“I ordered a birthday cake for my niece 18th birthday, which was a backyard tropical luau BBQ party. I sent Kate some pictures of the decorations, and she wrote back to me her idea for the cake. I'm sorry I don't have pictures but the cake was GORGEOUS. We got the funfetti and vanilla buttercream, and have to say it was the best cake and buttercream I have tasted too. I do a lot of amateur hobby baking, and my buttercream or cake does not come close. Absolutely will order from Kate again for special occasion cakes and creating beautiful memories!“
“I used to absolutely love going to this location as a kid but of course, just like everything else, this establishment is just not what it used to be. The workers I remember used to live working here and took pride in their work….I can’t hold the entire company to blame for their employees lack of enthusiasm though. So I give 4 stars. The ice cream is always very good and they have a lot of choices. Walking distance from the beach too.“

She's quite the busy bee but it's for a reason as you can see, but was still able to assist me in person and or via email promptly. Aside from the detailed description of what I wanted for my son's 1st birthday, Alicia really had no questions henceforth. I also told her, "I don't mind what you do, I trust you as an artist." I was happy just looking through all the yelp and website photos that I knew my expectations were going to be met but boy was I wrong! Expectations beyond met!! I picked up all the goods as directed and honestly my exceptions were well met and then some!! My jaw dropped and I was at a loss for words. Everyone loved the goods! How it looked, and how it tasted. My wife is a picky sweets eater and I do not eat sweets at all, but after having The Crimson Cake's sweets(Rasp/Pistachio & Coconut Creme!), Im definitely returning. “I do the drive from San Marcos to vista just for their bread. It’s always fresh and tastes amazing. The owners are extremely nice and welcoming bakery always look very clean and organized even the smallest details they stamp all their boxes of bread with their logo. The bread is just so delicious.“
“Food (5/5 stars): Cali Cream is a great ice cream spot in Encinitas! It's very similar to Handel's as they have lots of the same flavors and the 4 scoop sampler, which we ordered! My favorite by far was the Graham Central Station. I wasn't too thrilled about the other ones we ordered (Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Birthday Cake, and Faddy Daddy), but I'll be back to try more because the quality of their ice cream is amazing. “I came here for national froyo day because it was buy one get one free! They don't have that many flavors, but the froyo tastes good. There are more toppings than Yogurtland. The workers were friendly and I enjoyed my yogurt. I got the pistachio and cake batter flavor and it was delicious.“
