“This is a hot dog shop with a Mexican-style exterior. The staff kindly explained about the hot dogs.I ordered two types of hot dogs recommended by the staff. One is a standard hot dog.The seasoning was very simple, and the sauce on top was mild and easy to eat!The other one had onions, coriander, etc. in a sauce containing spices. It's so delicious that even people who don't like coriander can enjoy it! !The bread was also fluffy and soft. The size of the hot dog is not too big and can be eaten by one adult. The French fries were freshly fried and had a bit of spice. The interior of the store was also very cute! Please stop by the store and take a look.“
“We found Cucina Caprese after wanting to find a restaurant in San Diego that wasn’t another Mexican food tourist trap. I am SO glad that we did.It is clear that the owner is intimately involved with the food that is served here. Ingredients are fresh, menu is easy to understand, and although there was not a kids specific menu, we were able to find some great options that both of our kids enjoyed. The Gnocchi al Pesto was probably the best gnocchi I’ve had in my entire life, and the prosciutto burrata was flavorful and absolutely delicious. We were able to walk right in and be seated immediately. Staff were all extremely friendly and attentive. Be prepared to wait a little bit for your food to arrive…I mention this not because it negatively impacted our experience, but because authentic, FRESH Italian food is made to order, takes time, and may not be expected by those of us used to an Americanized take on authentic Italian. I can’t wait for another trip to San Diego so that I can come back.Don’t hesitate…give this place a try!!Kid-friendliness: No kids menu, but plenty of great options that our 7 & 10 year olds enjoyed!“
“A very good taqueria in San Diego. The atmosphere made you feel like you were in a Mexican taqueria, the music, the staff. They make the tortillas on site and that changes the whole experience. I highly recommend the tacos al pastor. They have Mexican beer and Mexican soft drinks. I never recommend ordering tacos to go because they will become soggy and ugly. You have to eat them there. Highly recommended.“
“They are right outside a liquor store in a parking lot, which I love. Honestly, when I saw that, I knew I had to try them. They are open everyday starting at 5pm. They have a large variety of food options. We tried the asada and adobada. Probably the best weve had so far. It's very difficult to find good authentic tasting tacos in the U.S. in my opinion. These were so good that we're going to come back. They are family run and they are very nice.“
“I fancy myself a cookie connoisseur and wasn't expecting much when I ordered these cookies. I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed them. Will definitely order again. And I recommend them over CRUMBL cookies any day. They're not overly sweet or loaded with oil to keep them soft. Mixed box had Cookie Monster, Red Velvet, Lemon, Chocolate Chip, Birthday Cake, And a Salted . Caramel.Yum!“
“I always look forward to coming to this market place on the weekends anytime we're in San Diego. There are a ton of different food options, available, for meals and desserts. They also have local artist and vendors who make bags, robes, hats, jewelry, etc. The vibe is super chill, and everyone seems like they're here to just enjoy the sunshine, it's proximity to the water, and just hang out.I'm personally very committed to the bao buns from House of Bao and the dole whip. My kids love the shave ice from the Filipino truck (Lola's). Other faves have been the empanadas and the tacos.“
“Really excellent chili Riano burritos they're pretty big too. I was pleasantly surprised by this place while I was waiting to get my windows tinted. good service good food good selection highly recommended if you're in the area and need food.“
“Amazingly good BBQ. I had the pulled pork with mild sauce. Great flavor without the sauce. I always taste BBQ without sauce first for the true flavor of the meat. Then also good with the sauce. If I was local, I would be eating it regularly.“
“I had been craving Middle Eastern food for a while and saw these guy at the night market event at Mission Valley mall. The food was so fresh and flavorful!I chatted with one of the guys behind the grill how much I had missed my family's cooking. He was very kind and gave me a generously sized piece of (what my family calls) kadaif. If you are ever fortunate enough to find these guys with a fresh batch, be sure to ask for a slice!“
“We got two carne asada tacos while waiting for our car at tint world and we were pleasantly surprised. The tacos were pretty big with lots of meat and they were delicious! Not a place I’d typically eat at but definitely worth a try. I’d go again if I’m in the area.“
“Quick, Easy, Delicious... the way it should be! It warms my heart to see a hot dog cart done right. Served with the same speed and intensity as in the city -- they knock it outta Yankee Stadium! You want a vegan dog? Get the hell outta here... only Sabretts!!“
“Don't let the gas station fool you. This place had the best beef rolled tacos! The portions are huge, and all ingredients are fresh and amazing! My husband does not like guacamole and was blown away with the topping on his monster rolls! I will be back to try other items on the menu!“
“The flavor of the tri-tip nachos is excellent - lots of ingredients, and it's usually piled pretty high! The cost is right on par with everything else at the ball park - not cheap, but also not exorbitant. The line usually moves pretty fast, especially compared to some of the other vendors around. Nothing really to complain about here.“
“Awesome coffee! simple, high-quality pour overs and cold brew. Definitely for the coffee snobs looking for high quality coffee like you made it yourself at home. Wish they had a place like this at home. I will be getting coffee here every morning during my conference!“
“While in La Jolla, our group decided to stroll over for a meal. This eatery is nestled in a lovely area. The wait time and prices were typical for the area. However, the food was exceptional. I opted for a burrito and a Jarritos soda. The burrito was generously filled and tightly packed. Additionally, they have a sauce bar in the back.I would certainly return; it was definitely worth the price.“
