they served with the waffles. The fried chicken was juicy crispy and flavorful. This is a great, classic diner-type spot for breakfast or brunch in Toluca Lake. We had a party of three that came on a Sunday at 9:00 a.m, and were seated right away. The coffee is delicious, but they also have lattes with images of famous celebrities as latte art, which was really well done. A member of our party is a huge fan of Janet Jackson and they were able to do latte art of her, even though she wasn't listed on the menu as an option.
