“I work nearby and I’ve been craving something sweet so I picked up some banana pudding from here and it was SO GOOD! It was the perfect amount of sweetness, bananas were good and the wafers still had texture to them. If that was just the dessert, I can’t wait to come back for the food!“

“Two Hommés is a culinary gem tuck away in Inglewood right next to the Ralphs on LaBrea and Centinela. I walked in during Sunday Brunch and I was welcomed by bigs smiles by the host. I learned that Two Hommés serves west African fusion and high quality food.I supported this Black-Owned business and ordered their house made crab cakes. They so fresh, delicious, and tasty. The owner Chef AB was so kind and lovely. He added grits, a biscuit, and a lemonade. 10/10 I recommend.“

“My family and I were in town and looking for a soul food place to try when we stumbled upon this restaurant by accident. We originally went into the location to order from a different cook (not realizing that it was a shared kitchen with several different restaurants inside) and that's when we were greeted by a woman offering samples of her food from this place and we loved the taste, so we bought our food from her. The food was really good and well seasoned. We were happy with our food choice! Give them a try!“

“If you like loud music, bustling, and energetic vibes, this place is for you. The food was good. I had the catfish platter, but I would not recommend the omelet. I had the Peach Bellini good drink, but I don't think it was worth 30 dollars even with the small bottle of Prosseco, maybe 20? Parking is a mess ??. And drinks were pretty huge as far as the Kool-Aid went. It's sweet, too. The wait wasn't too bad, either. Overall, I'd go back if I was invited.“

“LOVE the torta Nona. They said they needed more business and I've tried posting on social media/tagging them but don't respond/share/maximize the word of mouth. Hoping they find ways to draw in that business! We're missing out if we don't have them on this block! “Clean, cute, good service, yummy. I got the Bachos which like a Jamaican nachos. I never had Jamaican food to know but I liked it. Salty for me but I don't add salt to anything and the Frito type chips already come that way I think. I got the lentil as my protein, which was like crumbled falafel. The cheese sauce was like a salad dressing texture and flavor. Reminded me of Cesar salad dressing. I think I found a raisin in there and I didn't mind. Would definitely come back. “The purple sweet potato soup was one of the best soups I ever had outside my own kitchen. The table water is fresh and filtered to refreshing taste. My fish sandwich had great coke slaw and special sauce with pickles and jalapeños however the fish had been fried twice to warm it up. It was crusty near burnt. Please do not use an old restraint hack to repurpose entrees.“

“First sit in restaurant we had while on vacation… the vibe is a VIBE! The music playing, the customer service.. the love you feel when you walk in the door is everything. The service was amazing! Then the food…. I already started eating before thinking about a picture. Every food we got (and we had all different types of breakfast) was made well! Definitely enjoyed this.. experience.“

“The food is great, a vegan take on soul food, but the wait is ridiculous. I've ordered many times hoping the wait improves, and as of current it hasn't. They open at 6pm and for me that is already late to have a meal, but worse I end up getting my order at least 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. after the designated pickup time. I truly hope the best, but I just can't roll with this.“

“The ambiance of this establishment is truly unique in the Los Angeles area. The tropical atmosphere is aesthetically pleasing and the cocktails are expertly crafted. Regrettably, the menu options are rather limited as several items are no longer offered so feels more like bar food than a full dinner menu. Nevertheless, the exceptional service provided by the staff is commendable. I highly recommend this venue for pre-dinner drinks with colleagues or for a casual evening out.“

The only thing about going here in this area?? is when you pull up in the parking lot there is always about 2-3 young men that are standing out in the parking lot. “I went for lunch with a friend during the week. It was near the holidays, so pretty empty. There was one guy working the tables and the service was fine (he was friendly but took his time to come over).They definitely give you large portions, which I was happy about. I had the jambalaya and my friend ordered the salmon croquettes. Both were seasoned well and the accompanying corn bread was delicious. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because the chicken in my jambalaya had a slightly rubbery, processed taste/texture. Maybe I had a bad batch but to have such an important ingredient not work left me slightly disappointed.But I still enjoyed myself enough that I would go back again. I'd just have a different dish.“

“Go-to and favorite sushi place in and around LA! The ?? citrus salmon roll is just perfect and I love the spicy tuna crispy rice too. Staff is always super nice and orders always come out consistent and on time. Will definitely visit more and can't wait to try everything else on their extensive menu!“

“Went there today just before closing. Purchased oxtails with candied yams & rice and gravy. Excellent tasting, the gravy was delicious oxtails were falling off the bones and the candied yams were very good also. Did not really like the corn bread dressing. “Rinky dink place, but the food and atmosphere make up for it. The customers were friendly. The service was extraordinary. The owner cane out, the cook and the waitress all checked repeatedly. Great service. Because we represented a sorority, Many people spoke to us. One person actually paid for our meals! When we found out, we all cried. It was a wonderful spirit at Dulans, and we were thankful for everything that occurred. We'll be back the next time we go to L.A.“

“I haven't had food this good in a long time. It's a bit pricey, but the quality and flavor are worth the cost. The food is delicious, especially the waffles. The greens are delicious and not canned, candied yams were fresh and the mac n cheese was full of flavor. The chicken was full of flavor and crispy. Delicious food with great customer service.“

After ordering online, I picked up my order and upon getting home I realized the order was incorrect. I called and talked to the lovely Tosha who admitted the restaurant's mistake (wrote down the order wrong), apologized, and offered me a free meal to make up for the mistake. “It's definitely good. The only problem is that our drinks have been wrong both times we've ordered from Postmates. I love the mini cornbread! The Mac n cheese is felt needed a bit more sharp cheddar for that extra kick, like Roscoe's. Everything else was delicious.“

“I finally got a chance to try this taco truck out. I have been seeing it all on instagram so I wanted to support this black owned business and also know if it lived up to the hype? Yes! First the service is great everyone was friendly and helpful. Also I didn't wait long. I want to say at the max I waited 6 or 7 minutes for my order to be ready. I ordered the LAtryguy special $27 + $1 for card. Which comes with 2 enchilada parm tacos (I got 1 steak and 1 chicken no olives or cilantro) and parm Doritos tacos (1 ground turkey and 1 chicken no onions or tomatoes) and a large kool-Aid fruit punch All of them were good but my favorite is the chicken and I did like the enchilada tacos the best. Very flavorful. My only con was the price. I felt like damn near $30 for 4 tacos is a bit much. To where I couldn't see my self coming here often to spend that on a regular. The food and service was really good and the kool-aid was the best I've ever had. But the prices will make me pause in returning.“

“Best BBQ hands down! I have been getting my Que for over 3 years now. So much they know me by name and my order. I'm a no sauce person and a lot of places can't deliver that "wow" effect when it comes to seasoning. But Rowes seasonings is to perfection. All the sides are fire, my favorite is the potato salad. Plates are well portioned, for a great price. And we ain't gonna talk about the Peach Cobbler??. Gotta get there early tho, because by 3 or 4 some food can be sold, that's just how good it is. No cap, I have business I do bi weekly in the area and I never leave without going thru and grabbing a plate. Keep bringing that ? Que Rowe I'm a customer for life!!!“

“A passerby saw us looking at the menu and said this place was IT. We went in and had the best fried chicken I've had in years--I could have ordered just the crispy, crackly skin and been happy. Plus, the candied yams were amazing! We're coming back to this place.“
