“Delicious, good quality, authentic, Mexican food and a street taco picnic table truck sit down environment. You can tell the owners care about every detail because they even put fresh flowers on the picnic tables the day we visited. Pretty sure they're only open Friday Saturday and Sunday but if you're lucky enough to be there on a weekend, it's definitely worth a meal! The guys working in the truck making the food are super kind and lovely human beings. Both service and food are five stars in my book!“

“I wanted to do something very special for my wife's birthday and took her to Robin's restaurant. From the time that we arrived, we were greeted right away and were seated in the best part of the restaurant. Keep in mind every corner of this place was fantastic. Our server Robert was very attentive and friendly. We were provided some great options from the menu and the food did not disappoint. We enjoyed our dinner experience. My wife was surprised with a delicious dessert as they sang her happy birthday. The biggest delight for us was after we completed our meals and desserts, the owner came by our table to ensure we enjoyed everything. We highly recommend this place and will definitely come back.“
“I realized that I never updated my review for Moonstone Cellars. I clearly liked this place, cause ya girl has been a wine club member since 2011 (you do the math). I just recently upgraded my club from 3 bottles to 6 bottles. I basically got a max discount now. Well worth it! The wine is so yummy, you'll want to join this club. The reds are the best, but they have some tasty whites as well. The Cabernet Sauvignon is my favorite, and that they have Petit Syrah, get it. For whites, the Albarino is nice and dry, def not too sweet. Parking wise, there's a lot across the way as well as street. The restroom is located in the parking lot as well.“

“Really nice place with good food. Had a great sandwich for lunch. The service was really great as well, never felt ignored or forgotten. Went on a Saturday, and the area was a bit busy, so it took a bit to find parking.Tip: there was a card thing on the table that gets you 10% off at their shops. Just don't forget to use it if you buy anything.“

“Honestly, the coffee and customer service at this location leaves something to be desired. However, some of the food items I tried here with friends were delicious. They have a good breakfast burrito, and they also have a great cheddar & chive scone, along with their mixed berry scone. If I am in the area again, I believe I would just go for the food at this place. This place has cute interiors, and there are seats available outside, but unfortunately, it was raining the day we visited, so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor seating.“

“We stopped in the cute little town of Cambria before heading north to San Fran. This restaurant was delicious and I would highly recommend it. I had the Chicken Shawarma plate and it was really good. My sister had the Falafel plate and ate the whole thing too.The server was very nice but you could tell he was busy as he was the only one for about 4 tables. We highly recommend this restaurant if you end up in this cute area!“

“Best Halibut on the Central Coast! Love the calamari more than words can say! Incredible clam chowder is always a plus as are the hot crusty dinner rolls! Fabulous desserts if you still have any room left at the end of the meal? We keep getting the dessert to go and eating it later. Half the fun is waiting an hour or more in line for this gem to open. It's actually fun! We've met so many people over the last 6+ years that we've been coming here. You need to arrive early and with cash (cash only place!) but it is so worth it! We drive the half hour regularly to stand in line and wait for the inevitable food orgy to begin. lol“

“We went for my birthday dinner and had the most amazing experience. When we walked in we greeted by a lovely young woman who took us to our table she let us know the specials for the evening. We had the most amazing waiter Giovanni. We cannot say enough good things about “Geo”. I had the filet that was so tender I could cut it with my fork! It just melted in my mouth. He had the catch of the day which was Halibut. For desert we had a slice of the chocolate cake. Amazing! Now for the staff. Everyone in there was so polite. Very professional. Our water glasses were always full, the minute we finished a dish they were taken away. The young man who came over to tell us about the desserts (I wish I got his name) was awesome also. I wanted to speak to a manager when we left to tell them in person what an amazing job their staff does. ( But no manager was available.)Thank you again for amazing experience.“

“Fast and friendly service at this little breakfast nook in Cambria. The food wasn't too shabby. I normally hate pancakes (unless I make em ) but theirs are really good. I ate my whole thing which again, isn't my norm. The sausage was tasty and so were the mimosas despite what seems to be an entire orange for the garnish Now, those grits could use a little work. In fact they could use a lot of work. You can't serve a Georgia girl bland undercooked grits! Ya just can't! I had to return them to be cooked completely and asked for salt to be used with some cheese added. They did cook them more but added a grain of salt and a few shreds of cheese. Lordt! I created good ol' southern grits out of them by adding scrambled eggs and pieces of sausage and bam--all better! This is, however, a place I'd come back to when in Cambria. You're welcome“

“Best view on moonstone. The patio is amazing. Definitely sit on the patio if you get the choice. If it's cold out they have nice heaters out on the patio as well. Food is good not always consistent. But I've never had a bad experience. Staff is super friendly. And when you're in there if you need a sweatshirt. They sell sweatshirts at a great deal and heavy duty. For those cool walks on the beach.“

“We stopped in for a quick beer and a burger. I know it's a pizza place and a burger? And I will admit the pizza pies looked pretty darn good. But My "Marion Davies" mushroom burger was spot on. And perfectly fried onion rings on the side was a perfect match. I enjoyed my burger at a pizza place and I'd do it again. Nice spot to try, give it a try. Cheers“

“A cute and quaint little restaurant! I sat at the bar and absolutely loved the vibe of this place, the bar top is gorgeous and hand crafted by the owner Victoria. The vibe of the restaurant is very intimate, very homey feeling. It only seats 18 so it's small but I really enjoy this type of atmosphere. This is my second time here and both times I thought the food was fabulous, very clearly fresh ingredients. I will certainly be back on my next visit!“

“My wife and I had dined here in the past before Yelp. Today while I was in Cambria solo for the week, I decided to have breakfast here. Having tried other places in town over the past few years, I think this restaurant surpasses the rest. It's a quaint local favorite with a warm and inviting dining room with windows that look out to the spacious dog friendly patio with umbrellas and canopies. My Cambrian breakfast was very good. Eggs, potatoes, sausage and biscuits with gravy. This is a true Cambria dining spot, perfect for breakfast and is obviously a favorite for many returning customers who are warmly greeted by the friendly staff. We will be back for sure.“

“Cambria Pines Lodge is simply stunning from the outside! Pulling into the ample parking lot I was impressed. Just off the main lobby is a nice looking bar area with fireplace, live music, etc. I could hang out there all evening. We were there for dinner though in the restaurant. I made reservations through their website which were easily honored, although they missed the part about it being our anniversary. Service was professional and efficient although rather impersonal. The restaurant overall is beautiful despite their seriously dated and somewhat tacky vinyl table"cloths". I think we were definitely the youngest patrons here, which at the age of 50 was noticeable. Anytime I visit a new restaurant I always study the menu well in advance and know what I'm going to order. I had my heart set on the Lobster Mac & Cheese but was sadly informed they were "out of". Even though we arrived at opening time. My Plan B was the Chicken Piccata which I really enjoyed. Prepared with capers, artichoke, etc in a delicious creamy sauce. Mashed taters were fresh tasting and well prepared. Veg side was tasty, seasoned and cooked to a nice al dente. My wife's filet mignon was another chapter entirely but to make a long story short, it was re-fired and comped 50% thanks to the thoughtful manager.“

“Coming from Southern California, I know good Mexican food, and this is really good! My carnitas taco was so tasty. My granddaughter had an enormous cheese and chicken relleno that she loved. They have a clever menu that allows you to add on extras and customize your order. Service was prompt and polite. The decor is cute. Nice vibes. Absolutely would recommend!“

“We wanted clam chowder. We did research and looked at a lot of reviews, but we were talking to a waitress from another restaurant, she said if you want clam chowder, you need to go to West End bar and Grill, and she was right. It’s so happens. That’s where all the locals were eating so you know it’s got to be good and reasonably priced. It’s the best clam chowder I’ve ever had.“

“Be prepared to wait a while for your food, more than twenty minutes. The waitress that "helped" us was a young brunnette. Very pleasant and bubbly. However, she never came back to check on us once we were served and we were ready for the check. It was the other young girl that came and offered refills and more napkins. The older gentleman was very pleasant too.We ordered different items: The Mexican taco plate was blahh. The beans and the rice tasted like reheated food and the meat had to flavor. No lime or lemon for the tacos either. The salsa was good.My daugher ordered the personal pepperoni pizza. It was on the very salty side. My son ordered the cheeseburger combo. He really liked it. My husband ordered the meatball sandwich. It was good.“

“We had a 7:30pm reservation. There were only a few other tables. The server was not attentive to us or the other diners. Maybe they were short staffed in the kitchen because we didn't see him out front. When all of the other diners were gone, we sat and waited for our check for about 10 minutes. I finally went to look for someone. The host was at the other end of the bar on his phone. The food was very good but not memorable.“

“Just terrific! We had crab cakes, barbecued oysters, fish and chips with pinot Grigio wine, and each bite and sip was as satisfying as a meal can be. Lovely service, quirky decor of the kind we especially appreciate -- nothing cookie-cutter, nothing pretentious.I'd go back in a happy second.“

“Such delicious, fresh, bountiful dishes! The four of us each ordered something different and LOVED our meals and appetizers. My salad even had tiny slices of cucumber cut in flower shapes. Really great Pad Thai, Green Curry Chicken, Tom KhaKai soup, salad with chicken, veggie satay and veggie spring rolls. Just a delightful meal. The menu is very diverse and you can request your dish to be prepared spicy.“

Will definitely be back to try more stuff on the menu!“

“Driving along Moonstone Beach area, we found the Cow Tipper and decided to stop for a quick coffee and breakfast. Looked like kind of a fast-food place inside, and we weren’t expecting much. However, the food was great! Three large, fluffy pancakes with added crisp bacon were delicious! Eggs over easy, with chicken-apple sausage and tasty, well-seasoned home style potatoes were excellent! Starbucks coffee topped off the meal. The chef knows what he’s doing!! Also, have to say that the man taking our order was friendly, helpful, and changed the feel of the place from fast food to a welcoming restaurant! He really was charming and we asked his name so we could give a shout out to him. So thank you, Blake, for making our first visit so pleasant! Hope your boss reads this review!!“
