“Title: Hidden Gem in Oak Park - A Must-Visit Speakeasy!I have frequented Butterscotch Den multiple times and every visit has been an absolute delight. From the moment you walk in, the staff exudes warmth and professionalism, from the welcoming hostess to the talented mixologists crafting delicious drinks. Speaking of drinks, I have never had a bad one here - each sip is a flavorful experience. The ambience of the venue is top-notch, and the clientele always seems to add to the overall charm. It truly feels like a hidden gem in the Oak Park community - a little piece of sweetness waiting to be discovered. This place is a public speakeasy that I recommend to everyone looking for a great spot to enjoy an adult beverage. While I haven't tried the food service myself, I've seen others cooking their steaks at the cook table, and it looks like a fun and unique experience. The camaraderie among the guests at the cooking stations adds to the lively atmosphere of the place.During my last visit, the venue was celebrating birthdays and even had a bubble gun for guests to enjoy during their festivities. It's clear that the staff at Butterscotch Den goes above and beyond to create a memorable experience for their patrons.A special shoutout to the Butterscotch Den staff - you are all truly amazing! If you haven't had the chance to experience this place yet, I highly recommend you do. Don't miss out on this wonderful spot in Oak Park!I hope this review helps capture your positive experiences at Butterscotch Den!“

“While our visit had to be short we had delicious food and drinks. The combination of ingredients in our order (drinks and flatbread) was unexpected and turned out great. Left looking forward to visiting again to try something else which sounded unique.“

“Came here on a weeknight. Huge selection of drinks. Few non alcoholic drinks available. Limited menu. They have trivia games on Thursday night which can get loud. Note that they run tabs per table and won’t do individual checks. So, have a plan on who’s going to pay the table tab and how to reimburse that person.“

“I loved everything about dinner tonight at Canon. The esthetics of the inside is dark and cool but also open and comfortable, the food and service was top notch and share plates are a great way of getting to try multiples items on the menu. I would definitely recommend trying it out and I will be back again too❣️“

“Excellent place to watch a game. Bonus: sound is on for the Kings games! Extensive beer menu, full bar, pizza is delicious, and, for the gluten-free fans, the best gluten-free crust around. Friendly servers who give a damn. Highly recommend this locally owned small business.“

“If you are looking for a small intimate gathering of friends suite Nine is the place to go and really a local favorite hidden gem. If you plan to go on a Friday or Saturday night, expect to have a great time with karaoke as they have this every week.Service on drinks can vary depending on how busy the establishment is on a given night, weekends are usually a 5-10 minute wait for a drink but the staff are very friendly and outgoing. April on Friday nights and the KJ Rosalie are a double team duo that is sure to make your night entertaining and fun!If you're looking to play pool, they have two tables at $1.50 available to play, one of them doesn't always work all the time unfortunately so there could be a wait to play if only one of the tables are working.Drinks are always tasty and at a reasonable price for the area, unless you plan on going hard that night, you'll probably spend around $50-$70 a night per person.Highly recommend this establishment as one of the top places to go in rancho Cordova.“

“Everything was fantastic. For a party of 6 on a Saturday night right at dinner time, we barely had a wait. Service was quick and attentive, but not lurking or over your shoulder. Food was clearly fresh, well made and very flavorful. The night was a pleasure.Parking: There's plenty of parking, but it will fill up during peak days and times. If you're handicapped, plan ahead...as those spots may fill up fast.“

“Mattone's is a gem. The lasagne is spectacular! Being vegan, they made me their house-made spaghetti with a wonderful tomato sauce. The wine selections were also great. We've had several of their pastas now and each one was exceptional. Staff is also always very knowledgeable and helpful. Just a lovely place for dinner.“

“We had our wedding reception here back in September and it was a hit with all of our guests. Everything from the food to the cocktails to the service was exceptional for our special day and we couldn’t be happier. One of the things I greatly appreciate with the owner ( Sommer) and event coordinator/ GM (Greg) is the consistency of care, attention to detail, professionalism and staff friendliness. They just get the hospitality business and they understand what it means to create a welcoming environment from top to bottom. We had an absolute blast and will always support this amazing local business! Thanks y’all! If you’re thinking about having an event here, Just do it!“

“I live right near this bar so it comes in clutch whenever I wanna take a walk and have a little drinky drink . Only thing I will say negatively is that older lady at the bar, it seems like she picks and chooses who she wants to be short with (if you know what I mean) .. I’ve had no problems with the guy bartender and one of the younger girls named Shauna they are welcoming EVERYONE with open arms . This bar has so much potiental for EVERYONE.. don’t put all your eggs in one basket“
“It's been awhile since I've been here but was pleasantly surprised by the remodel. It isn't as dark and dank as it once was and they added more pool tables. Tables are a little pricy, one table is $1.50 per game which is fine but all the others are $12 an hour. While it was dead when we were there, we were literally the only ones, there also isn't much seating aside from around the bar. Bathrooms are connected to the bowling alley so it can get pretty messy in there from all the patrons on the bowling side. Another downside is they have no music! They have a touchtunes machine but that's it. If your not forking out $$$$ for songs, they have nothing playing. Overall, if you're looking to play some pool, this place could be an option. Just make sure to get the $1.50 per game table and not the hourly ones.“
“Cinders is a great bar with a large diversity in patrons and staff. The owner, Andy Soto is a fun open guy that will get down with anyone. Kevin Frankenstein is a great professional bartender. He pays attention to the patrons and recalls what you like to drink. Beast, security: Great guy with a gentle giant vibes. Ivys Entertainment on Wednesdays and Thursdays is really amazing! Has the best sound system.“

“I was told about this place but I always went down to another bar down the street . But this time around I stopped in and meet a friend. But I was amazed spacious it was inside. They have a dance floor with bands. Pool table. Dart boards. Add a shuffleboard. You don't see many of those around. The bartender was excellent. Great service. Even had a puppy Murphy Pizza they cooked up their great. If I didn't live too far away I would be there pretty much every night. Great atmosphere. If you happen to be in the area stop by say hello very friendly people I recommend this place to everybodyWheelchair accessibility: As far as I get to a wheelchair accessible“
“Tasty food, upscale casual ambience. My friend and I each ordered the salmon BLT, mine with fries and theirs with salad. Generous portions, delicious food, affordable prices. Sit in the cafe, the bar or outside on the front patio, wherever you can snag a table at this popular restaurant.“

“Love this local neighborhood joint! My boyfriend and I went here for a date night and we weren't disappointed. We loved that it was in walking distance and it had a nice patio for outdoor seating to enjoy the weather! I really enjoyed the tacos because I thought they were really authentic. The Vampiro taco was Al pastor with bits of pineapple, which I found refreshing to balance out the flavor. The carne asada taco was good but I think it needed something else on it like guacamole or salsa. I really liked the chips and salsa appetizer that we got because the salsa trio was well thought out: fried jalapeño, chili verde, and red salsa. All of them were homemade, which homemade, which is why I enjoyed them so much! Overall, we will be coming back over the summer!“
“ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS a good time here at The Office.Looking for a strong pour this dive bar is your place to be. I drink to celebrate life not escape it. Up for a challenge in a game of pool? Or just hang out with friends, new and old, all are welcome. You won’t be judged for day drinking either. ? ? Staff are friendly and attentive. ? iykyk“
“I just spent a few hours at The Long Shot today, and found it to be a terrific "Dive Bar" in Arden across from Whole Foods. The bartender was very attentive, as well as handsome, the drinks were well poured, and the customers were fun and talkative. Just what you're looking for at a bar. I highly recommend the bar. Next time, I'll try it at night, but I doubt it will be any more fun. PJ ( A happy Customer)“

“Excellent tacos and salsa. Super fresh tortillas. Make sure to eat promptly cause we tried saving a few tacos but the tortillas disintegrate. Flavor of the tacos and size is superb but still a little pricey. Only negative is our chips were beyond stale but all the entrees were wonderful.“

“Had dinner last night at Pete's Arden with a group of friends. The food was great but I have to compliment our server- Alyssa was absolutely great. Very attentive, she made sure all the meals were served at the same time and had no problem handling 8 separate checks. Thanks for a great evening with excellent service.“

“I always find myself heading to this establishment the last couple of years because of its proximity to where I live, the cleanliness, the ginormous Carne asada burritos + chips + salsa, affordable price and great service. I decided to mix it up this time and got a shrimp super burrito I ordered a to-go order on a Friday because I was in a rush to attend a meeting and the place was pretty packed with a lot of people arriving for lunch. Shrimp burrito = Great! Next time I'll request the burrito to be light on the wet ingredients when ordering to-go because I'm always afraid when burritos fall apart on me. It's no question I'll be returning as always in the future to get my burrito fix.“
“I went there with a group of friends for karaoke and the people are so welcoming and fun. One drink minimum to participate in karaoke and that's awesome to keep supporting this business. Will recommend for any one to go who just wants to grab a drink or sing your heart away.“

“On a date night, my husband and I decided to come try the lock and key tapas bar. Despite coming on a Saturday night, it was fairly empty. I was pretty disappointed with the initial lack of service - after being seated, it took almost 15 minutes for our server to acknowledge us and come get our drink order. I'm not sure if it was miscommunication or what. That initial hiccup aside, the drinks and tapas themselves were quite tasty. For my beverages, I started with the "Don't Worry Key" and finished with the "Lock Smith Mule". Both were tasty and refreshing. For our meal, we decided to try the patatas bravas, scallops, pork belly, and the arancini. Everything we tried was extremely tasty and what you would hope for from a tapas bar. All in all, I would definitely come back and I hope to see some seasonal rotation to the tapas menu.“

“Nice neighborhood bar with several pool tables, 2 dart machines and a few pinball machines. Its no longer Johnny's club 53 tho. There's a new owner and it's now called Time Out Tavern. Pool tournaments every Thursday night at 8pm.“
