“Went on a Monday night. There's only one person working cashier and tables but she does her best to keep up. I think the prices went up just like everywhere else because I thought I remember most dishes being $15 before, but I also could be remembering lunch prices rather than dinner.I got the kalbitang and it came out boiling, hence the picture. My boyfriend got the kimchi beef soondubu with medium spice (also boiling) and beef bulgogi combo. Both dishes were great, although I'm definitely more in favor of the kalbitang. We both really enjoyed the side dishes too and ended up asking for a refill.Overall, it's still a great place to eat. The kind of good food that you end up finishing when you thought you'd have leftovers. Looking forward to visiting again.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Original Thai BBQ restaurant, in Chino Hills and it was an experience that left a lasting impression on my taste buds. The newly remodeled and inviting atmosphere immediately set the stage for what turned out to be a delightful Thai BBQ journey.Starting with the BBQ Beef skewers were so delectable, the Sweet Angel - deep fried stuffed chicken wings were a perfect crispy and flavorful delight, providing the perfect balance of textures. The Tom Yum seafood soup was a highlight, boasting a seafood blend of spices that warmed both the heart and soul. It's my favorite soup. For the main course, I opted for the Thai BBQ chicken, a classic Thai dish that exceeded expectations. The chicken was perfectly cooked, and the combination of sweet, sour, and savory flavors created a dance on my palate. The combination Chow Mein with the works was another standout, rich in flavor and a must. What truly set this restaurant apart was the authenticity of the dishes. It felt like a genuine taste of Thailand, with each bite transporting me to the streets of Bangkok. The attention to detail and the use of fresh, quality ingredients were evident in every dish. The Thai beer selection was a plus and a nice touch and they also serve wine. The service was prompt and courteous, adding to the overall positive impression. The staff's knowledge of the menu and willingness to offer recommendations enhanced the dining experience. In conclusion, this Thai restaurant not only satisfied my culinary cravings but also transported me to the heart of Thailand through its authentic flavors. Whether you're a Thai cuisine enthusiast or a newcomer, this establishment is a must-visit for a truly memorable dining experience. Thanks the Original Thai BBQ Chino Hills for a delicious meal!Vegetarian options: The menu has a Vegetable optionParking: Big shopping center“
“We’ve eaten here many times and we generally opted for the original or garlic honey flavor. Note: you can only get the garlic honey in boneless option. They were authentic and tasty. We also had the rice cakes (dedeok bokki) and they were pretty spicy, in a good way.Vegetarian options: ?this is a fast food place and don’t expect any help for vegetarians.Parking: Free parkingWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“Our favorite family spot for birthdays and other special occasions, like being mesmerized d by the delightful scent escaping from the smoky meats. Side dishes are always excellent, try the loaded baked potato. Great selection of cocktails, beer & wine.“
