“We loved our experience here. Attentive service and really good food. My only critique as a person with food allergies is that I wish those were listed on the menu (GF, V, DF, etc). A gluten free toast option would be amazing too, but I’ll take what I can get!“

“My favorite Korean spot in Los Angeles. Did some research online for good kimchi and discovered this place. Their kimchi is fantastic, but then I also discovered this entire meal. This is perfect comfort food. Sunday mornings. Rainy afternoons or pretty much anytime you need something soupy in your life.“

Food was great and was served pretty fast.Parking: Parking lot across the street ($4), lots of metered parking around place . If you get metered parking and leave before 8am it will be free..“

“Okay first, the salsa with the chips and salsa they serve is SO good. Spicy, but with flavor. The vegan quesadilla and the Beyond burrito were also amazing. All the veggies in them were super fresh and cooked perfectly. Also, get a black iced tea. Maybe the friendliest service as well. 100% recommend this place.“

“Fusion Filipino restaurant with natural wine and Filipino beer selection. After trying many under-delivered fusion Filipino restaurants, Spoon and Pork easily takes the crowd to have the best executed fusion style dishes. We had the sinigang, grilled chicken, adobo chicken wings, pork belly, and garlic rice, and none of them disappointed.Sinigang's soup was rich and flavorful while the topping in the soup was cooked separately so they are not over cooked. The ribs came with a real nicely grilled flavored. The pork belly had crispy skin as expected and the fat to meat ratio was really good. The adobo chicken wings sauce was thick and sticky and not too salty nor sour, we kept the sauce for dipping Even after the wings were devoured. We are glad we took another chance in another fusion Filipino restaurant and we'll keep S&P on our rotation.“

“If you're interested in trying popular Vietnamese entrees outside of pho, head over to Be U! This woman-owned eatery is located in a prime hipster Echo Park neighborhood, and to me, it's a perfect blend of my culture superimposed on Los Angeles's colorful cityscape. The menu ranges from homey comfort-food entrees to popular street bites, and some new-age fusion items as well. Atmosphere: 2/5 As a take-out-only restaurant located on Hoover Street, there's no seating and it faces traffic. If only there were some colorful plastic chairs (like the ones you see in SE Asia) - the vibes would be immaculate. However, you're either standing and eating or taking the food back to your home. Service: 3/5 Wasn't bad but wasn't warm or friendly either - service was okay Flavors: 5/5 Highly recommend: -Banh mi trung op la (banh mi with fried egg): homemade mushroom pate is delicious, it inspired me to make some at home. The egg was crispy to the heavens. -Rau ma juice: in English known as pennyworth, extremely refreshing, herbal, and will cool you down on a hot day. -Tofu goi cuon (spring rolls): The peanut sauce offered with this was so yummy! The spring rolls were super fresh and all the herbs complemented the flavors. Parking: 2/5 Street parking only, very limited Pricing: 3/5 Definitely not cheap for Vietnamese food, however, LA is a high-cost-of-living area so I understand that the owner needs to maintain overhead costs and pay her employees a fair wage! Expect to pay $4-5 higher than what you're used to paying in the OC/SJ/SGV. The reason why I rate it low is because the portions are significantly smaller than what you'd get at a traditional sit down Vietnamese restaurant Overall I recommend Be U if you're unfamiliar with Vietnamese food outside of mainstream pho, but if you're willing to drive to SGV, Garden Grove/Westminster, you'll be truly immersed in the cuisine and culture“

“Highly recommended. The Denae's Slam is so good. The doctored up hash browns were great. The only negative was that the sausage was a little overcooked. The$5.00 Bloody Mary's were VERY tasty! Our server, Carla, was very pleasant and thorough. Thanks, Carla.“

“Excellent kabobs, probably the best I've had in LA in the 5 years I've lived here. It's located in the middle of a residential area, and I had heard about it from so many people so I had to finally try it. I got the beef and chicken combo plate, and the meat was very tender and full of flavor. There isn't really a place to sit down and dine unless you want to sit at the one table out front, it seems like more of a takeout spot. The staff is INCREDIBLY friendly. A true " your friendly neighborhood" type of feel. I really appreciated that.I will add that they are very popular, so I would recommend calling in your order in advance for pickup to save yourself what could be a 1-2 hour wait. Much easier to then just go pick it up when it's ready.Parking: It's located in the middle of a residential area, so you have to find parking along the street. Alternatively, there is a shopping plaza about half-a-block away, and you could just quickly park there if you're picking up.“

“AMAZING. AMAZING. AMAZING!!! Saw this place reviewed on IG and decided to check it out. Listen, imagine high quality ingredients in a fast food setting. Now, imagine this done with PASTA. Insanely good. I had the Original Marinara with Italian sausage and I was absolutely blown away. The noodles were perfectly al dente and the sauce was not too sweet and not too savory, it was PERFECT and was a chunky meat sauce that was infused with the Italian sausage. The person who worked the register was SO POLITE, professional, and patient with me as I not only spoke about their selections, but she also heard me out regarding some awesome nearby eateries, as well (I had some chicken from a place called Kickin' Chicken and Fish that I absolutely needed to try with their pasta. Lbvs!). I will most CERTAINLY be back! Get here!“

“The purple sweet potato soup was one of the best soups I ever had outside my own kitchen. The table water is fresh and filtered to refreshing taste. My fish sandwich had great coke slaw and special sauce with pickles and jalapeños however the fish had been fried twice to warm it up. It was crusty near burnt. Please do not use an old restraint hack to repurpose entrees.“

“my friend bashes indian food and perhaps not just their food well let's keep that to ourselves shall we the problem is the price fundamentally an american may view this cuisine as exotic however i also view it as exotic but perhaps not worth the exorbitant fees they charge perhaps indian food in LA is a bigger racket than anything scorsese filmed about“

“Totally amazed by the great selection and quality of the food at lunch buffet. It was really good. They had chicken biryani, goat curry, chicken tikka massala, tandoori, chicken and so many other dishes. They also Chai tea and a good selection of sweet desserts. A gem of a spot and I'm glad I chanced upon it. This will be my go to for Indian buffet, authentic. Service was top notch too!!“

“Every time we eat there, we are impressed by the overall quality of the food and service. Chef Arango delivers high quality food in every dish. Each item is extremely fresh and well prepared. You can also tell that the family really appreciates every single customer. I can't say enough positive things about them. I am honestly thankful to have a such a solid Indian food option right in the neighborhood.“

“If you like loud music, bustling, and energetic vibes, this place is for you. The food was good. I had the catfish platter, but I would not recommend the omelet. I had the Peach Bellini good drink, but I don't think it was worth 30 dollars even with the small bottle of Prosseco, maybe 20? Parking is a mess ??. And drinks were pretty huge as far as the Kool-Aid went. It's sweet, too. The wait wasn't too bad, either. Overall, I'd go back if I was invited.“

“The food was ok tasting (we ordered the seafood pancake, soft tofu soup, bulgogi and mackerel) and the wait staff courteous. The banchan options were delicious. The place is a no frills mom and pop restaurant located in a shopping strip center.“

“Breakfast burrito alert!! A hidden gem! The breakfast burrito at Twin Castle (@Moorpark & Vineland) is really good.$7.99 Way better than Corner Cottage in Burbank. Not quite as good as Larry's Chili Dog, but Larry's brekie burr is now about $11“

“I absolutely adore Rustic Kitchen! Came here with a friend for dinner. Due to its proximity in my neighborhood, I couldn't wait to try this gem of a place. When you walk in, the restaurant has a very intimate vibe. Our waitress was super kind and open to answering all questions that we had. The food was so delicious! I ordered the salmon and mashed potatoes with a side of broccolini while my friend ordered the lobster Mac and cheese. Everything was cooked to perfection. While I didn't get to try their wines, it's on my list now to come back just for that! I highly recommend this restaurant!“

“Dropped in on a rainy day, was greeted immediately and was sat in a nice booth. We ordered a salad and the special of the day, "A Spicy Meat-a Ball-a". Great ingredient combo and had a nice thin crust...very edible ?. The house salad was fresh and with their unique dressing, it was surprisingly delicious. Will definitely be a repeat customer!“

“The woman who attended me was amazing!! I really loved the strawberry milk and the pork belly was very delicious. I was just a little disappointed in the egg since it was warm on the outside but really cold in the inside which made me lose my appetite. The noodles also tasted too much like eggs in which I don’t really enjoy. The soup was really good though and again the pork belly tastes amazing!!“

“One of the best Korean places I’ve been to. I loved their Pork Belly and Baby octopus dish. It had tons of bean sprouts which seemed a bit odd at first, but completed the dish. Everything was perfectly seasoned. A little sweet and salty but not too much of each. Very big portions and great side dishes.“

“Oh my god. I don't normally leave reviews but I just ordered delivery from here and I had to. This is the best Thai food I've had in LA. Period. I got the Pad See Ew (See You Again, for sure), Basil Crispy Chicken Wings and Thai Iced Tea. SO GOOD. The Pad See Ew is so flavor packed. The beef and noodles are cooked to perfection, I LOVE the way the tofu is cooked. I am so picky about tofu, this is perfectly fried and sized, crispy on the outside and not dry on the inside. AMAZING. I LOVE LOVE LOVE vinegar chili and am soooooooo happy these came with the dish on the side, definitely ordering extra next time! The chicken wings are SO crispy and flavorful. Holy cow. Thai iced tea not too sweet or too milky, literally perfect. Compliments to the chef!!! I've tried every Thai place and had given up on finding anything that is worth ordering. I am SO glad I took a shot. I can finally order Thai weekly again :') ORDER FROM HERE YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!! I can't wait to try everything on the menu. You can tell the chef cares about every dish that's prepared, high quality and not just thrown together. So happy!!!“

“Wow what a wonderful restaurant! I am so glad I arrived here early because they fill up quickly. The food at Sulga is so delicious. I love the sides they give you with your meal. I tried the spicy noodles and fell in love. I can't wait to go back to eat them again. The broth in their soups is so delicious and healing. The employees are so kind and work so hard. 10/10 restaurant.“

“Nutella cronut was amazing! The Vietnamese coffee was also good. Service was a little slow for just 2 customers in the morning, but I think it's more due to the cashier/server was still undergoing some training. She was polite and courteous though. I'd still go back.“
“I just tried the passion salad , the awake, and vibrant salad. I would definitely recommend this place. And that sneaky guy put some banana pudding in my bag, which I did not order, but OMG I'm glad he did. I will be ordering that banana pudding from here on out. It was amazing!“

“The place was a very pretty place but food wise I got the apple crumble pie. It wasn't really my forte because personally I just don't like apple pie. I like the crust and I will say the crust was like super good. It was super moist. It got so nice sweetness from the apples and what I did was I took the apples out. I threw them away. The apples did not taste bad. I just didn't like it so I threw the apples away. I put some ice cream in it you know and ate it like that. It was super delicious for those of y'all that just like the crust and don't like the feeling. Second of all the chicken pot pie, the first time I got it it was very unseasoned and there was no potatoes in it. There was I think carrots and peas in it and I just it wasn't favorable but the crust again always. That's why y'all called crusties cuz it's so good. Yeah cuz it's so good. The second time I got the curry chicken pot pie. That was amazing. I had great seasoning highly recommend. Service wise the service was decent like I went up to the store and this guy told me to wait. I said boy I'm a customer. One thing you're not about to do is tell me to wait but I wasn't. I didn't say that but I thought that cuz it was kind of like random and I was the only person in there. So like what am I waiting for but I just stood there because I don't know what's going on. So I said let me weigh my weight and I waited for like some 3 minutes and that was about it so nothing too much. I just think they should be very appealing in a little higher pitching their tone instead of being dull monotone like have an accommodating voice you know, yeah, thank you!“

“Amazing. The food is just so good every single time. From their burritos, to their rice balls and oh my god, the Thai teaaaa. *Chefs Kiss* Please try their Thai tea at least once in your life. “Fantastic restaurant! They are known, as the name in Korean suggests, for their cheonggukjang (fermented soybean stew). Absolutely delicious. The staff working here take care of every detail in the service as well as the food. Price is also good. This is definitely one of the gems of ktown - homey, authentic, and delicious. Ample parking, but the restaurant itself is on the smaller side. There can be a small wait if coming at a popular time.“

“Excellent, spicy fried chicken. Easily the best I’ve ever had, and the pieces were large. I also had the fried okra, which was perfectly crisp. The baked beans were just the right amount of sweetness with a little bit of spice.Parking is extremely limited. Google maps shows a larger parking lot, but most of it is restricted to the residents of the building next door. You may need to park on the street and walk if you come during the busy time. Also, the restaurant is on the small side, so be prepared for a wait if they are busy.“

“I've dined at this place for 10 years since it was across the street from The Grove. Even with the change of venue the food here hasn't lost its touch.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy accessibility with entrances, and spaces secure enough to fit mobile or manual chairs, as well as maneuverability.“
“The chicken strips are amazing, the chicken sandwich are amazing. I've had so far the hot honey, mild, and original. I would say that the hot honey would be the best, still need to try the other flavors. The mild was ok, it was more of the seasoning instead of a sauce which was kind of disappointing, but still enjoyable. The fries were decent, but to be fair it would've been better if I would've eaten the fries then and there instead of waiting to get home. Overall, the service is great, I ordered online and as soon as I got there it was ready for pickup. Great vegan chicken spot!“

“Discovered this gem on Doordash and ordered as takeout. I'm so glad I found this place and surprised it isn't more well known! I really enjoyed the ox bone sullungtang as it was milky and rich with umami flavor. I didn't even need to add salt! I also really enjoyed the radish in soy sauce and thought it paired really well with the brisket. I wasn't a fan of their kimchi, however, but the radish kimchi was decent. I think the broth is the star part of the meal and hope to dine in at this restaurant one day!“

“Well I went to “Sun Nong Dan” first, but experienced some terrible behavior from the server seating us. So I left and took a leap of faith and went to the restaurant next door. I was so happy with this decision! The service was amazing. Everyone was kind and attentive. The spicy beef soup was on point too. I will absolutely be coming back!“
“One of the real good experiences that I had with taco trucks is this one, their food is tasty and flavorful and another good thing is ,they accept Zell as well so it is not cash only like many other places, I tried their mulitas which was amazing The guy and the lady who took my order very polite as well!“

“Not a particularly large interior but well spaced tables. You order on an ipad screen at your own leisure.Ordered the half green onion and half garlic bossam with the pork belly kimchi stew.I highly recommend the garlic bossam if you enjoy garlic. The garlic mince is slightly sweet and pairs nicely with the pork. I personally didn't enjoy the green onion bossam as much because it's topped with a fermented soybean sauce, and in my opinion, the meat tasted significantly more gamey. The kimchi stew was really tasty. The spice level was perfect for someone like me who often orders mild or no spice dishes. It had a kick without being painful. The only complaint I would have is that the pork was quite dry and chewy. Also, rice is not automatically served with and you need to request it.For the banchan, the radish kimchi was a highlight while the pasta salad was very disappointing (it kind of just tasted like whole wheat bread but in a pasta form). Our server did a great job despite being the only one working the front.Parking: A small to medium sized parking lot shared by all the stores in that mall.“
