“This is a colorful little strip mall spot with a great salsa bar and very friendly counter service. The salsa was fresh and there are several varieties to choose from. The wife got her favorite, Camerones a La diabla and the shrimp were clean, and simmered in a rich , red sauce. The rice and beans are perfect!! I had the shrimp taco fish taco plate. The tacos were loaded with a killer slaw, cilantro and onions, and a killer sauce. I was full off one taco but if you know me, you know I finished both. This place is 10/10 and if we lived closer, would be our go to Mexican spot.“
“I fell in love with these for the first time - on the corner of Madison / Oak College (roads), I was there recently - the best. From the car, the girl shouted "I also love Jaсk!". Dare, people love you, but this place on the corner of Manzanta/Marconi (roads): the outside and inside of should be nicer looking.“
“I stumbled across this place because I was craving birria tacos. I got the quesa birria tacos and they were hands down the best I’ve ever had. The restaurant is decorated so nice for Valentines and everything looked super clean. I went there twice within a week and had wonderful experience both times. The employees are super helpful and nice. Absolutely love this place!!“
“I was hesitating about eating at another Mexican taqueria because I'm not from this area, but let me tell you that I will definitely come back and I can't wait to do that. service great ,and the restaurant was clean, including the restroom. the food was very good tasting and I know Mexican food. the salsas were fresh and tasty. great atmosphere and very busy..I'll be back!“
“This is one of the best taquerias I've been to. Great food, attentive service, and comfortable atmosphere. It felt like we were sitting down to a family meal. The cook even came to our table to make sure we were satisfied with everything. All six of us were delighted with our meals and intend to return for more. Thanks, guys.“
“Stop in for the 3 taco plate and I picked the orange salsa and the grilled Serrano peppers as my choice for hot sauce. They did not disappoint at all that was fire. Looking forward to trying a burrito next time I'm over that way. Service was great and food was very fresh More of a grab and go spot inside is fairly small but super clean.“
“This place was great, they specialize in Tacos and they were full of meat, flavorful and had all the fixings. This place is a outside trailer with seating, I will be going back this weekend. Heads up, get at least 3 Tacos and you will be satisfied I got two the first time and had to go back and get another one because they are sooo good.“
“Came here as a quick pit stop and instantly became a fan of this place. You know a Mexican restaurant is going to be great by the amount of people are there in the morning. When I first walked in, the line was at the door. I ordered the menudo and a coffee. The menudo was phenomenal. Would come here again all the way from Atwater!“
“Great food great service and great people that own it .. everything is good depends on what you want for lunch or dinner they have great tacos great tri tip sandwiches and milkshakes good they cook there food right when you order it great place to go to get lunch or dinner recommend it have different prices for different things depends anywhere between 1,00 to 3.00 combo good price 9.00 12.00 but they give you lot when you orderParking: You have parking spots small parking area but it's goodKid-friendliness: Yes it's kid friendly but it's more for like take out orders then place you go to sit and eat atWheelchair accessibility: Has wheel chair accessibility“
“Super clean ! When i went the ladies had the dining area immaculate and we're very attentive as we ate. 10/10 would recommend anyone nearby to try the carne asada fries, quesabirria and fish tacos. Super generous portions served as well.“
“I love the tacos here so PLEASE DONT COME, IM TIRED OF THE LONG LINES! I just want to come get the delicious tacos and go, but so many people come and take all the hot sauce. Go eat at taco bell please! AParking: Small parking selection but enoughKid-friendliness: Kids love them tacosWheelchair accessibility: It's there“
“This place has THEE best birria tacos and consome. You’d never believe it’s located in a gas station. The taco shells are dipped in the consome before frying to get that taste and texture. Then they add heaps of beef. And you have to get an order of consome, it’s thick, rich and comes with chunks of beef. It’s practically a beef soup by itself! I really wish this place wasn’t across town from me or I might be visiting a dangerously amount of times. Seriously come here. After having the birria tacos and consome here, I haven’t been able to find another place in Sacramento. The only down side I really don’t like is that blast the music way to loud in there! I get it you want to play music to fit the vibe of your food and that’s all fine, but the noice is just too loud. Atmosphere would be a lot better is they simply lowered the volume.“
“Amazing food. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Beyond that.....from a locer of all things beautiful and fun....this place has the absolute greatest soundtrack playing at all times. Check my creds.Kid-friendliness: It's a safe environment, in the middle of a rough area.“
“It's a hole in the wall, but aren't those always the best places to get amazing tacos?I was referred to this restaurant specifically for the fish tacos and they didn't disappoint. The adobado (similar to an al pastor) was also phenomenal. One other important point to make is that in these times of excessive food prices (really everything prices), you can come here for a reasonably priced, extremely yummy meal. Hard to argue against that!“
“Good food and VERY good service! I must have gotten up 5-6 times asking for things and they never once lost their cool with me. If I had cash on me I would have left a tip!! I got the fried fish and shrimp combo and it was so good. I had to exchange the street corn for beans (which were good) because the corn was too spicy but they didn't get mad they just exchanged it. I upgraded to the sweet potato fries and they were good too. I will go back and get the shrimp again!!! I like their tartar sauce too, it's wasn't too sweet and not too much dill.“
“What a gem of a place! Great atmosphere, great drinks and food. Very enjoyable spot to hang out and/or meet up with friends. New ownership is making significant changes in turning this place around from what it was and it’s definitely noticeable. Keep up the good “
“My favorite mexican foods in the area. It is a small tiny booth/building & short menu. Love their super burrito & there tacos. Horchata drink is a hit and miss sometime. But today is delicious. Their customer service is always fantastic. Deliver to your car. Lunch rush is when they are open so it does get busy sometime. ?“
“At the corner of Florin and Freeport, on our way home, wondering what we wanted for dinner and like a beacon drawing us in....we turned into a parking spot, ordered al pastor, pollo and suadero tacos, dressed them ourselves and continued home. I must say, we are considering heading back right now to order more tacos and a quesadilla. These are hands down the best street tacos I have had in Sacramento. ???“
“Ate here for the first time I was extremely satisfied with the food and the service. Cecelia was very helpful and make sure we were very comfortable and our food was just right. The Birria was amazing as well as the chicken and asada enchilada plates we ordered. Definitely going to be a regular coming here!“
“Omg new favorite place! they set up around sundown 10 tacos and 2 burritos was only 45 we gave them 50 and boy was it WORTH IT SO DANG GOOD! we will be coming back on a regular basis.Kid-friendliness: My 8 year old got 4 pastor tacos and inhaled them“
“Having stumbled upon Tony's Tacos while out running errands one day, I finally had the opportunity to try their food on a rainy Sunday night. My dad, husband, and I came to Tony's tacos for dinner. The staff were very kind in explaining what some of their most popular items were - with their best seller being their quesabirria. I opted for the quesabirria tacos, which came in an order of three with a side of consommé. My husband ordered the quesabirria burrito while my dad ordered one chicken, one shrimp, and one Carne Asada taco. We all enjoyed the salsa bar - but their salsas do have a kick! The quesabirria tacos were delicious, but I was slightly disappointed by the lack of flavor in the consommé. The tacos by themselves were packed with meat and cheese - the meat was very tender and flavorful. But the consommé left me lacking with no real depth or flavor profile. My dad enjoyed his tacos, and my husband felt that the burrito was tasty, but the way it was assembled had the rice, beans, and meat in entirely different sections, and we're not well integrated.A few minor tweaks, and this could be a five star location for me.“
“The Boneless Yangyum spicy Chicken was very tasty and they give you a big portion for the price. The entree also comes with rice and about six small side dishes. Their Korean menu looks very interesting and will keep me coming back to try new dishes. You should check this place out.“
“I think I found the "jewel in the ruff"! Just happened to visit the fairly new thrift store "Bargain World " next door & decided Tacos sounds pretty good just about now ~ ordered a double grilled chicken taco combo with the jazz added; cilantro, onions along with the rice, beans, T-chips, 2 Go! Very impressive for this little hideaway and more than pleased with my order! I wanted to return again today but thought, nahhhh...don't want to be that "pesky customer "...so, I think I'll wait until tomorrow! A+, La Soga ,South Sac ? “
“Update 2/23/2024I am a little disturbed as they added kiosk order(now forced), however there was an employee liaison assisting people who may have trouble. My outlook on kiosks:*People take this as "Do it yourself as we are either not staffed to do this or other things are more important than you".*I don't see this as service oriented.*Menu is fragmented on a screen and buttons all over which makes it tough to order for most.*McDonald's has kiosks, but nobody uses them.Example: 70+ lady walks up and tries to order. She has issues and has a ton of questions, this takes time. In the meantime you have a line backed up plus another user at the same time, with kiosk issues. Now what you have is a problem. Another one of your employees needs to be brought over to help now. Now everything is backed up.I know what the answer will be from your establishment. " We have backup, we will then take order manually"I get it, less employees brings more money to the budget, but in the long run it will not as service to customers is compromised and a reputation will prevail in the long run.I did kindly ask the manager why kiosks. She replied and we spoke. What dates out to me about that conversation is that her words were "People don't want to work for $20 per hour". Strange comment. Oh well. I have given up going there. Done with coaching.Let's get back to good ole excellent customer service. Bring that vision back. This is sorely needed.End of latest update-------------------------------------Great place, great service. Most "Most of the employees" are great.Bring the salsa bar back please.Fish is always consistent and fair prices. Gourmet food for less and a ton of options.Good job California Fish Grill!“
“Our favorite neighborhood taco spot. The hours are sometimes more of a suggestion that a strict schedule, but service is fast and friendly. My favorites are the tacos de al pastor y buche. My husband also likes their tripas. Their quesadillas are also packed with meat. For those, my daughter loves the carne asada. Their salsas are delicious, especially the avocado one. There's often someone selling aguas frescas or champurrados to round out your meal. Idk how much each taco costs (it doesn't really matter to me though, I love their tacos so much I'll pay whatever they charge me) but this is always an affordable family meal for us. Check it out!“
“the breakfast burrito was really good and the meat is really well seasoned-- had a small mistake on an order where some meats got swapped around but the young woman that was at the cashier was super accomadating and really nice about it. she solved it pretty quickly and made the whole ordeal a lot easier to manage. sauces arent super spicy but are pretty tasty and the super burritos are decently sized“
“We've been going here for years, 1-2 times a week most of the time! Delicias is the best taco truck in Sac! Tacos are always loaded with a lot of meat & their grilled onion is bomb! Asada and lengua are my go-to tacos ? believe me when I say we stay eating tacos!“
“Excellent tacos and salsa. Super fresh tortillas. Make sure to eat promptly cause we tried saving a few tacos but the tortillas disintegrate. Flavor of the tacos and size is superb but still a little pricey. Only negative is our chips were beyond stale but all the entrees were wonderful.“
“This is my man's favorite place to eat... Lol he would literally eat here every meal every day lol... VERY good and favorable food ... The ONLY reason for the 2 star review for atmosphere is due to the incredibly sketchy homeless that hang out begging for money... Besides that amazing burritos and food!!!“
“I love finding a hidden gem in a parking lot ?Following my absolute love of birria, my friend introduced me to this place that has DELICIOUS birria fries AND incredibly TASTY AUTHENTIC agua fresca AAAAND horchata ? absolutely amazing, fair priced and the owner is so cool! Don't be scared to walk up and order just because it's in a shopping center, the food is legit and worth every penny.***Only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday so treat yourself if you're in the area on the weekend!“
“We had them cater a 35th wedding anniversary...the food was outstanding from the street tortilla to the salsa, rice and beans, chicken and asada with all the condiments they included lemons, radishes onions and 3 different kinds of salsa... only thing missing was the Mariachi's“
“El Señor del Monte Taco Truck has a menu with something for everyone. My great choice is a plain grill cheese. The tasty cheesy and grilled tortillas takes my tastebuds way back in the day. Scrumptious-olly-osis, I say...Scrumptious-olly-osis.“
“Enjoyed happy hour with some of my coworkers! All the ingredients are very fresh (you can tell) and are super delicious! The crispy Thai taco was spicy AF. I don't know what I was thinking when I ordered it, lol. I am such a wimp when it comes to spicy. The vibe is chill, and I will definitely come back. The weather was perfect for sitting outside, but I did notice that there's a pretty cool looking firepit for a cooler day or evening. This was a very nice experience today, and our waitress Naomi, was super sweet.“
“Got the molcajete to go tonight and my wife got an enchilada and a taco, they were absolutely fantastic! Loved the chard jalapeno and green onions ontop of the grilled meets. Spicy salsa was bomb also. All of it was super flavorful and delicious.Would suggest to make your own corn tortillas; if you do, could easily be one of the best local Mexican food spots“
“I stumbled upon this taco truck in my neighborhood after making a wrong turn with an empty stomach. I am so glad I did! The food was delicious, they give you huge portions and the workers are very nice. I will say the food is a little greasy but sometimes you just gotta treat yourself! I'll definitely be back.“
“This is easily the best place to get cheap, quality tacos in Sacramento. The ladies are always very nice and the asada tacos hit the spot every time. My family is originally from Stockton and there were taco trucks just about everywhere. I was very surprised by the lack of food trucks when we moved here. I've tried a good amount of different trucks but nothing seemed to match the flavor I was used to. This is the only truck I'll eat from now! They recently had to raise their prices again, but they've tried to remain very affordable over the years in my opinion.“
“By far the best tripas burritos in the business! I've tried other spots around town just to compare, and Memo's always comes out on top! To be fair, i've only gotten the tripas here, so take that as you will. But for tripas.....this is the spot“
“Paquitas Mexican Grill recently opened after taking over an old Mexican restaurant and completing a floor to ceiling remodel. They serve up authentic Mexican recipes using the freshest local ingredients. The ambience is awesome with beautiful Mexican themed murals and plenty of cozy places to sit. It is a family run business and the owners were very friendly and inviting. We will definitely return often for drinks and good eats.“
“Today I had a Carne Asada burrito with carne asada, rice, beans, cheese, guacamole & pico de Gallo salsa. It arrived in just a bit over 5 minutes, was very yummy and pretty heavy and filling. This burrito only cost $10-well worth the cost-I would definitely recommend giving this place a shot if you are in the area and want some solid authentic Mexican food!!!“
“100% recommend this place! Don't allow the restaurant exterior to detour you - inside is modern, clean, food is impressive, and great quality. The service was prompt, friendly staff, and the food is super great. We had our food to go since the place is small, but don't let the size of restaurant fool you. We ordered the taco salad and tacos with any plate of Bone Marrow. The Bone Marrow plate is a must, it is so good! Order an entree and a plate of Bone Marrow. Prices are reasonable and quality is superb. Came from Auburn to try is place, worth the drive.“
