The burger is great and the bun is slightly crispy which is exactly I am looking for in a gourmet burger. The sauce is well balanced with a slight tanginess. I wish the side fried potatoes could be a little more though.I also ordered an Americano. Interestingly they served you a shot of espresso and let yourself add hot water to your like. It had an adorable retro 1930s vibe going on, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I ordered a coffee and their smoked salmon and latke (same as hash browns), and was pleasantly surprised by an unexpected poached egg. The hubby ordered two scrambled eggs and "cool ranch" hash browns (basically cool ranch dust). Everything was delicious, but after the server dropped off our food she was nowhere to be seen for a while, and it took some time to settle our bill. Luckily we weren't in a hurry, and I believe they had just opened, so I'm sure the service will improve as they get their bearings. I'd definitely like to try them again when next in the area.“

I stuck to French cuisine. Started with soup a l'onion. Delicious! A lot of gruyere and the right amount of onions, bread and soup. Next were the escargots in olive oil with a lot of garlic! Yum! Main course was the mussels! Those had to be the largest, most succulent mussels I have ever had! They came with fries, but you really didn't need them. I brought them home. Last was the Napoleon or mille feuille. Creamy! There were three layers: one with just the cream, second with strawberries, and the last with nuts. Wow! Never had one like that!The proprietor was very kind. He brought us our drinks and was very kind when we spoke to him in French. Wait staff was very courteous and we felt no pressure to eat and leave. To show how good this place was, we ended up sitting next to a well known French actor. My friend recognized him first. They say that if people of the same nationality as the restaurant dine there, it's usually a compliment to the restaurant and a testament of the food. The decor was very thoughtful with French flags and cozy seats. I wish it was night time as it looked like they have lovely fairy lights for the evenings. The person at the register was friendly and our food was fresh made and probably took about 20 minutes to arrive. I ordered the alpine tartine without bacon and it was DIVINE. I really enjoyed it and the mix of Brie, sour cream, egg, potatoes, and bread. I did add some hot sauce and pepper but it was very good. I appreciate the side salad to balance out the heaviness. I did not have space for their pastries but they looked amazing. I will say the one major downside is that they did not have espresso or specialty drinks when I visited which I found disappointing. I got a canned cold coffee which was okay. I would've loved a latte or cappuccino to pair with my breakfast.“

On the dinner menu, pasta entrees (tagliatelle and rigatoni) were both lovely but the true star was the 8-hour lamb shank over pureed potatoes with a Cabernet sauce. It was fall off the bone tender and so flavorful. Our excellent and enthusiastic server, Jonathan, recommended the chocolate mousse for dessert. The intimate dining room has only 5 tables, and a close up view of the kitchen.One of my favorite dishes was the Caviar Deviled Egg, it even had heart shaped waffles on the side! I also enjoyed their pine milk bread and blossom butter that was served with a mushroom broth.There were three main savory dishes.The Red Bream & Scallop "Farci", was my least favorite dish of the menu, it was cooked perfectly, and the sauce looked good, but somehow it all tasted completely flavorless, which was really disappointing.The A5 Wagyu with a ramp stuffed Morel mushroom was amazing, but the main highlight of the meal for me was the Liberty Farm's Duck "Rouennaise". It was delicious and the presentation was really unique.One of the desserts was a cherry sorbet with "dip n dots" which was one of the most flavorful sorbets that i've ever had, and a perfect way to end the meal. This was such a fun and unique experience but it was probably the most expensive 2 star i’ve been to and I don’t think it lived up to the price tag compared to other restaurants i’ve dined at with the same Michelin rating.“

“This was a very good experience for my partner na do. We are not French food experts but I will say the food was quite authentic and would recommend their fish dishes the most. I had salmon over cream sauce, accompanied by squash with tomatoes and snow peas. Everything was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is great and service was among the kindest I can recall. I will recommend this place to friends and family. Any comments on parking are beyond the control of this restaurant. It’s in busy location but you know that going in. The onion soup was also very good but one serving was easy shared with two people.“

We started off with the hummus board, which was amazing and chef Alex told us he makes the hummus from scratch. For the main dish, I ordered the burger which was perfectly sized especially for a multi course meal. Lastly, Alex recommended the gelato for dessert. It was literally a 5 min drive from the flower market and we found a parking space on the street with no issues (metered parking). The area was clean and safe. Let me tell you about the menu - the variety was great with a list of savory and sweet crepes with salads and sandwiches too. You could get bottled drinks or soda fountain. The service was very efficient - order at the counter, find a table (indoor or outdoor) and then the found came out hot and delicious. My daughter and I shared a sweet one called the Royal with Nutella, banana and strawberry and I ordered the Paris with chicken, mushrooms and a creamy sauce. Portion size was just right - not too filling but a nice amount. The decor is so cute and the small space feels bigger. It's a hidden gem and I highly recommend.“

The restaurant, the food and the service is very reminiscent of eating at a local cafe in Paris. You know, you walk around, look around and finally pick a place for dinner, any place, because so many of the restaurants in Paris are good. This is how I felt of my first experience at Le Petit Chez Mimi.Many who dined tonight (Friday night) seemed to be regulars and locals. The service staff dressed casually (blue jeans) and the service was good. Whereas Pasjoli, the wait staff are uniformed and professionally trained - what you expect from a Michelin recognized establishment. With Le Petit Chez Mimi, its simply good food, not particularly IG worthy in its presentation.Surprisingly, the prices were higher than I expected. I guess I was expecting a simpler, quaint French cafe to be more reasonably priced. But I guess this is to be expected for French cuisine.Now for my food review:-Escargot. Not bad. I've had better. I felt it needed salt and more of that greenish garlicky sauce (pesto-like.) Please excuse my lack of knowledge of the correct ingredients.-Onion Soup. Excellent! One of the best French Onion soups in town. The portion size was perfect. Sometimes, the portions are so big, you dont have room for the remaining courses, but theirs was perfect. Nice gooey cheese!-Entrées: the 3 of us had 2 different steaks and one pork chop entrée. Again, all were tasty and the steaks were perfectly cooked, but the pork chop was overcooked. This place isn't Michelin-worthy because of the simple presentation (not much presentation at all.)-Dessert: The Tarte Tatin was excellent. It was like warm apple pie with fresh cold whip creme. It was perfectly spiced, slightly tart, and not overly sweet. Someone posted on Yelp! that this was an "award winning" dessert. Hmm, it maybe?Parking: Plenty of parking. No valet service. Self park at the business park adjacent to the restaurant.
