Recommend doing a mega and saving the second half for dinner or lunch the next day. Been to lots of chain and small sandwich spots - Jimmy John's knows how to make bread and a sandwich. You won't go wrong with any of them, but especially this spot. Next to the free way and a good spot that healthy, fast, and good.“
“I always stop by when I'm at the Camarillo outlets. Years ago, Charleys had a "cordon bleu" on the menu - nothing but turkey, ham & Swiss, but they don't have it on the menu anymore. When it's not busy, I ask for one & always have to explain it. Sometimes, it's like I'm not speaking any language they have ever heard. "OK, give me a turkey & cheddar, but replace 1 slice of turkey w/ 1 slice of ham & instead of cheaddar, use Swiss" - this is usually what works & they look very proud of themselves when they get it right. Which is sort of sweet. I'm always frustrated that they make the sandwich & then the fries, so that while the fries are flesh-searingly hot, the sandwich gets sort of lukewarm, sometimes worse. I do love that they have malt vinegar for your fries. But, the staff is usually very patient, which can turn around to "the staff has no concept of urgency", depending on my mood. It's in a food court, so the cleanliness of the eating area & availability of space is variable.“

“I recently was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. So finding places that offer gluten free bread can be challenging. My husband went to the Jersey Mikes location that we love especially Jorge, the manager and his staff are always attentive and great with making our sandwiches. The person making my gluten free sandwich even cleaned everything off knowing that the customer, me, had an allergy to gluten which she asked about and took all the necessary steps to ensure there was no cross contamination. “I really enjoy subway. I’ve noticed it’s one of the few places I can eat without gastro issues. Sometimes it’s a hit or miss on quality. I tend to get wraps because you never know if you’ll be getting real bread or concrete. The veggies are usually fresh. My order is usually right. I do order pick up most of the time so haven’t had hardly any interactions with the employees. The place is nearly always clean (nearly).You really can diet and eat here, too. I’ve lost weight since I started eating at subway more. I enjoy the veggie sand or the rotisserie chicken. If you get the rotisserie chicken with the sweet onion sauce it’s a better quality version of the sweet onion teriyaki sandwich (I don’t like the processed chicken strips).My suggestion to this location is to try to manage the bread better. You shouldn’t be serving rock hard day old bread.“
“I have been going to urbane cafe for about 2 years now, at least once a month if not more. Their salmon bowl is what really got me hooked but at the Camarillo Daily Dr location I had a frustrating experience with one of the staff not wanting to accommodate the salmon salad to my food allergy. Previous experiences I have had with a young man he has gladly changed the dish for me. This is the type of customer service I am used to from them. I am disappointed by my visit today to say the least, I still love Urbane and 99% of their staff. Please be kinder to people who have allergies, we still want to enjoy food just as much as other people.Dietary restrictions: won't accommodate for allergies“
