“Stopped in here for lunch with my family, to start the girl who took our order was very nice and friendly, you order from the bar and find a seat and they bring over your food. Was on the pricey side, a Patty melt, cheeseburger, basket of fries, beer and bloody Mary was 52 bucks, the food was delicious and might bring me back for a second visit. It was a beautiful view looking out to the finely manicured grounds, now some cons, it was extremely loud inside, which made conversation difficult and the worst part was it was full of middle aged golfers that couldn't stop starring at me and my family, like we infiltrated there secret lair, hey golfer guys it is a public restaurant so take your eyes of me and look someplace else. The decor looks like it hasn't changed in decades, and why fix what is not broken? Exactly. Is it open or not? Well, bars rarely close around here. One way to find out, pull on a big wooden door. I really like when these places are dark inside, too. It reminds me of Europe. That's what happens when there are no windows. You really can't thumb your nose up at $4.50 drinks and $4 shots. Not that we did shots, but I did see the sign proudly advertising such activities. We liked our bartender and the regulars did not seem unfriendly at all. Engrossed in their own convos, sure. But I felt like I could probably join if I felt like it. I did not feel like it. There were a couple nice TVs with college football on. I did partake of the bathroom and the report is that she is clean and fresh smelling. Not sure if the popcorn is still around or if it is cash only. We paid in cash. There is a sink kitchenette in the back of the room, which added to the ambiance we enjoy. I also like that there are no windows, did I mention that? I did. Okay. A+ would recommend, will come again for cheap, stiff drinks, vibe check passed and all. Nothing better than a heavy-handed pour at $4.50. This is not a place to drive to if you're having more than a round or two. Alas, there is plenty of parking outside for the DD or rideshare. Cheers.“
“I’ve been here several times and they never disappoint. Their Bloody Mary you can’t have just one. Bring your appetite because everything on their menu is on par. Their staff are all friendly and courteous. The owner is the best. I’ve been coming here a long time so this is one of my go to spots for brunch, happy hour, lunch or dinner and drinks. Patio tables for outside seating are available too. Good vibes. Great fun place!“
“A great friendly, local place. Food was good, menu simple without frills (only dessert option is baklava and ice cream - but oh so good!). Staff was very friendly. It's a bit tight in space, but they fit in the tables (we had a wheelchair amongst us and was easy to navigate). Live games on TV at bar. Live belly dancers on Friday. A group of 5 for dinner - appetizers (best dolmathes in years, spanakopita was good too), salads, grilled plates, several beers & wine glasses, and awesome baklava ice cream, $178 plus tip. No complaints, I'll go back when in town again.“
“Holy guacamole!! This place is delicious! We were surprised when we walked in by how small it was. And glad we made a reservation ahead of time! First, the chips are so good! They have some sort of seasoning on them that really tales them up a notch. We were a table of six and got a variety of foods, everyone loved theirs. Very attentive service and the food came out fast. One mistake was made in our order and the food was remade incredibly quickly. Can't beleive we have lived down the street from this place for so long and never been!!! Definitely try this place if your in Carmichael, it's better than the other Mexican restaurants in the immediate vicinity“
