“Lovely atmosphere and outstanding service! The spring rolls with pork and yummy peanut sauce were delicious. Chicken stir-fry also delish--vegetables were cooked yet still slightly crispy. Pho broth very tasty. Pleasurable dining experience“
“I recently dined at Bodhi Bowl and was pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of their vegetarian dishes. The menu offered a wide selection of flavorful and healthy options. I particularly enjoyed the creative use of fresh ingredients in their dishes., I would recommend Bodhi Bowl to anyone looking for delicious vegetarian food.“
“Best Thai Food Restaurant In Sacramento!!!! I’ve been coming here for the past 4 years and everything is delicious. T and his Team are the sweetest people. Best Customer Service. I moved to Arden Arcade and drive to north highlands just to eat Thai Food. I recommend this place to Everyone! 5 stars TOP!“
“Ramen comes to mind when the weather is cool and raining! Ever since I heard Pipo Ramen & Rice is on the Top 100 Places to Eat in Sacramento, I have been wanting to try this place. It's located in South Sacramento, off 65th Street, in this quiet plaza with plenty of parking. We came here for dinner a little before 6:00 pm on weekdays, and we were the only customers. The place is clean, tidy, and spacious with a high ceiling. We sat down and were given the menu and water right away. At first, I thought this was a Japanese/Ramen restaurant because of the name. After looking at the menu, it turns out it's a Thai restaurant. Either way, I enjoy both Japanese and Thai food.I love duck, so I immediately knew I wanted the Crispy Duck Fried Rice. I was surprised that the duck breast was served on top of the basil fried rice, instead of diced and cooked together with the fried rice. I really like that because I can see what part of the duck I'm eating. It's also delicious! The duck was crispy and savory. The basil and Thai seasoning add unique flavors to the fried rice. Generous portion. I would definitely get this again. 5/5We also got the Tonkotsu Ramen. It's your typical ramen with the standard toppings and ramen egg (ajituske tamago). The broth is creamy and not too salty. It really is perfect for the rainy weather. 4/5The service was great. The server was friendly and checked on us a couple of times. We can't wait to come back and taste other dishes.“
“They were only doing take out but everything is fresh, authentic, and delicious ? The girl at the register was super nice and friendly. Service was very quick! She told us it would be around 15 minutes but it was more like 7 or 8 minutes.Parking: Plenty of parking with handicap parking.“
“Great pho with wonderful broth and tender meat. I got the pho with tripe and steak tips - tripe was super tender (fantastic because tripe has a tendency to be super chewy if overcooked). The noodles were good but I think they were a little past "al dente" if that can even be a term used for rice noodles lol. Overall, really enjoyed my food, and really hit the spot for my craving for pho.“
“Thai - The House of Authentic ThaiWow, lived up to the name; signature fresh and tasty ingredients I am used to getting at good Thai restaurants. The portion sizes are very generous, enough to satisfy any normal size appetite. It’s a small cosy location, the kind of place you find close to universities (Sac State in this case). Definitely worth a visit.“
“When we walked in we were happily greeted by a gentleman. We were quickly to sit anywhere. It's a quiet restaurant with a T.V. on. I noticed it was packed with customers and a lot of orders from Door Dash so that's a plus! Food must be good here! Food was perfect, we ordered the #1 Special Combination, I had the Fat Noodle, husband was with egg noodles. Daughter had the #9 Shrimp and Fish balls with regular noodles. For the appetizer we had the calamari which was crispy! Definitely highly recommended. Services were great and quick! Don't forget to check in for a free Thai Tea or Soda.“
“Finally made my visit here. Place was busy and packed when I arrived at 6pm on a Saturday. Had to sign in on the wait list. Waited for about 20 minutes. The establishment was nice and clean. The customer service was excellet! Ordered medium #4, rare beef lean pho. Heads up their prices on their menu isn’t updated with the correct updated one that’s found on their website. Pho price went up $1. The pho beef broth was delicious and wonderful. I was taken back and was impressed! The portion was ok, I was content with it. If you’re really hungry, medium won’t be enough. The veggie condiments that comes with it, the amount was on the small side. I didn’t attempt to ask for more, so I didn’t. All of their wait staff was very helpful and wonderful! Overall, i will be a repeat customer for sure!“
“Not the best location but this restaurant exceeded my expectations! It's nice to see some more flavor in this part of town (HAHAH) anyways, I'm so excited there's a pho shop that's closer to this area which means I don't have to travel to south Sacramento as often as I would before. This is a locally owned business so please help support and give this place a try. The decor was nice and clean when you walk in. Your typical viet dishes. This place didn't have a big menu but that's okay it had just enough to fulfill your cravings. I got the beef pho, it was good! Lots of good flavor and the broth was HELLA HOT! I love my soup hot!! No cold soups or warm soups pls! LOL! They only come in one size but that's ok. The flavor was rich and had good ingredients. You didn't really need to add anything, I think they already add Nuoc beo to this before they bring it out too! Or maybe I'm mistaken.. either way it was good and you def should stop by if you're in the area.“
“Unexpected place that has great food & service. The Tom Yum Goong soup was the perfect on a cold rainy day. Perfect balance of spice and ingredients. Was able to smell the ribs before they arrived at the table. There were great also! The waitress was friendly, timely and responsive. Definitely a place to try if you're in the mood for Thai food.“
“It was my first time here last night but definitely won't be the last. Food was amazing, service was fast( for a busy dining hour) ...very good atmosphere with the view of kitchen.Vegetarian options: Vegetable dumplings, tofu options, appetizers ( cucumber salad)“
“The service and food are wonderful. My taste buds are screaming " I want more!". The place is very clean and staff goes out of its way to make sure you have a great dining experience! I had the grilled pork broken rice dish with two fried egg rolls and a Vietnamese coffee... cold. I always have enough for another meal. Delicious!!! And yes, you may quote me. 4.5 to 5.“
“This place serves best chinese & vietnamese foods.. i love the Pork Kidney with egg noodle! The staffs can speak Vietnamese/ English and friendly. The place is not huge but big enough.. so be aware of quing. Overall, i will be back when i have a chance to visit Sacramento again ?“
“Been meaning to try this restaurant for a long time but every time I visited the wait was always over 45 minutes. Finally decided to wait this time and I'm so glad I did! The food was so delicious that I came back two days later. Both times our wait was 45 minutes long but very worth it. I can see why they are so popular! The space is small and seating is quite limited. They do have outdoor seating but it wasn't available due to the cold, rainy weather. They open their Yelp waitlist on some days so I would recommend checking to see if the waitlist is open and joining prior to heading to the restaurant. There's only street parking but I didn't have trouble finding free parking on the same block. Both times we ordered their garlic noodles and vegetable dumplings. We also ordered their mapo tofu, garlic eggplant, and spicy wonton. Food came out super quick after ordering and was piping hot. Portions are generous and everything was so delicious!! My favorite had to be their garlic noodles and garlic eggplant! The garlic noodles are perfectly cooked and seasoned and so tasteful! The garlic eggplant is one of the best ones I've had! The eggplants were soft, savory yet sweet and pairs so well with rice or noodles! I also really liked the mapo tofu as it was flavorful, although it was spicier than I had expected. The vegetable dumplings were perfectly steamed and the filling was full of texture and flavor. The dipping sauce was soy sauce based and I would have liked the dipping sauce to be more vinegary, but it still complemented well with the dumplings. I didn't try the spicy wonton but my friend enjoyed it and it comes with a spicy dipping sauce. This is one of the best Chinese restaurants I've tried in Sacramento. Would highly recommend!! Definitely suggest coming with friends and ordering family-style so everyone gets to try everything! I really appreciate that they have a variety of vegetarian options and is clearly indicated in their menu. I will definitely be back to try all the other vegetarian options!“
“5 stars for kalbi jjim, i can see why it's the main star here it's pretty delicious! I tried their haemul kalguksu too which was also good, packed full of mussels, shrimp and has a cute sized crab in it as well. I don't eat shellfish but had to try and enjoyed the noodles. I definitely want to try their other soups here. Enough leftovers to last me 2-3 nights lol. Wang Mandu was also wanging. They were humongous.“
“Food was amazing! Mango salad was perfectly balanced. Bun Bo Hue broth, condiments and side veggies were delicious. The only thing I would say is that the meats need to be cooked longer so they can be more tender. The escargot was delicious as well but a bit chewy for me. My partner did enjoy the entire platter himself though. The razor clams were perfectly seasoned IMO, but it may have been a bit on the sweet side for my partner. Lastly, the service was pretty good. The owner came by to check on us quite often and made small talk. Overall, the experience was pretty awesome. Give it a try!“
“Don't sleep on Viet-Ha. Possibly the best pho in sac, and those egg rolls? Bro.... it's legit, trust. I've been coming here for over a decade and the same staff always do it up quick and right.Vegetarian options: Plenty of meatless options!Dietary restrictions: GoodParking: Small lot but plenty of street nearKid-friendliness: Kids love it!Wheelchair accessibility: Kinda tight but they can and do accommodate“
“This Korean BBQ restaurant exceeded all my expectations! The quality of the meat was exceptional, and the variety of cuts offered was impressive. The interactive grilling experience at the table added an extra layer of fun to the dining experience. The banchan (side dishes) were plentiful and delicious, complementing the BBQ perfectly. The atmosphere was lively, and the staff were attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring we had a fantastic meal from start to finish. I can't wait to go back and indulge in more of their mouthwatering offerings“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pattaya Thai Cuisine in Sacramento and I can confidently say that it was a fantastic experience. I decided to try their pad Thai, and it did not disappoint. The pad Thai at Pattaya Thai Cuisine was simply amazing. The flavors were well-balanced and the dish had the perfect combination of sweetness, tanginess, and a slight hint of spice. The noodles were cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of chewiness. Additionally, the portion size was generous, ensuring that I left the restaurant feeling completely satisfied. The service at Pattaya Thai Cuisine was also exceptional. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and made sure that all our needs were met. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, creating a pleasant atmosphere for a delightful meal.I must also mention that the prices at Pattaya Thai Cuisine are reasonable, considering the quality and portion size of the dishes. You truly get great value for your money here.Overall, I highly recommend Pattaya Thai Cuisine in Sacramento, especially if you're a fan of pad Thai. The dish was delicious and the overall dining experience was excellent. I will definitely be returning to try more of their authentic Thai cuisine in the future.“
“Came here on a whim with my husband as we were looking for shaved ice (happened to be next door, lol). We hadn't eaten anything and decided we'd try dumplings, since I've been curious to try the latest food trend., and then get our shaved ice for dessert after.Once you step inside, you are greeted by a nice, clean and simply appointed eatery, and an equally nice young lady behind the counter. The menu is easy to follow and there are a nice selection of dishes to try, along with the star off the show...the delicious dumplings. We started by ordering beef dumplings (fried), the house chow mein, the rolled chicken pancake, and one Thai iced tea for my husband. The food came out pretty quick and hot and so fresh!!The dumplings were amazing and the teriyaki and Mayo sauce were Devine to dip them in...the beef inside was super flavorful and the dough was fresh and a nice thickness. Those were my favorite! The chow mein...the noodles were heavenly and had a great texture and flavor. The sauce was light, but just a tad greasy, but still very good. The pork and veggies were very generous and overall, the dish was amazing! The chicken rolled pancake was equally delish and I'd order these three items in a heartbeat! I should mention the portions were large for what you pay and we had enough leftovers for dinner the next night! It was a really good bargain for quality, fresh flavorful food and we really, really enjoyed it! I know I will add this to my list of favorite places! I'm going to dream of those dumplings untilMy next fix! Lol.“
“Blue Nami Sushi blew me away! The fish was incredibly fresh, melting in my mouth with every bite. I tried the Yummy Yummy, and the flavor combinations were perfect. The staff was attentive and friendly, making helpful recommendations throughout my meal. Overall, the delicious food, friendly service, and reasonable prices make Blue Nami a must-try for any sushi lover in Folsom.“
“Chashu Ramen ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: chashu is the highlight of the dish. Super juicey with the right amount of char. Broth was a bit on the lighter side but still has good flavor. I do prefer my noodles with slightly more bite since these were on the softer side.Tonkatsu Sando ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: tonkatsu sandwiched with veggies and sauce between two slices of Asian white bread. Honestly more delicious than some of the dedicated tonkatsu sandwich shops I've tried.“
“This no frills Guilin noodle spot on Stockton blvd. Very friendly staff, delicious food and fast!If you’re looking for more interesting flavors in a bowl of noodles spot, this is the spot for you! Funky pickled greens, crunchy beans, herbs and rice noodles“
“Best pho in Sacramento, hands down! This spot is owned by a Vietnamese family, who will be the ones cooking and serving your food for you. Their service is always 10/10, they're fast and accommodating. The restaurant is clean and well maintained, prices are awesome as well.“
“This is always my go to Pho place in Sacramento! The owner Bob is very hospitable, Sarah is always my waitress, she is very attentive to her guest, I always get the same thing. The place is very clean, the atmosphere is nice, customers are regulars here, that’s how you know it’s good !!! Two thumbs up ?? ??… food is always fresh …“
“We are new to the area and tried a few different thai places. This is, by far the best place we've found. The food is wonderfully flavorful. The serving sizes are perfect. The peanut sauce is to die for (Satay Chicken) Their "hotness" scale is perfect (pad thai & curry). We have returned a second time tonight and will keep coming back!“
“First visit tonight, takeout. Called ahead and the man who answered was epitome of Thai = polite, soft-spoken, service-oriented. He was able to answer all of my questions without issue. With veggie and chicken Tom kha soup, no seafood Tom kha, I opted for yellow curry chicken ($14) and brown rice ($3). One question I asked was if the curry was enough for two. His answer was perfect. He felt no, but everything about the call, my intuition that he's likely the owner of a locally-owned business and running the show solo, and the fact this Thai spot was in my bookmarks for a while, I ordered. The curry was more liquid than sauce and larger pieces of solid foods than expected but perfect medium spice (as requested) and the flavor was excellent. It'll make 1.25 to 1.5 servings for me. I'm happy. I plan to return. Khxbkhuṇ (Translation: thank you)“
“Exploring this locale as an out-of-towner, I opted for the vegetarian pho—impressive flavors and incredibly fresh! Despite the modest staff, a quick and efficient service was delivered by a diligent female and male duo. The spot is impeccably clean, although not swanky. While the multitasking waitress, who also handles cooking and cleaning, may not check in frequently, their politeness stood out. I also had a Diet Coke, and the final bill, including tax, amounted to $16.50. Cheaper than most fast-food nowadays.“
“THE BEST WOR WONTON SOUP. I'm a s***** when it comes to wor wonton soup and I can 100% say this restaurant serves the best. It is packed to the top with the best meats and veggies and wontons. Even amidst it being served Togo, it is still packed to the brim and extra hot and fresh. Not to mention, they are following COVID precautions very well. Love this restaurant and love that I get to support them during this crazy season.“
