“Cute spot. Sweet staff with warm greetings. Rolls were perfect. The cucumber salad is my new favorite dish, very simple. We will be back. The place is small. That isn’t a bad thing but you might have to wait if your party is larger than two people.“
“The food at Shikibu is top notch! From the fresh sushi and sashimi to the appetizers, green tea and desserts, everything is very fresh and artfully presented. Every dish is very nostalgic for the time I've spent in Japan. The atmosphere is very cozy and personal and offers direct interaction with Chef Thomas as he creates every dish.“
“Having tried both the Take out as well as Sit down menu, my best advice is this: sit down and get hand rolls! The take out is essentially fish and rice and sushi, so you can wrap it yourself, but you miss out on all the interesting toppings they add when eating there in person! They put roe, shiso leaf, rice cracker, which elevates the handrolls beyond the norm. Definitely go during Sunday dinner when they have happy hour (HH) before they take it away! Half off the $33 Extra Medium menu...totally worth! If you have the Amex Platinum card, get the Inkind membership ($100 credit thru platinum) and collect your discounts here.“
“Delicious food, and great atmosphere! Love the tempura sweet potato and shrimp tempura roll. The reverse, happy hour is such a great idea. We had such a great experience and these folks treated us to free dessert after overhearing that we had a rough week. We appreciate you so much and will be back soon!“
“I recently dined at this sushi restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The freshness of the fish was outstanding, and each roll showcased a perfect balance of flavors. The presentation was artful, and the attentive staff added to the overall enjoyable dining experience. I highly recommend trying their signature rolls – a delightful fusion of traditional and creative elements. A top-notch spot for sushi enthusiasts!“
