“My husband and I had an amazing experience at Latitude for our anniversary! To start, the food was fantastic. I ordered the Filet Mignon medium rare with potatoes au gratin and asparagus, and my husband ordered the Bistro Burger medium rare. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing! My husband said it was the best burger he'd ever had. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and the STAR of the show was our waitress, Katie. She was quick and professional, but also attentive, so sweet, and overall just fantastic. Thank you so much, Katie and the rest of the staff and chef for an amazing anniversary dinner! We will definitely be back!”

This time I decided to add rainbow sprinkles and that added another level of flavor and texture that I really enjoyed. I love that it's not super sweet, but just enough sweetness!! I think the owners name is Matt, he makes great drinks and is quite entertaining, if you are ok with old school humor. He definitely enjoys his work and is very good making everyone comfortable and likes to have fun. I recommend you give this place a try. This place has something for everyone”

“Andrew was superb in assisting us with our bowl. Not only was he patient, he was very attentive to any questions we had. This location is clean, simple but inviting. We ordered a large Acai base 3/4 filled and topped to our hearts desire. While I don't usually opt for chocolate, my brother wanted to try it so we ended up with a surprisingly good mix of fruits and sweets. Definitely won him over as he wants to return again lol! They have a number of bases to choose from and while it's so hard to pick, Acai is my go to. Can't wait to return and try different types of variety.”

“Great place for appetizers, happy hour, ambience, and good music. We saw Smokey and Friends play, they were so good I don't think I'd ever wanna come back unless they were playing. The service was a bit slow. And we had to keep flagging down our waitress. If you are looking for a big meal, don't. All the plates are pretty small. Other than their salad, they look large and amazing.”

“This restaurant is a gem. We rediscovered it after a long time away. The service is EXCELLENT! The ambiance is wonderful. You can tell the owner cares about his customers and his staff. The food is delicious! We had the meatball appetizer, various pasta dishes with oil and garlic or basil. Also the eggplant and policastro were yummy. Wine list is well thought out and reasonable. “Their deli is a hidden gem.A friend recently tried their jam packed classic Italian sub and it looked so good I had to try it myself.I never even knew this deli existed.Jim happily welcomed my family for the 1st time and was kind enough to let us sample some of their fresh homemade bread and a hot calabrese that I might like in my sub.Sandwich itself was both delicious & stuffed with a heaping portion of ingredients like peppers, provolone and more. (Best part is whatever you like they’ll find a recommendation fit for you in a sandwich)Definitely would be back ??”

“My family and I visit this establishment almost weekly. I absolutely love their peggys chicken sandwich, delicious, everytime! For kids i do not recommend their grilled cheese, it's almost like taffy on really thick bread. The place is nice , good atmosphere. My only "con" is the service when they get busy. It seems as if when they get busy all the servers panic. Which I guess falls on management, but when it is not busy, amazing service. Good conversation with the servers, they seem happy, but the second it gets busy, seems like they forget orders, takes way too long to receive drinks, and servers seem as if in a panic. All in all I wouldn't recommend this place on weekends but otherwise 100%.”

“This was my first visit and I'm happy to say that I was pleasantly surprised! I can understand the name, "Hidden Cafe". Our car GPS was even off by one street; I think this was the fault of poor phone reception on my part. This little gem of a restaurant was well worth the visit. The food was fantastic, with many choices to try on future visits. I'm my opinion the food was priced just right, no prices seemed out of line. The servers were very attentive and the refills on drinks and extra napkins were quick to arrive at our table. There is inside seating and patio seating. Space heaters too for chilly days. It's easy off and on the 101 freeway at the Camarillo Springs exit. I ordered chili Verde omelet with flour tortillas and O'brian (sp?) potatoes. Fresh salsa on request. So tasty ?”

I especially recommend the chicken adobo, and the house favorite Filipino donut is super yummy(everything is freshly made as well) I am always pleased with the service. Even when the shop is busy I never have to wait long to get my order. Just a tip, I recommend ordering in store rather than ordering online because the online menu is being updated. “B I G shoutout to Melissa L. for putting The Local on my radar. This bar is tucked away in an unassuming shopping plaza in a quiet neighborhood, but once you walk in, you know you're in for a good time. I've always been a fan of dive bars and have been to quite a few, but this bar stands out in so many great ways. Right after walking in, you can see that The Local has so many locals -- everyone knows everyone and is having a great time. The atmosphere is lively, fun, and welcoming to anyone new. Not only does The Local have great beer on tap, they also specialize in craft cocktails! There's a variety to choose from, they all look beautiful, and I'd say they'd rival high-end bars. I've tried a few, and as a non Whiskey drinker, I was surprised to say Honey 4 my Honey is my favorite so far. All of the bartenders I've met so far are awesome, especially Victor and Jen. They are great at what they do and they have fun banter with the locals. Even the owner, Mikey, takes time to chat and is so passionate about his bar. The last thing that makes The Local my go-to bar now is that it is c l e a n! I love that I can walk around without having my shoes stick to the floor and that I can actually use the restroom when I need to. If you've ever been to even one dive bar, you'd know what I mean. Besides the above, they have a must-have pool table and a few other table games. While the actual bar isn't too big, I can see it getting packed, so if you're planning a visit with a larger group, plan ahead to snag a table and I'll see ya there! *Hot tip: while there isn't food served here, you can order food delivered to The Local and enjoy it there!”

“Great local restaurant. We did date night here this week and were pleasantly surprised by the food and atmosphere. It was packed. They had live music with was a nice touch. They have a very interesting menu with a lot of good choices. The buffalo cauliflower appetizer was perfect; crispy, flavorful and hot! The preach fuzz cocktail was yummy; a hint of sweet team and peach! We shared the delicious Agora Waldorf salad with chicken and a sausage flatbread. The salad was well-balanced, fresh and delicious! It's hard to find these salads around and this one was right-on! I loved the light vinaigrette dressing instead of a heavy blue cheese. The flatbread was crispy in the crust, chewy inside and the sausage was a standout. The beer onions didn't seem to complement the flavor, so we took those off, but the fontina was a nice rich choice for the cheese. This location has changed hands quite a bit over the many years, but Twisted Oak seems to have hit a right balance of food and atmosphere. They've definitely outlasted their predecessors and we are looking forward to returning soon.”

“Don’t judge a book by its over. Once you walk through the doors you are transported to another place. This restaurant is beautiful and a peaceful place to enjoy a tasty meal. The menu features both Thai and Peruvian food. We ordered Peruvian dishes that were incredible. The meat was very tenderized and flavored in a way that will having you craving it for days after your visit! Amazing service and a must try if you’re in the area looking for something new.”

Suggestion to owners if you want to increase dine in patrons and just make your plce look more appealing - turn on the lights inside, especially the individual booth lights and put up a screen or planter separating the dine in area from the lobby and cash register”

The gal behind the register was friendly and the flavors were definitely there.We ate Chinese but we simply do not have the energy to make so many dishes and to be honest all the chopping and dicing. Nope!I'm that slightly lazy Asian who will not make Chinese food unless I'm threatened.I think this family is from China as their flavors have a sweetness to it rather than the tart in Taiwan. Still, food was quite good and much closer than Monterey Park/Arcadia.Will be back.”

“Although the restaurant was pretty empty I thought it was good. They were out of a few things like the albondigas soup. The chips and salsa were good. I heard they use to not serve those. I got a shrimp empanada as an appetizer and I liked it. The enchilada plate was good. The bartender was attentive and refilled my coke a couple of times. The ambience could be good if busier because the interior is really nice. The food was good solid Mexican food and who can't root for a restaurant named for an endangered amphibian. I hope more people come because it was good and I think with time it will get even better.”

“Love this place. For starters, you need to go to happy hour in the back, great drinks and menu. If we miss the happy hour, then I always order the mole enchiladas. The mole is authentic, not too chocolatey, not too spicy (at least for me) just right. The owner, his family and staff are very attentive. Don't let the exterior fool you to think this is a hole in the wall. It's always busy with locals!”

Rolls were flavorful with great mouthfeel, alternatively crunchy, creamy, salty, umami. Nummy! Miso was bleh but the cucumber salad lept out of the bowl. Mussels were very good if you like Mussels.”

He's really stepped it up recently with his recipes and flavor and it is again one of the better Chinese restaurants in Ventura County.”

Recommend doing a mega and saving the second half for dinner or lunch the next day. Been to lots of chain and small sandwich spots - Jimmy John's knows how to make bread and a sandwich. You won't go wrong with any of them, but especially this spot. Next to the free way and a good spot that healthy, fast, and good.”

Seriously impressive. Those new cantina tacos are really freaking good too. Idk if taco bells everywhere are this good nowadays but this one has had such a increase in quality over the years. Taco bell used to be my least favorite fast food place next to burger king, but now it's consistantly one of my first choices for fast food, next to in n out and McDonald's. I used to hate taco bell but everything has just gotten so much better over the years, even if they do remove some stuff I really like every so often.”

Went back to the store being that I was charged for something I didn’t want to order and the manager was extremely helpful. She apologized profusely for the mistake and refunded my money while comp’ing a couple drinks. Small error but was very helpful in correcting and making it right. The torta was a great size, the bread was very soft and nice but the meat wasn't seasoned much. The most flavor I got was from the jalepenos. 7/10 they just need to season the meat more!”

I have to say that the dishes we ordered had its unique taste to it. We tasted that the dishes were a tad bit sweeter than the other restaurants. The Tom kha noodle soup was much more coconuty and thick in taste. It was delicious! We had also ordered the Pad Woon sen, pad see ew, and pad kee mao. All the dishes were delicious and filling. “OMG?!?! The Green Olive Camarillo is hands down without a doubt, the BEST Mediterranean spot in Camarillo!! :0 This is my second time getting their Filet Mignon beef kabob. The first time hit the spot and something about today just sent me to Heaven and back. Maybe it's because I added a shrimp skewer. OMG. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly medium rare. The shrimp and filet mignon were both sooooOoo juicy. The shrimp was seasoned perfectly and the filet had a nice char on the outside!! I've had their chicken kabobs before, but nothing beats this filet mignon/shrimp combo. Absolutely wow. If only you can smell the picture of my food from the screen. I took a few bites of my food and had to run to Yelp to write a review, it's that good. 10000000000/10 love love love.”

“We've been to Blvd Brgr several times and have never been disappointed! I ordered the Blvd burger and my husband got El Fuego. They were both delicious! If you are a french fry person, the Blvd fries are for you! The feta and mint combination with the garlic aioli is to die for! And the onions rings were cooked to perfection. The kids also enjoyed their burgers and loved playing the arcade games. There's plenty of seating for families and the service is very friendly.”
