“It's a Denny's, but it's well kept and they play pretty decent music on the speakers. Our server Maria was amazing, we had a steady stream of fresh coffee and the food was piping hot when it came out. It's classic American Diner Breakfast fare, but for $6.99 for a full breakfast what's not to love. Great spot and we will be back again to have breakfast with Grandpa.“
“Food could've been good, but the chicken strips were fried in old oil and the spicy skillet was swimming in oil. I had to throw the strips away.Update 11/19/23 Maria S. is great! She's very professional and has a really positive disposition. Thank you!“
“Old time diner with great food ? and tasty adult beverages. Only negative I have is that this restaurant is so popular there is sometimes a wait to get in. But with that said it is worth the wait. Note I have only visited the establishment for breakfast.Parking: Open parking lot on the south side of the establishment.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly restaurant.“
“Susana Excellent, friendly service. This was our first time here. We were very pleased with the value and quality. While a lot of places have raised there prices a lot Dennys seems to be trying to keep their menu affordable. Their coffee is awesome!“
“Me and my BFF went there this early afternoon. Our server, Jose R was so great! He welcomed us with his good smile. He took our orders so courteously. The food was great! He checked on us if our dining was fine. Lastly, he thanked us for coming to their location. We would love to come back to this place again. Splendid dining experience we had on this location! Thank you!“
“The employees were friendly and the food was delicious. What I ordered was set number 4 and the sausage and cheese omelette, and the french fries and fried egg were good because they weren't overly seasoned. As for the omelet, the sausage inside is very salty, so it seems like people have different opinions.I ordered orange juice as a drink, and the orange juice was sweet and sour, so it was okay.“
“Highly recommended. The Denae's Slam is so good. The doctored up hash browns were great. The only negative was that the sausage was a little overcooked. The$5.00 Bloody Mary's were VERY tasty! Our server, Carla, was very pleasant and thorough. Thanks, Carla.“
“This is the nicest Big Boy I've ever been to lol. It was definitely giving off those Midwestern diner vibes. Large menu covering all the basics plus daily specials. Got the roasted garlic blu burger medium, added bacon. One of the better burgers I've had in a while. They also serve alcohol and are open 24hrs. More paid back than most of the upscale establishments in the area.“
“I ordered bowl of chili soup. They offered onions and cheese to go with it.The atmosphere is old school. The counters are Formica. The taste of the $3.25 coffee reminds me more of Starbucks and less of Two Guns coffee shop. That’s just fair; considering the price bracket. The whole experience (chili and free flow coffee) was $16 total. That’s including tips.It got really busy around 11:45 am. I vacated my bar seat for a customer who really wanted the seat.“
“Good food. Good menu. Brought a couple friends, we had the Greek omelette, the guacamole omelette, and a breakfast burrito. All great. Biscuits were great but my burrito friend ate half of them. Potatoes are the russet variety, nit my thing, but, they cooked them properly. Service was good and friendly. Enjoyed the vibe and the decor. We took a moment after lunch to peruse the 1940s era posters and newspapers on the walls. Interesting. We will be back again“
“We started with milkshakes (one of which was the Vegan Cookies and Cream) and both tasted delicious. I was excited to find a place that offered a Dairy Free Milkshake option. For dinner we had the Fried Chicken and a Burger, both portions were plenty and very delicious. Waiter was friendly and informative. Atmosphere was great as well.Dietary restrictions: There were vegan/non-dairy options available.“
“You really feel the nostalgia when you walk into this restaurant. For my first attempt I tried the chicken fried steak and was left with a smile on my face and some room in my wallet for the next meal. This place deserves all the hype it can get. Can't wait to try more goodies.“
“Danny's menu used to be better. Especially for breakfast. Not many choices. Used to have corn beef hash, but nowadays, no more.Service wise around the tables is average ( will come by when needed ) but they wuld prefer @ least 18% tip. Really? When they don't even come by to really check with u if everything is ok. Or even a short chit chatParking: AvailableKid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“#CulvercityDennys is the best go to breakfast spot ? Big “ZID” is 5 ⭐️ server! He lets you know he is there to make sure your dining experience is important to him. The food was fresh, served quickly, & coffee is made right! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️’s from #agreatfullstore“
“I always order the tuna melt from here which is delicious. I think this is a great spot to stop at if you're from around the area. The service isn't the fastest but once you get your food you're pleased. The inside isn't the nicest but it has that hometown feel to it.“
“I love the food here. It is delicious. Everything from the breakfast items (served all day), especially the Portuguese Sausage (which is their own recipe and it's a patty type sausage not like a hot dog) and eggs and the Hawaiian Royale (a rice dish with eggs, portugese sausage, char siu, sauce, kind of like a fried rice but not). The Japanese food is delicious, they do a great tempura. Or if you just want a burger and fries you can't go wrong either. So all the things needed to be a great little diner.“
“Myraim is very nice and took our order. We were seated right away, and our food did not take long. The apple pie ala mode did it for me that is my review on the pie. I will be returning for some more pie. Mmmmmmm......pie.My son had a burger practically stacked almost to the ceiling. I am surprised he managed to eat the entire burger. I regret not taking a pic of the burger. He said it was so good he almost went into a food coma.Dietary restrictions: Has a section in the menu.Kid-friendliness: Menu and ?Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs.“
“Went during convention, it was very busy but we were seated quickly and the food came out hot and served the purpose of filling my belly. Pancakes were delicious and our server Sofi was very nice. Dennys, not your first choice, but the best choice when there's nothing else open.“
“Rahel was our server and she took care of us. She was welcoming and really fast! She provided us with anything we needed and the order was done right and fast! She kept coming back to our table to make sure we had coffee all the time, and in case we needed anything else. I’ve been coming to this Dennys about 26 years and I’ve never had any problems !“
“Saw the name and had to come in. This will be the third place named Snug Harbor I've been to! (Lakewood, California & Kearny, New Jersey if you are wondering). The place is really cool inside. Straight out of the 1940s, which is very cool.Okay, I started this review years ago and never finished my draft. I had an opportunity to come back today and am very happy that I did!Sergio took care of my drink order right away and with a smile. He definitely made me feel very welcome here. I started off with a Bacon Bloody Mary. Very tasty and you cannot go wrong with bacon.Delaney took care of my order and was fun to talk to as I had to share my Snug Harbor story with her!Food was delicious. I ordered the corned Beef Hash. The potatos were surprisingly flavorful, and the hash was done just right. Just a bit of salsa, which added some depth. The apricot jam was also great! If you have an opportunity to eat here, you should! Hopefully Delaney is working!“
“My favorite type of no b.s. diner. No gimmicks, no show. Great food and cash only. The best places on earth are cash only. I get to sit there and roll my eyes as all the douchebags who start to fumble around when they realize they don’t have cash to pay for their food, pure entertainment.“
“Food was DELICIOUS!!! I ordered the steak and eggs. The steak didn't need any steak sauce. The over easy eggs were on point. Their potatoes are thinly sliced with some really good seasoning! You will most likely have to wait for a little bit, but definitely worth the wait! I will be ordering their specialty pancakes next time. They smelled so good!“
“Rae's is a blast from the past, an original 1950's tiny diner! Perfect for breakfast. Prices are very reasonable compared to other restaurants such as Mel's Diner. Presentation of food is not important here. They bring out the food fast! This is not a fancy diner, but rather a simple cozy local breakfast diner that has not changed much since the 1950s in decor.I had the Rae's Special Omelette which is chunks of chicken, onions zucchini and cheese. The omelette was a bit hard, not soft and fluffy, but it was tasty with the breakfast potatoes and toast. This was under $12.My friend ordered the 2 eggs, 2 sausage and biscuit. The gravy was an extra .69 cents. She enjoyed her meal.On Sunday around 10:30am, the wait for two was not bad at all. Service was good, service with a smile, even though they were short staffed. They all worked very hard.Restrooms are located from the outside patio. You will need to ask the staff for the code to unlock them.Park on the side streets. Read the parking signs carefully to avoid any parking tickets.“
“The food and service were good I had no complaints. There aren't that many vegetarian options except breakfast. The dining room can use a remodel. There's some imperfections on the floor and walls but it's not that big of a deal. Still find this better than the norms on “
“I've been going to Ronnie's a couple times a month for the last few years. My go to was always the pancake special or French toast special. I'd recommend either of those anytime! Lately I've been getting the chiliquiles. I absolutely love them. I went yesterday and was told there's a new menu (photos included with new prices) and the chiliquiles now come with green sauce. Red sauce is not an option. I was so disappointed because I really wanted them and I do not like green sauce. Most places use the red sauce or at least give you the option of red or green. Very disappointed that's not the case here. Now I'll have to go somewhere else to get this dish“
“I had a burger and onion rings. I took an order home for my brother and split mine with my 98-year-old mother. And they join my opinion, that was the best burger ever ...cooked medium-rare ideally by the chef. With avacado, lettuce, cheese, tomato, onion, mayo ... what a fantastic burger. Oh, I won't be going back to Cafe 50s soon? You know I will! Ask for Victor, A real gentleman.“
“This Classic joint is a piece of L.A. nostalgia. Can't leave the place without getting pie every time I go. The burgers are epically delicious! The fries fresh and crispy! I went with the double patty Hickory burger. If you like a deep smokey flavor Hickory is the go too.The wife went with a single Steak burger W/cheese. Needless to say she throughly enjoyed. And yes, we got their Famous Apple Pie! Like I said, can't walk away from the place without taking home a pie! They offer a a wonderful selection of pies that are to die for but the Apple pie is where it's at. IYKYK.They offer other sandwiches on their menu. I haven't really tried any of them because Im a burger fiend. Sorry not sorry?“
“I came with my coworkers and special need adults for brunch and all 15 of us was well taken care of by the amazing Alejandra, who made sure we were comfortable and food getting out quickly. Can’t wait to come back for her smiles and warm personal touch. Thank you!!!!!!“
“My second time here and I ordered the pecan and banana pancake combo with portuguese sausage. The sausage was delicious and the pancakes were amazing. I put a little butter and syrup on the pancakes and think next time I would just use a little more butter and no syrup. The pancakes were sweet just by themselves. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area.“
“I go here after work now because it's atmosphere has changed quite a bit and it's due to customer service and servers like Vincent he is absolutely awesome. His personality and his professionalism goes above and beyond. He does everything for you to have a great meal at Denny's he gets 100% for customer service“
“I love this place. I feels like one of those American malls in the 90's when the economy was good. Also they have a GNC vitamin store, stores that sell Air Jordans, and a frekkin Cinnabon! Sabarro is always on point especially with that pasta.?“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Homeboy Diner, and it was a culinary journey like no other. This American food haven in Sacramento offers a menu that celebrates the flavors and diversity of American cuisine. From the juicy burgers to the perfectly cooked steaks, every dish showcased the chef's dedication to quality and taste. The ambiance was elegant yet relaxed, providing the ideal setting for a memorable meal. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations and ensuring that every aspect of my dining experience was exceptional. Homeboy Diner is a true standout among Sacramento's dining scene.“
“I wanted the lingonberry pancakes but they gave me blueberry. And my girlfriend lost her toe! Such a treat to come here on my trip.Food was great, blueberry pancakes were so good and so much blueberry (I did order that) and for me as a giant Lebowski fan it was so cool to see it exactly how it was in the movie. Pretty sure that was the Nhilists booth. For the non-lebowksi fan it's got great old school diner charm. For the Lebowski fan, you gotta get here.“
“The Pan is pretty small, so expect a wait. It is worth the wait though. We had the chilaquiles, peanut butter and chocolate pancakes, and the loaded hash brown. They were all delicious. I would say the hash brown was the star of the food though, it's a must try. The employees were all great. I would eat here again.Parking: Very small on site parking lot and street parking is hard to find.“
“The pizza, donuts, and smoothies are always fire ? and affordable prices, while supporting local businesses ????Vegetarian options: Can make your pizza fully vegetarian!Parking: Parking lot has a lot of pot holes so be careful but it’s free parking lotWheelchair accessibility: Access to building but hard to open door by yourself“

“Iggy's has some the best tasting fries I've had. And, I love fries. Everything we ordered good. “I LOVE THE VIBE OF THIS PLACE -- Old Fashioned. The customer service was real good too. When we walked in, we were greeted & told to sit wherever. The waiter answered the questions we had about the menu & then recommended a few things to us. We ended up getting the 2 things that he recommended -- The International Omelette & The Three Stooges. My fiance said the bacon was cooked perfectly unlike the bacon he had at Denny's. My daughter loved the Belgian waffle & ate the whole thing. My other daughter had the kids breakfast meal & she ate everything -- eggs, bacon, pancakes. I had the omelette & it was interesting how they put the regular square cheese on top of the finished omelette instead of putting shredded cheese on the inside. There was definitely a lot of meat in that omelette. However, I couldn't finish the hash browns because it did taste a little off for me, idk if it was because it was too oily. Also, when the other waitress gave our food, we were just sitting there waiting because there weren't enough forks so we had to ask for more when she came by but I like how she apologized. Another thing I liked is how we didn't have to wait for our check & how she dropped the check off to us when she saw we were almost finished & said "no rush. whenever you're ready." It made our time there go by smoothly because when having small children, you know how they get when they're done eating & just want to play around so you want to get out of there asap lol.“
