“I've been coming to Jason's since I began taking classes and started working at SWC. They have an amazing tea & coffee selection with affordable prices. Something I truly enjoy is that they offer sugar-free & dairy-free options on all beverages. As for bakery items, my favorite has to be the jalapeño & cheddar cheese bagel with the spicy cream cheese (I believe all their cream cheeses are homemade which is a huge plus). OH and the spinach bagel is to die far as well, but it does sell out very quickly.“
“This is a hot dog shop with a Mexican-style exterior. The staff kindly explained about the hot dogs.I ordered two types of hot dogs recommended by the staff. One is a standard hot dog.The seasoning was very simple, and the sauce on top was mild and easy to eat!The other one had onions, coriander, etc. in a sauce containing spices. It's so delicious that even people who don't like coriander can enjoy it! !The bread was also fluffy and soft. The size of the hot dog is not too big and can be eaten by one adult. The French fries were freshly fried and had a bit of spice. The interior of the store was also very cute! Please stop by the store and take a look.“
“We found Cucina Caprese after wanting to find a restaurant in San Diego that wasn’t another Mexican food tourist trap. I am SO glad that we did.It is clear that the owner is intimately involved with the food that is served here. Ingredients are fresh, menu is easy to understand, and although there was not a kids specific menu, we were able to find some great options that both of our kids enjoyed. The Gnocchi al Pesto was probably the best gnocchi I’ve had in my entire life, and the prosciutto burrata was flavorful and absolutely delicious. We were able to walk right in and be seated immediately. Staff were all extremely friendly and attentive. Be prepared to wait a little bit for your food to arrive…I mention this not because it negatively impacted our experience, but because authentic, FRESH Italian food is made to order, takes time, and may not be expected by those of us used to an Americanized take on authentic Italian. I can’t wait for another trip to San Diego so that I can come back.Don’t hesitate…give this place a try!!Kid-friendliness: No kids menu, but plenty of great options that our 7 & 10 year olds enjoyed!“
“5 stars for food- the food was fresh, authentic and delicious! 5 stars for cleanliness- tables were quickly cleared and salsa bar spotless) 5 stars for quick service, fresh food ready in less than 5 min. And most importantly 5 stars for the employee (manager?) Who reminded my friend and I that we were great mothers after a horrible customer and person berated us for letting our kids play with a salt shaker(which we cleaned up) while waiting for our food to be up. He also brought the kids stickers and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience despite the customers negative comments which he had no control over. This meant so much to me and there is no doubt that we will be back!“
“They are right outside a liquor store in a parking lot, which I love. Honestly, when I saw that, I knew I had to try them. They are open everyday starting at 5pm. They have a large variety of food options. We tried the asada and adobada. Probably the best weve had so far. It's very difficult to find good authentic tasting tacos in the U.S. in my opinion. These were so good that we're going to come back. They are family run and they are very nice.“
“I like coming here for the farmers market every couple of months. I park a little ways down the street for 60 minutes and I end up walking a block or two down with my dog to stop and see what cool stuff they might have fun us. It's not a big market. No more than 10 vendors that sells non food items and no more than 15 food vendors. But on a sunny Saturday morning, with a nice breeze, and the sun shining, it's always a good way to kill a hour and enjoy life. Last time I came here in April 2024, I ended up finding some Moroccan oil that I dab on my skin as a perfume. There was an array of different smells and I smelled them all and ended up buying two of them! The time I came here before that, there was a vendor selling bandanna for dogs. I got my dog one. It says "I heart French Fries." So the vendors change each time and there's always one vendor that I end up spending time and eventually money at. Foodwise, I feel like it's mostly the same i.e lemonade and coffee stands, doughnuts, bacon wrapped hot dogs etc. I typically get a coffee if that or something I can share to hold me over. The prices for the food trucks aren't cheap. The value in it is okay.“
“I fancy myself a cookie connoisseur and wasn't expecting much when I ordered these cookies. I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed them. Will definitely order again. And I recommend them over CRUMBL cookies any day. They're not overly sweet or loaded with oil to keep them soft. Mixed box had Cookie Monster, Red Velvet, Lemon, Chocolate Chip, Birthday Cake, And a Salted . Caramel.Yum!“
“I’m camping at a Rv park in Jamul California and there is a man setting up his tent and getting ready to serve food. I’ve never had a bacon wrapped hotdog so I tried it plain with just mustardThe roll was great and the hotdog was high quality meat. I got to taste the bacon too.Jose was a great cook and serverI will be buying again next week when he returnsThis time I’ll add some extra toppings“
“I had been craving Middle Eastern food for a while and saw these guy at the night market event at Mission Valley mall. The food was so fresh and flavorful!I chatted with one of the guys behind the grill how much I had missed my family's cooking. He was very kind and gave me a generously sized piece of (what my family calls) kadaif. If you are ever fortunate enough to find these guys with a fresh batch, be sure to ask for a slice!“
“Quick, Easy, Delicious... the way it should be! It warms my heart to see a hot dog cart done right. Served with the same speed and intensity as in the city -- they knock it outta Yankee Stadium! You want a vegan dog? Get the hell outta here... only Sabretts!!“
“Spending a few days in San Diego and we found them on accident. Amazing hot coffee. From pour overs to their speciality coffee drinks like “The Turk” and “Southern Hospitality”. Who knew mint, brown sugar and cardamon would taste so good !“
“The flavor of the tri-tip nachos is excellent - lots of ingredients, and it's usually piled pretty high! The cost is right on par with everything else at the ball park - not cheap, but also not exorbitant. The line usually moves pretty fast, especially compared to some of the other vendors around. Nothing really to complain about here.“
“Hands down the best churros I've tried. I'm not a big churro person but we hired them for a company party and it was the highlight of the night. Louie was professional, responsive & on time. He got there to set up prior to service & his staff was efficient so everyone could get their churros and ice cream without waiting too long. Would love to share a picture - but it was too delicious to remember to photograph until after“
“Taquizas Los Crunches catered my birthday party on Saturday. The communication was great, they showed up on time, and the food was absolutely delicious. They have extra touches that many taco caterers. don't have like radishes a wonderful, cactus salad, fresh fruit drinks and the beans weren't refried. Everything was so fresh. Definitely hiring them again!“
