“We stopped by on a Saturday evening to see live music by Rob and Denise. The Porch was really nice inside and food and service were excellent. They have burgers, salads, and sandwiches and a unique selection of bar bites. They also had a good selection of local beers, wines, seltzers, and Kombucha (not a full bar). Live music every Saturday from 5:30p - 7:30p. We will be back again!“

“Anytime we visit SLO, we have to go to Ziggy's. It's one of our favorite restaurants in the area. The KCK salad is my favorite. The perfect amount of sweetness, spice and crunch. The food and service is always great.Vegetarian options: It is a vegan restaurant. Everything is vegetarian.“

“This is one of our favorite breakfast and lunch spots. My personal favorites are the breakfast quesadilla and the fried chicken salad. My husband’s favorite item is the mimosas. The staff are always super friendly and fast moving. We place orders for pickup now and then and they’re always on top of it. They can get very busy so you may need to wait for a seat sometimes, but it’s just because they are a local favorite. There is indoor seating but we love the back patio. There’s a large open “bowl”-type area, I’m not really sure what its purpose is, but my kids love running around in it. We also see people with their dogs back there pretty often. It’s nicely shaded and there is a large water fountain. To get to the bathrooms, you have to go outside and up the stairs, or there is also an elevator. Make sure you read the code off the A-frame chalkboard before going up.Parking: Parking can be rough. There are other businesses that share the building so it’s not open parking wherever you want. While there is a small, tight, parking area right up front in front of the main entrance, we always drive straight to the back of the lot, and come into The Nest from the back patio entrance. There’s usually better parking in the back.“

“We were immediately greeted and seated (we made reservations online in advance)... our waitress greeted us within a short period of time and took our cocktail order... I'm happy they offer my favorite wine, Austin Hope Cabernet by the glass... I've only known Ember to offer it!... My son ordered a Ni Rada? Martini that tasted how I imagine a household cleaner to taste, he reluctantly sucked it down... we didn't bother to complain but we wouldn't recommend it... he later ordered a Paper Plane Martini which he liked better... After reading other reviews, I see we didn't get the initial bread w/Ricotta offering, probably for the best since we've cut down on gluten and wanted to try a pasta dish... We started with a (not pictured) POLPETTE (large meatball) and it was moist, flavorful, & yummy... alongside PAPPARDELLE RAGU, I was hesitant about it due to not being a fan of lamb... however, it was cooked perfectly without any hint of the game flavor I dislike... my only complaint is there isn't a gluten-free pasta substitute option... It may not be Michelin standard... but it would be great to have some gluten-free Ancient Harvest pasta with any of those yummy ragu/pasta sauces available for the many people with gluten sensitivities... MARY'S 1/2 CHICKEN was flavorful and yummy with the silky mashed potatoes... and the melt-in-your-mouth OSSO BUCCO and tasty polenta did not disappoint!... The atmosphere is cozy with home-style elegance... From the initial welcoming greeting, the friendly & timely food service, the "in-tune" staff that directs you to the restroom without having to ask, the constant spotting of Nate's friendly smile as he ensures his operations are running smooth and the thanks for your patronage as you leave... our experience was pleasantly memorable... This was my 2nd visit to Nate's... the first time I had the pork chop which was flavorful, tender and simply superb... We will return!“

“Amazing. In town for a soccer tournament and it came up in Yelp since I probably have eaten lots of Peruvian food before. Nestled inside a liquor store don't be fooled The food is as good or better than any fancy silicon Valley Peruvian restaurant. Tables and comfortable. Nice people. You order at the counter. My wife had Loma Saltado The meat was very tender. I had a chicken sandwich and my son had the sandwich also very tasty. bread was really good too. We had a side of ceviche which was packed with shrimp and fish. Authentic drinks too not just inca cola but others from Lima. Even some nice grocery items like aji Amarillo and rocoto pepper paste. Lastly some Andean crafts and clothing items.“

“Been here twice now and am super impressed. The standard issue vegan pizza is delicious, and the sauce is incredibly flavorful and the crust is good. The menu says you can make the veggie pizza vegan as well but I haven't gotten over how tasty the vegan one is. Customer service is also really great and good overall vibe.“

“Great spot in Atascadero. They are fairly new and took over the old Burrito Express location. Though they have the same menu I was told they are not affiliated. Ordering through their web site or app "from the restaurant" is super easy. I had a chile relleno burrito and it was delicious! Came back two weeks later for another. This time I also ordered a carnitas burrito for my Gramma. She loved it. Not too many places in the north county to rave about when it comes to Mexican food but this place has not disappointed. Another important thing is the prices. Very reasonable!! I have paid much more for much worse. Staff is friendly. Inside the restaurant is a big space for dining and attached they have a banquet room that can be rented for parties! Congratulations to the new owners I wish you much success! Can't wait to come back and try another dish.“

“One of the best places on the Central Coast. This hidden gem is on the 41, between Downtown Atown and Morro Bay. This renovated garage/barn turn modern ranch chic is the home to a fresh/natural/modern culinary experience. Once you enter you are greeted and have menu's on a little table at the door. When you're ready, you go up and order. I ordered the Rock Burger (Beyond Meat and no Bacon), comes with fries, the Bahn Mi Tots and Beer Battered Onion Rings. The Rock Burger is what you want. Beautiful fluffy Brioche bun from Back Porch Bakery, Central coast creamery blue cheese bringing the funk/creamy/saltness to cut through the burger, the caramelized onions for sweetness, the fresh mixed greens for that earthy bite, and whole grain mustard sauce for a little more acidity. The fries are done to salty, crispy, yet soft inside perfection. The Beer battered onion rings are served the a beautiful house made ranch and bbq sauce. Cooked perfect, just wish there was more. And the Star of the show, Bahn Mi Tots. The mix of tots, fresh vegetables, creamy sauce, soft meets crunch, vinegar balanced by fatty creaminess of the sauce, gives you full Umami! Just an awesome concept, that works to the fullest! The power went out while we were there with our friends from out of town and instead of kicking us out, they brought over candles (which was made by someone dinning in at the time) and asked if we needed anything. This is truly a first class operation and am honored to say they are in my own backyard. We've introduced many to them and we'll introduce many more.*What happened to the CHEESE CURDS?*“
“Outstanding family owned winery. All of the wines were very good, with the Sangiovese and the Zinfandel being our favorites. The tasting room was very nice and comfortable, and Lucas was a fantastic host, making us feel welcome and sharing some great stories. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Great place for us to take our kids and also enjoy a beer. We appreciate that they are providing a family-friendly spot with things for kids to do, because there are not many places around here. 4/5 because not a fan of the food sadly, but the staff & beers are fantastic. Try the sour honestly one of the best I’ve ever had!“

“I've been to CT Cafe multiple times and I always get the country skillet. My eggs were prepared perfectly and all of my substitutions were delicious! - At first, I was bummed that the addition of a pancake was an up charge of $1.50. However, I ended up making the decision to get the applesauce (included) and I was so happy about it! It's a chunky cinnamon applesauce and I definitely recommend getting this side. - As always, the staff was polite and helpful. This is one of my favorite spots in central California.“

“We visited earlier this week from out of town and had a very nice time at Linnaea's cafe. The employees were so kind, and let my kids feed the fish. “Everything was very good, especially the service. Crystal is wonderful. The sand dabs we had were perfectly prepared–lightly sautéed and delicate. My only complaint, and it is a mild one, was the piccata sauce on the sand dabs. It may just be a personal preference, but I thought the sauce needed a touch more lemon for balance. I've had their Scampi Piccata and I thought the sauce was much better on that dish. We will be back.“

“This was my second visit. Today I tried the chilaquiles which is a new menu item. I normally like them in a red sauce but the green tomatillo sauce was fresh and delicious with just the right amount of spice. The potatoes were flavored deliciously and the staff is really nice.“

“I’ve got some fond memories of Gino’s pizza. I was a broke cosmetology student at the school next door to their Pismo location. So when I did have the means, I’d treat myself to Gino’s. Everyone I’ve taken there LOVES it as well. The Mexican pizza is a staple among the rest of their delicious food. I always recommend this place. No matter if I’m in Santa Maria or anywhere else.“

“My granddaughter keeps telling me I needed to eat here! We had takeout last week and she was right. The food is good, yes, but even the refried beans tasted creamier! Everything was fresh, dinners came with fresh lettuce, chopped tomatoes and sour cream on the side and the salsa and guacamole was fantastic. Now our #1 favorite here in A-town. It's also closest to our house, even better!!“

“Ordered a Chile relleno a la carte, good value for the price. Best Chile relleno I have ever had, hands down. It had lots of cheese, the batter was flavorful and the sauce was excellent. Also ordered two cheese enchilada combo to go. Nice big portion. The beans were delicious, rice was light and fluffy, enchiladas were amazing. The chips however were stale.. I'm sure the chips are fresh during the day. I did go late, 30 mins before closing. The restaurant was empty and there was no music playing. The decor is a little plain. Nice comfy booths with plenty of room for a big guy. My Modelo cheladas were very good as well. I'll definitely be back and recommend the Chile relleno to anyone who will listen.“

“When I lived in Atascadero, Hush Harbor was the place to go to get the best croissants in the county. The Black Forest ham croissant in the morning sold out quick. If you're fortunate enough to get one, you'll love it! A croissant that is flaky beyond comparison. I've lived in Central Oregon for 4 + years and have not found a better croissant than those at Hush Harbor. The quiche offerings are quite tasty too!“

“Stop #20 on my quest to hit as many Ike's as possible in 2023 brought me to San Luis Obispo where apparently all sandwiches come with jalapeño and picklesThe service here was great. Super friendly especially to my kids and not at all overwhelmed when I ordered 6 sandwiches and two orders of kids nuggets. Spot was clean, had plenty of seating. Only thing I'd change is adding more lunch boxes to the walls As always the food was top notch and enjoyed by my entire family. Thank you Ike's for your amazing grub“

“Went early in the afternoon on a Friday. We were seated quickly by a young man who seemed he didn't want to be working that day. Before our food came, we saw the same young man that seated us, cleaning tables with dirty towel and bucket, then leaving the dirty towel on top of the table before removing it. Our server was nice, and the food was tasty. Lastly, they could have had the place warmer, it seemed cooler inside than outside, and outside, it was in the 60's at best. With all that said, we all would go back, as the food was prepared well, and presented nicely.“

“This place was fantastic. We stopped in SLO on our road trip to Monterey Bay. The food and service were excellent. I'm stilling thinking about the sandwich I had. My family and I all swapped half of the sandwiches we ordered and couldn't decide which we liked the most. My son also had the kale salad which was wonderful too. We loved the outdoor patio because we were traveling with our dog. If I'm ever in SLO again we will definitely be returning.“

“Absolutely one of my most favorite places to eat. I feel so cozy and at home when dining here! Family cooked meals with love and also the kindest people as well! The Thai Tea is always a delight for a good and refreshing drink! Yum yum yum!“
“It's been awhile since we have been to this cider house! This was our go to place in the area until other cider houses opened with outdoor spaces! Given we were staying nearby by, we popped in for a drink or two! And I am glad we did! This cider house has really developed since we've been here last! If you like traditional British cider, then this is your place! If you fancy sweet cider like ACE, then you make want to skip this place! This place offers really dry ciders! Typical of what you will find in the UK! So the name of this cider house is appropriate! The cider are also strong: ciders range from 7-11 percent! Yes 11 percent: that's a good punch for a cider! All the ciders were great! We appreciate the bartender in letting us sample the ciders before getting our pints! The cider house also features music! During music nights the place fills up: so get there early for a good seat! The couch is super comfy! In summary: definitely worth the stop if you like dry cider!“

“Stopped here with a large family group on Sunday. Even though they were busy, our waiter, Gabriel was right there to see if we had any questions about the menu and who was wine tasting. My husband and I had already had lunch, so we just did the tasting menu. The lunches everyone ordered looked delicious and everyone commented on how much they enjoyed their food. The only disappointment was some of the wines. The first two on the tasting menu, the Pinot Noir and the 1st Merlot were very good. Nose and palate were delightful....and then we came to the second Merlot. Very acidic, not smooth and soft like the first one. We actually all poured it out. I had hopes for the Cabernet Sauvignon and the Petit Syrah, but they were both also very high in acidity and just not drinkable for us. Again, we all pretty much poured out the last three. I still wanted to give them 5 stars based on our great server, Gabriel; the delicious food and the very comfortable atmosphere.“
