“We ordered the chicken tikka masala, samosas, garlic naan, onion naan. Everything was awesome, I just wish the protein portion was larger. The place was clean and the staff were nice. They prefer cash tips because they don't receive the money when we pay by credit card. I will be going back to try their Indian pizzas.“
“I have ordered the family meal several times via DoorDash and the food is consistently good. The bbq beef is thinly sliced and tender/flavorful, the fried Island white fish is perfectly fried -- very crispy exterior with moist interior, the galbi ribs are slightly sweet and tasty, the chicken katsu crispy and flavorful (they use chicken thigh meat so it is very moist, not dry). The family meal comes with rice and macaroni salad -- enough food for six. Great value meal! Even with delivery, the fried food is crispy and still warm.“
“Just wow, being from San Diego I have the highest standards for Mexican food. This blew me out of the water! Shrimp is always hit or miss at Mexican restaurants but this was seriously fresh + amazing chips (which they filled up twice for free). Owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. Great spicy salsas too!“
“So, to begin with. When you see the place from a street, it is not the first choice to swing by, yet when you peek through the window, you'll see an open kitchen with food being cooked nonstop, a hood sign.Inside the place seems a bit crowded, yet you could probably squeeze 8n at the bar if you ask nicely even if you don't have reservation :)And now the food, fantastic italian cusine - the pasta is appropriately aldente, tomato sauce is fantastic, the beef carpaccio blows you away. And in the end you feel guilty if you miss the dessert.I would definitely recommend making a reservation and arrive hungry.Parking in a garage nearby is plenty.“
“Such a warm and welcoming establishment. We were promptly seated and the service was professional, informative and frequent. Our food was fantastic. We enjoyed the garlic bread, minestrone soup, pork chop carbonara and the chicken parm. We will definitely be back!“
“We tried to go to another restaurant in downtown Antioch but they had a 45 minute wait for a party of 2 (my husband and I) so we headed to Smith's Landing on a whim, and I am SO happy that we did. Our server, Audrey, was absolutely the perfect amount of helpful, sweet and attentive without hovering or coming by too often. We enjoyed the bread that came with 3 types of butter, shared the Crab Tower, my husband had the Shrimp Stroganoff and I had the Chicken Saltimbocca and everything was divine. I enjoyed a drink (Summers Day? Something along those lines) and my husband got a Mule, and both were really good. The icing on the cake was when Audrey heard I was celebrating an upcoming birthday, she brought out this gigantic Sunday, complete with chocolate dipped cone, m&ms, whipped cream and a lit candle. Truly blown away by the hospitality and the food. We will absolutely be back.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp leading up to the restaurant and the floors can easily be navigated using a wheelchair if needed!“
“Beautiful decor of clean modern lines with a Corporate kind of feel. Cloth napkins though & friendly informed staff. We started with a firecracker salmon roll & then enjoyed our mains . The roll was ok but the bowls were truly tasty. I had the Latin chimichurri bowl with a grilled yellowtail cooked perfectly. Topped with a delicious chimichurri sauce. It was served on a salad dressed nicely. I enjoyed everything in my bowl ,Hubby got the Japanese Wasabi bowl. Very good. We both opted for the regular Size which was a little large but we finished most of it. In hindsight we would share a regular size but double the protein which they will add more or different kinds to the bowl for extra. The coffee was served French press style which was a wonderful surprise & quite tasty. All in all would we go back yes. The service was attentive & friendly. All the food was fresh clean and yummy. 5 stars“
“Very pretty drinks, the taste was ok but not exceptional. The appetizers were good, though I wouldn't order the pork chop again. I'm assuming it was ok, but the texture seemed off and I kept worrying it wasn't well done enough.“
“I really enjoy Flemings as a rule and my last visit there last week was pretty good. The Walnut Creek Flemings is probably the busiest one I've been to. It took a hot minute to get seated and felt a bit too busy but the food was fantastic. Before we were seated, we took advantage of the bar area and the cocktails were spot on. After finally being seated, our waiter was very attentive, fast and well informed. My steak was perfectly cooked and the recommended wine was delicious. Despite it being a bit too busy for my normal tastes, it was a fantastic meal and I would definitely recommend it!“
“So delicious!!! My family loves thai food, and while this place may not look big or bustling on the outside, it is amazing. The indoor dining area is quant and small, so there may only be around 5 tables available. We were seated quickly, and the waiters were very kind. The food was absolutely wonderful. We are big fried rice lovers, and it did not disappoint. 100% worth a visit.“
“We had a great night on our dinner date. I highly recommend this spot if you are in the mood for Peruvian food. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. She brought out two samples of wine for me to try and waited until I made my decision. I appreciated this. I would recommend if it’s your first time, the Empanada Sampler of all 4. I would have naturally leaned towards the Cheese with Avocado sauce or the Vegetarian but to my surprise loved the Beef with Rocoto Aioli best. For dinner I had the Organic Quinoa Chopped Salad with chicken. It has romaine, radish, green beans, tomatoes, onions, corn, cilantro, avocado, lime vinaigrette and I loved it! I will be back just for this salad. The flavors were light and the chicken was perfect. It didn’t feel like too much which left room for dessert. My partner had the Shredded Chicken Stew, with slow cooked chicken breast simmered in a mild yellow pepper sauce, with hard boiled egg, Peruvian olive, walnuts and parmesan cheese, served with rice. He liked it and felt it was an authentic dish but would probably try something different next time. Dessert, the bread pudding was wonderful. Pineapple and coconut served with bourbon caramel sauce and whipped cream. If you enjoy these flavors I would recommend this! We will definitely be back!“
“Food is delicious nowhere to sit dining very no dining every time I come to this place it's closed I live a distance so before going please callParking: Must call before going every time I go it's closed inconvenience as I travel from a distance“
“LOVED this place, just wish it was a little bit more affordable and the seating was spaced apart more. We got 3 different types of empanadas and they were all super yummy, don't sleep on the mushroom one it was AMAZING! We ordered a seafood stew, the pork adobo, fries, and 2 cocktails and everything was very good! We don't usually have Peruvian food though so I can't speak to its authenticity but it sure was delicious! My favorite had to be the seafood stew, there was an abundance of seafood and the sauce is just to die for! Definitely a great date night spot! The only reason this is getting a 4 is because our seat was pretty cramped and we there were ppls chair backs pressed right into our table.“
“This is one of our favorite, secluded, romantic restaurants in Concord, CA. We bring friends and family here for special moments and memories. Tonight I dined with my beautiful wife, and enjoyed their duck special, along with Olive pesto, 6 raw oysters, plus a chilled glass of Peroni. Great night to be with someone you love. Spumoni for dessert. All to Frank Sinatra on the music box. Each visit is special. This is a reliable spot for good memories, great food, and a relaxing, chill vibe to break the routines of life.Parking: Spots are available at 530pm“
“Oke Poke in Walnut Creek is the bomb! Seriously, if you're into poke bowls, this place rocks. The vibe is chill, the staff are cool, and the food? It's top-notch.They've got everything you need for the perfect poke bowl – fresh fish, loads of toppings, and killer sauces. Plus, you can build your own bowl, so it's totally customized to your taste.Portions are generous, and the presentation? On point. Plus, the staff are super friendly and always happy to help out.If you're craving some awesome poke, hit up Oke Poke. Trust me, you won't regret it! ??“
“I was really heartbroken when I moved from SF to Concord because that meant not being able to buy food from my favorite Chinese restaurant. Shan Shan low restaurant was able to glued my heart back together again. The food here is extraordinary. Flavors are always on point. If you are looking for good quality food and good service please check them out!! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! Si están en busca de comida China con un gran sabor y calidad no duden en venir a Shan Shan restaurant. La comida aquí tiene un excelente sabor. Muy recomendando. :)“
“This is one of our go-to spots. Some of the best seafood around. Even beating out well-known SF restaurants. The Dungeness crab grilled cheese for lunch hit the spot. The clam chower has a nice creamy and rich flavor with some bacon thrown in. Call ahead to grab a fresh Dungeness crab or lobster.“
“Actually delicious. We’ve had a lot of sushi in the east bay and this was easily the best takeout - fish was fresh, cuts were generous, and seasoning was interesting and delicious. A little expensive for normal sushi takeout in my opinion but a nice monthly treat! We’ll be back to dine in!Dietary restrictions: Gluten, dairy, egg free“
“This is my favorite restaurant in Concord, and I like a LOT of the local restaurants, so that's saying something. I'd come here every day if that weren't a bit too often to eat out!My favorites here are the samosas, the onion naan, and Tomato Tarka Dal, though there's so many other delicious dishes I just wish I had enough room for it all!“
“This place really don’t deserve no low reviews. I been here numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. Yesterday we had a Xmas work dinner here and everything came out amazing. Food was incredible, service was very warming and prompt. This is hands down the best spot in the area. I’ll fasho be coming back best food here the parillada firee“
“This place gets popping on the weekends! We came for some great Vietnamese food and definitely got that and then some! There was parties of people coming in and the place got very lively! The food here is great, Service was great and the energy was wonderful!“
“The fish and chips was what caught my eye on the menu. It was great. It was delicious. It was packed. The seasoned fries were a perfect compliment to fried fish. However, I will say my husband ordered the crab melt sandwich. Man oh man…I would go back for just that sandwich alone!!! It did need a little boost with the flavor but once it’s sauced up, it’s fire???They also had freshly baked chocolatey chocolate chip cookies which obviously didn’t make it in my pic but they were delicious also.“
“Loved Loved Loved this place. The drinks were yummy, the food was delicious. The service was awesome. Definitely a must try.. I ordered the Seafood Grill. I enjoyed every bite but I just loved the deep fried polenta. So good!!! Perfect place for any occasion.“
“Long wait but super worth it. Family owned and run. I believe it's just the husband and wife and a chef or two. Mongolian beef, shao lin chicken , and fried orange chicken wings all INSANE!! Not sure if I got the names right but I'm pretty sure if you mention those they'll correct you! Favorite Chinese I've ever had for sure!“
“Wow. This was really good. I loved dipping my chips in my clam chowder. I ordered a soup and sandwich combo. I got the tuna sandwich. It was good. I forgot to order cheese but it was fine without it. It was nice to find good soup. I would definitely return if I am in the area again soon.“
“OMG! This is the first time me and my coworker have been here and damn are we super excited about this GEM! We came from across the street and it is such a game changer. Told my other coworker that we wanted Thai and she suggested we come here instead. She said it is a bit pricey, but says that the flavors are there compared to others she's tried around Concord (mind you our office moved from Alameda). She did not disappoint us at all and we ordered 3 lunch specials and half it within us. The best decision we ever made, when it came to not knowing what to eat and wanting to try it all - LOL! Satay chicken was really juicy and tender and the amount of flavor on here was really good. We also ate the curry noodles with chicken, chicken basil and sweet and sour chicken (not pictured because we ate it LOL and yes we order ALL chicken). I will say out of all 3 of these, the basil chicken and the curry combined together on my plate was honestly the best I've had. The basil chicken has thee perfect amount of spice added to it. It was like a perfect hot cheeto spice - LOL that's how I tell people how spicy things are. The Thai ice tea THOUGH, was the best I've ever had. The Thai tea was light and not super sweet at all. I don't usually drink Thai tea because every location is waaay too sweet for me, so I always pass on drinking it. But my coworker who directed us here said to try it and I am super happy that I did. I will literally only come here for the Thai tea - LOL. Don't get me wrong. I don't know what or how authentic Thai food should, but I will say this place has the same vibe and energy in their food that you would find in SF, over here. And I will tell you now, that we usually go to SF or a hole in the wall in Oakland just because everyone knows Contra Costa area doesn't have much options for Thai. But this place definitely has my support now.“
“Hands down THE BEST Mexican Restaurant in Walnut Creek, CA! Service was exemplary! Food came pippin HOT! Never had to ask for anything. Our server was on top of her game!!! Things to try when you go next time: Build your own omelet is superb; i ordered spinach, mushrooms, avocado, and jalapeños. Hubby loved his breakfast chicken burrito. Our son had the pancakes combo! Relatively great portions! And ample free parking! The cook is excellent and gives great recommendations. The staff is very polite and friendly, they make you feel like family! Now what more do u need than ALL that?! Go check this small business out, kitty will not be a waste of your time or tastebuds! Thanks for reading!Vegetarian options: Must let your server know your requests. They are pretty understanding and accommodating. Just ask.Kid-friendliness: They have a section for kids. Which is a win-win!“
“I had eaten at this restaurant several years ago when I was in town to see family. It was a memorable experience then, so I was very happy to get together with my family and friends for dinner. We ordered some Lady Fingers and Calamari for appetizers, followed by Tom Yum Soup. For our main dishes we had the Crab Fried Rice, Pad Thai, Pumpkin Curry (chicken), Pad Prik King (pork), and Sizzling Seafood Platter. The food was amazing and we inhaled everything. It was fresh and moderately spicy, just how I like it.For dessert, we shared a couple of Mango with Sticky Rice. A perfect finish to our meal.I was so glad it was as I remembered from years ago.“
“Have driven by Taqueria P-Hill since they opened, made the mental note to "go there!".After tiring of many unmemorable street tacos around P-Hill/Concord, I finally went here to give it a try. I kept it simple, ordered two El Pastor street tacos. Super nice Amigo took my order and then proceeded to load up on fresh salsas to try + spicy peppers/carrort/onion/potato side. Order served, which was a perfect serving for me. I tasted each salsa they offered that day. Settled on the mango salso for the El Pastor.....reminded me of tacos I ate is Sayulita, Mexico. I know I gave this a 5-star rating for my single dining experience; however, the rating stands because my nit-picky personality wants to return again. We are lucky to have local business like Taqueria P-Hill. Drop in and give them a try. I will for sure!“
“We were in Concord and looking for some good Mexican food. My husband found this place on Yelp and decided we should try it. We came in on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy. As soon as we walked through the door we could smell food and it smelled delicious. The server came over as soon as we sat down to take our order. She was very nice and answered the questions we had. She brought over chips, salsa and beans. I had a top shelf margarita it was very good. I ordered the chile verde it was delicious. My husband and son got burritos. They came with sour cream, guacamole and pico de gallo on the side. They were both very happy with their food. I had a bite of burrito it was delicious too. Our food came out pretty quickly and everything was hot and fresh. Our server did check on us to see if we were happy with our food or needed refills on our drinks. The women's bathroom was extremely clean and the restaurant had some great art on the walls. They also have a TV the baseball game was on while we were dining. This was a great find we really enjoyed this place and will definitely be back to try more dishes.“
“A must try! The scallop risotto is absolutely amazing! The salmon was delicious. Drinks are special. The punch bowl is the way to go. Soooooo good! Our waitress, Kayla, was attentive and knowledgeable. She made excellent suggestions. She made our experience that much better. The manager, Melissa, took the time to come chat with us and make sure all was well. The pastry chef knows what she's doing. Best carrot cake I've ever had. Super friendly staff, great ambiance. We might be back every weekend.“
“One day a prince disguised as a pauper from far away walked into a humble roadside restaurant. He was greeted kindly and given a window seat. The owner, swiped his hand in the air and said, 'You must be tired and very hungry.' The prince nodded yes. The owner open his arms and gestured, 'For you, eat all you see and enjoy our Indian dishes made with love.' The prince smiled, and ate four plates stacked high with deliciousness. The prince rose up, to reveal he was the prince of Yelp. He smiled broadly and cheered, 'This is a magically place of food wonder and adventure. I bestow this as the best Indian Buffet of thee land of Bay Area!!!'“
“I tried this restaurants for the first time yesterday March/24/2024, staff are sweet and nice, Service are great, atmosphere are cool, the Koubideh Kebob was absolutely AMAZING.The only thing that I wasn't a big fan of was the Appetizers "Combination Platter" was overpriced and didn't taste as good.“
“Wow! This place was delicious. I ordered salsa verde enchiladas and they tasted so fresh. They brought me chips and salsa too, before my food came out and the salsa was so tasty. Highly recommend if you anywhere close to this area to stop in!“
“Berkeley Students' Best Bang for the Buck! New Management Brings a Fresh Culinary Experience!Hello everyone! Today, I want to introduce you to a restaurant located in Berkeley that used to be relatively unknown, with mediocre food. However, now, with new management taking over, it has undergone a remarkable transformation, making it the go-to place for Berkeley students in terms of value for money! The restaurant's name hasn't changed, but the owner has, so make sure to remember the address!First, let's talk about the prices. At this restaurant, $100 can easily satisfy two people with an abundance of delicious dishes! Whether you're a student or a working professional, this price point is incredibly budget-friendly. What's more, the quality of the food has seen a significant improvement. If you're a fan of spicy food, then this place is an absolute paradise for you. Their spicy hot pot and hot dishes will not disappoint. Moreover, if you feel it's not spicy enough, you can request extra spice, and they'll tailor it to your taste.Overall, the changes at this restaurant are truly astonishing. Whether it's the taste of the food or the affordability of the prices, it's hard to believe. If you're a Berkeley student, this place is undoubtedly the king of budget-friendly and nearby dining options. Don't miss out on this opportunity; hurry up and give it a try!“
“I come here once a quarter because I always regret eating too much when I leave lol. I came back yesterday and the meat and broth is still delicious. The salad bar has changed with a limited selection and didn’t seem as fresh. Good thing I’m here for the meat! The music is loud, borderline blow your eardrums out. Let’s turn that a few notches down so people don’t need to scream across the table. Always a good time here!“
“First time trying this place with my sisters! We definitely enjoyed the vibe! We got seated fast, and got our order right out the way! The food is decent portion with a lot of good flavors def recommend this place if you're around Pittsburgh area“
“This is one of my favorite poké places in the east bay! I've been here a handful of times and I've enjoyed my food every visit! I like how they have an ordering kiosk to place your order instead of ordering w/ someone and telling them each ingredient to put into your box down the line. The kiosk makes it so much easier and is also perfect for introverts like myself! The fish here always tastes fresh and they have a nice variety to choose from. They also have different base options that not many other poké places have, like the citrus kale and kelp noodles. Their portion sizes are also decent and are the perfect size for me. My go-to sauce combo is the spicy ono and signature medium -- I'm pretty sensitive to spice and this yummy combo is the perfect amount for me. Highly recommend this place to fulfill your poké cravings!“
“Beautiful day to be seated by the window! We were seated almost immediately. Our server, Oak, appeared as soon as we sat down. She was pleasant and attentive! Ran down the menu (including the stuff not listed). Our food was delivered quickly and it was very tasty. The entire staff was great. We noticed how well and easily they managed larger groups and special party events, like birthdays. We are already making plans for our next visit...with our kids and their families!“
“pretty roomy, okay service. great and affordable food. Annoying Computer for taking orders. I prefer that when i am tipping i at least talk to the cashier. their method makes the tip feel like a fee rather than for the customer satisfaction. i prefer that the service charge be padded to the food cost and let tipping be for customer satisfaction.“
“BEST CHINESE IN THE EAST BAY HANDS DOWN !! There's a reason they've been around for 30+ years ! Never once been disappointed and our family's been going here for decades. The owners & waiters are an absolute delight as well and are always so fun to speak with. Genuinely cannot recommend this place enough, their lunch specials are such a good deal so if you want to try here and leave stuffed for under $15 swing by! The ginger scallion beef is stupid fire and their kung Pao is the best I've had. Hope they continue to be in business for another 30 years :) love you guys !“
“I'm surprised there weren't more reviews for this place. This place is a hidden gem. First time I tried the birria ramen I thought where the hell has this been all my life! It's like a beef stew seasoned with tapatio and has ramen noodles. Today I tried the shrimp mango habanero tostada and it was amazing! So refreshing and I love the right amount of spice from the habanero and sweetness from the mangos. And PLENTY of shrimp. They are not stingy on that. Love this place and want to try all the menu items. Very high quality taste and ingredients!“
“Loved the chicken tenders with honey mustard sauce! The service was awesome. They were so patient with us especially since we were first time buyers. They even gave us a a free biscuit! The biscuit had sweet honey on top which was such a treat!“
“Gramps fries a mean fish.Swung by for lunch. Batter was puffy and crisp, fish wasn't overcooked or fishy, shrimp weren't rubber, and Jonny/staff were cool dudes.Fresh potatoes would be nice, but the chips were serviceable filler. The menu has a few unique non-seafood items in case you have a friend/partner/kid in tow that doesn't do seafood.I'll def be coming back again.“
“We had heard about Krispy Krunchy on Google. Weird that it's inside a gas station, but this is great chicken! We ordered the 8-piece dark box. The chicken is perfectly crispy and moist. Flavor is similar to Popeyes, but a little less cajun, but with lots of flavor. Better tasting that Popeye's IMHO!“
“Staff always friendly, food served hot and the rewards program is very helpful.Parking: Plenty of parking unless there is a special event being held there.Kid-friendliness: A few video game machines, a mechanical horse that I've seen.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of access for a wheelchair.“
“Very good place for a date with your partner or family, the food is very very good for seafood lovers, 100% recommended, it is a little expensive but it is worth itParking: It is very small, I think it can only hold 10 to 12 cars, not suitable for large trucks, cars and small trucks because it is very small.“
“My parents love this place so they invited me. I really enjoyed the service and the food so I took my wife here as well. We ordered the dinner combo 2 enchiladas and bistec ranchero. We both enjoyed our food (we shared). The chips were fresh and the salsa was seasoned well and not spicy. The enchilada (grilled chicken) was well seasoned and the green sauce complimented the dish. The beans and rice were also really good. The bistec was a little spicy (for my wife) but perfect r for me. We recommend this place. The portions were plenty and the service was great. There's plenty of parking and seating inside. There was also a steady line of people getting food to go.“
“Been coming here, and ti the original restaurant all my life. Haven't had a bad day here yet! Love the owner! He always greets everyone and ALWAYS delivers on the sushi. FOOD IS GREAT. I suggest letting him freestyle on a sushi roll for you! Best decision I ever made.“
“We really like this newer restaurant located near the Shell station at Clayton and YVR. The tamales are amazing and the refried beans are the tastiest around-we decided to order from here in catering amounts for a large family dinner. So glad to have this yummy choice nearby.“
