“Had the organic steel-cut oatmeal with strawberries and blueberries. Very well prepared on a cold morning. Also had the veggie quiche which was very good as well. Enough for two. Nice outdoor seating which is protected from rain, so our dog was happy too.“

Most items on the menu are between $5 and $15 dollars for edamame, cucumber salad, gyoza, and sushi or hand rolls. Beautifully presented and excellent service, everything fresh and yummy, in a very expensive restaurant town, this family owned Japanese Restaurant is a local secret.“
“This place has amazing food! The food might be the best I've ever had. The location was a couple of blocks off the main strip in Carmel. The restaurant itself was plain and had a diner feel to it but the food was top shelf. I do recommend it.“
“Roy’s is one of the premier food destinations in Pebble Beach. The chef has put his own twist on Hawaiian cuisine and the result is amazing. The place has both indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful views of the Monterey bay.The sushi is a must try, as is the fried calamari. The cocktails do full justice to the menu as well. “We LOVE Hula’s!! As Tiki Tuesday regulars now, we always come back for the great service (shout out to Dan especially! He is always so warm and friendly and makes great recommendations for specials and favorites!), fun and cozy atmosphere, and excellent food and drinks. I have never had a bad experience in all the times of coming here, and I always recommend the Godzilla tots and a Dr. Funk to all that come to Monterey. I also really appreciate the vegan options that they have as it can be difficult to accommodate my dietary needs with my friends and family who aren’t always also vegetarian or vegan. “The toro was amazing. Super fatty and fresh and it came with a homemade wasabi that really brough it all together.The other rolls were good, well above average (especially for the area). The tamago was a bit dry and overcooked.Will be back for the toro at the very least!“
“Probably the best poke place in Monterey county, the fish and vegetables are fresh and it's not too expensive. There isn't much place to eat inside but it's great for take out, especially lunch. Definitely recommend going here!“
“First one of the three I ever visited and still my favorite. The wonton soup is everything and the basil popcorn chicken is delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming. I eat solo and I don't feel rushed even though it's dinner time and the place is busy....honestly when you're eating hot soup it's not like you can rush....?“
“I hadn't eaten here for a long time and I'm not sure why. I recently downloaded their mobile app, and have found that it's super handy! There's no wait. I just walk up to the counter, am quickly greeted and handed my food. It's always piping hot! I try not to eat fast food. Chipotle, and now this place, are my go to places for a quick meal. I like the chicken teriyaki, the sauce is really good. The sticky brown rice and veggies are delicious. The veggies aren't soggy, and usually more al dente. I feel less guilty about calories when I order from here. I'm glad I returned to this place, as it seems to have improved a lot from my first experience.“
